British Parliament to be suspended in September

Boris Johnson

Parliament will be suspended just days after MPs return to work in September – and only a few weeks before the Brexit deadline, the BBC has reported.

Boris Johnson said a Queen’s Speech would take place after the suspension, on 14 October, to outline his “very exciting agenda”.

But it means the time MPs have to pass laws to stop a no-deal Brexit on 31 October would be cut.

House of Commons Speaker John Bercow said it was a “constitutional outrage”.

The Speaker, who does not traditionally comment on political announcements, continued: “However it is dressed up, it is blindingly obvious that the purpose of [suspending Parliament] now would be to stop [MPs] debating Brexit and performing its duty in shaping a course for the country.”

This may give Trump the idea to try and shut down the US Congress like a king and have unlimited power over the villagers with Moscow Mitch and Leningrad Lindsay approval. Boris is the British Trump.

Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing..The kings,Prime Ministers, Presidents, Chancellors etc. and all the rulers take counsel together against JAHOVAH and HIS anointed.
JAHOVAH that sitteth in the HEAVENS shall laugh ,,JAHOVAH shall have them in derision…
In other words HE will have them confused, they can’t find their way and HE sits on high and laugh them to their faces ….
    What a bunch of idiots….

The last time this happened was in the 17th. century when King Charles the first suspended Parliament. He did not like to be answerable to an elected body and did not brook opposition. After 11 years of royal dictatorship he was locked up in the Tower of London and susequently beheaded. History has a habit of repeating itself. Are we heading the same way? The will of the people is ultimately irrepressible.

Sounds like Trump, he does not like to answer to the elected representatives of the people, he may try to shut down Congress. What his buddy Boris is doing is a trial balloon, if it works in Britain Trump may try it.

He won’t get away with this. This guy is worse than Trump. Another seasoned liar. He won’t be around for long. I give him less than 100 days in power. The people of the UK are outraged…

Take time out to know this man before making such a definitive pronouncement. He is referred to as the Donald Trump of the U.K. He is an Utra Conservative figure. The people (citizens) didn’t vote for him to be leader. It was his fellow Conservative Parliamentarians.

Well i am a conservative myself. I dont support liberal social morals (gays and abortions etc), nor do i support socialist agendas (red clinic and free everything but high taxes… y cant skerrit drop VAT to 5%?) And i have a problem with Haitians entering and leaving our island unchecked and to no benefit to us- other than harming our rep in the french territories.
Are these beliefs any different to yours?

No surprise as this guy is being exactly who and what he is. He is doing what he was expected and elected to do.

I do feel sorry for my relatives toiling under the Union Jack post-Windrush; however, I would appreciate some sympathy in return for having to deal with the similarly bazaar state of affairs here in the land of “Stars and Stripes.”

Let us continue to persevere while in the various strange lands in this present world. Remember to “give on to “Caesar the things that are Caesar’s” until the Most High decides to sort it all out.
