Chavez still in delicate condition – Venezeulan VP

Hugo Chavez

Three weeks after undergoing cancer surgery, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez remains in delicate condition and has seen only slight improvement in his health, the country’s vice president said Tuesday.

“All the time we are hoping for his positive evolution,” Vice President Nicolas Maduro said in an interview broadcast Tuesday night on Venezuelan state media. “Sometimes, he has had slight improvements. Sometimes, he has remained stable.”

In the past four days, Maduro said, he had visited and spoken with Chavez twice and noted the Venezuelan president’s great strength as he fights to recover.

The brother had better pray. His days seem to be numbered although no one knoweth the day nor the hour.

May the spirits be gentle on him and may his days, if they are the last, be pleasant and bearable.

So what is all this brouhaha about? Chavez is not a god, nor has death gone on vacation; we all must pass that way. Nontheless, he seemed to be lying too much to his countrymen, saying how he had fully recovered; moreover, the nation is still in the dark as regards his illness

Mr. Chavez has fought valiantly against an unseen enemy. However, my information is that he is on a life-support machine in an induced coma. I pray they are not keeping him artifically alive just to meet the Jan. 10 inauguaration deadline. That would be inhumane and undignified for the legacy of this revolutionary, regardless of whether one agrees with his vison or not.

I am no Chavez fan, but when it’s matters of illness i sympathize even with my vilest enemy. I know what illness is, since i have seen it within my home circle. So i pray that he gets well and realizes that he is not immortal… I pray that his counterpart on island ask himself questions.Life is not all about dishonesty, lies, cheating, stealing, arrogance, having a foul mouth/tongue,accumulation of illicit wealth…It’s also about ill health, retgrets, reflection, honesty, integrity etc.

I’m just curious, why are you going to pray for someone to ask himself questions referring sarcastically to the PM, when the questions you are referring to arise from your Political partisan and religious beliefs.Do you think the Divine Principle operates by dispensing justice or influenced by what you believe politically and religiously.
