Singer David Bowie has died at the age of 69 from cancer.
Tributes have been paid from around the world to the “extraordinary artist” whose last album was released days ago.
His son, film director Duncan Jones, confirmed the news and a statement was issued on his social media accounts.
“David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18-month battle with cancer,” it said, asking for privacy for the family.
His son, who directed Bafta-winning film Moon, wrote on Twitter: “Very sorry and sad to say it’s true. I’ll be offline for a while. Love to all.”
Bowie’s hits include Let’s Dance, Space Oddity, Starman, Modern Love, Heroes, Under Pressure, Rebel, Rebel and Life on Mars.
David Bowie was a musical genius and a extremely talented performer. My favorite tracks are: Wild is the wind and Diamond Dogs. Say ‘hello!’ to Keith Moon and George Harrison on the other side.

This is a sad lose to the music industry. The Goblin King has died, long live the Goblin King.
So David Bowie is gone. My condolences go out to his family.
He will be remembered for his thought provoking songs and the rich diversity of his work. So often his kind leave us too soon. Its like the end of a concert. You’re left thinking there should be more.
For each one of us the time will come. When it does the question will not be how many friends did I have, how much money did I make, or even did I reach my goals in life. All that is going to matter is where are we going to spend eternity!
The deciding factor is going to be what did we do with Jesus Christ. This man called Jesus the Son of God died on the cross in payment for our sins, and rose again the third day! We can reject Him, or receive Him as our Savior.

David Bowie is (sic) a self-confessed satanist and illuminati stooge. He has pledged alliance to Aleister Crowley and his images and art abound with Freemasonry symbolism.
There is considerable controversy surrounding his death and it is claimed that this was staged.

RIP Bowie… Very brave and innovative artist. I love the song “Heroes”. The impact it had in Berlin will be forever recorded in the history of this city.
