COVID-19: Dominica listed among top 15 best recovering countries worldwide

IUNERA a German data analytics and support firm has released a report that places Dominica among the top 15 recovering countries in the world – Dominica is in the top 3 countries listed in the Americas.

The data for Dominica was taken as of 14th June 2020 when there were still two active cases.

The firm utilized Time Series Data Analysis of the COVID-19 Data Analytics to determine which countries are closest to recovery and ranked those countries into the top 3 by each major region of the world.

In the Americas Dominica, Barbados and Uruguay, are ranked as the top 3 countries closest to recovery.

Country performance is rated on an Activepercent sum scale of 0 to 100; a rating of 0 indicating the location being completely free of the virus and a rating of 100, the highest possible score in terms of impact severity indicating that the location is critically affected by the virus.

Well done Dr Skerrit and your team of very competent advisors, health practitioners, other frontline workers and of course, not forgetting the contribution of the team of Cuban health personnel currently still assisting in our effort to keep this virus at bay. The region should acknowledge and show appreciation to the Cubans by putting pressure on the US to end the ridiculous economic blockade on the Cubans which have gone on for far too long. Cubans lives matter the same as other nationals of other countries in the region. We should all band together and stand in solidarity with the Cuban people.

Thanks to our God of Heaven and Earth, through His Person, Christ Jesus, for guidance us unto the path of Light.

But fellow Dominicans let us stop taking Him for granted, and to those who completely ignore Him, I say to you all be careful!

Jesus has cautioned us through His disciples when He said: “I am the Vine and you are the branches, without Me, you can do nothing”

We must continue with a humble mind and a trustful heart, for that is a very important virtue between us and God. The praises belong to Him.

Congratulations to the people and government of Dominica on their resilience and vigilance in successfully managing the Covid 19 thus far. The battle is not over yet, the continued vigilance and adherence to the recommended health protocols is encouraged and the partnership between the people and the government must continue.

Why all the negatives? This is good news and a result of the measures put in place and followed by the population. When something is good, say it’s good!!
Now for the bad thing: PM Skerrit has still not ACCOUNTED for the 1.2 BILLION CBI money that he promised to do in August last year!!
    HOTEP!

Yes it is good news, but we must remember the population of Dominica.Just around 70000.And when compared with other nations with over three hundred million or billion. So there is nothing to boast.
