Fatal shooting outside of Empire State building in NY

Scene of the shooting

A shooting at the Empire State Building — one of the most iconic tourist destinations in New York — killed two people and wounded at least eight others Friday, a law enforcement official said.

The shooter, who was one of the two killed, was shot dead by police, the New York Police Department said.

Witnesses say the gunman was wielding a large gun and was shot at least three times.

They say a security guard chased him down 5th Avenue, and helped alert police.

I know the guy that did this his name is Steve. He lived in my building and we worked out and talked about our lives and families on many occasions. This is a good guy I’m not sure what made him do this horrible thing. Some people are saying that he was under a lot of pressure and was distraught after losing his job, but he just got back from a vacation in Mexico and we live in beautiful building near Manhattan. He wanted nothing more than to spend his life with his girlfriend whom he considered his soul mate. Something else happened to him or there are any unknown elements here that caused this.

      @ TRUTH

It is sad what he did and that he was murdered. You will note that he was not a God-lover in that he did not practice the faith. He placed himself, his girlfriend and no doubt his job first rather than God.
Some people do not like to hear this. When people place God last in their lives or reject him, not giving him a thought, in time, what do they have to fall back on where problems set in?
If he recently returned from a holiday in Mexico, he should have been a happy man. If he lost his job, he could in time get another one. This is what lack of patience does to people. He murdered and now he is murdered, gone from this earth forever. If only he had turned to God for help and patience.
It is not the first time such an incident has happened in the U.S. when employees are fired or let go, they become angry and return and murder their bosses and other employees. If they believed in God, pay him homage and turn to him at such times, they will find solace through their difficult times. In the end, this is the same God they must stand before for their eternal judgment to give an account of their time in life and what they did. I wished more people would want to hear this and have patience to hear it and to read it. The day will come when they will need spiritual enlightenment and advice but for the moment because they are not yet affected they will reject it and even criticize those who write about this. God will not criticize those who write about him for this comes directly from him. He wants people to hear it.

Evil actions of a disgruntled co-worker. Can people not discuss rather than pull out a gun and murder and injure others? If only they would think before they act. Did he not think that he could be murdered? He probably did not care. I suppose this is what the world has come to. Well, he has gone to his eternal judgment, carrying hatred and murder in his heart. Foolish man. If he knew what was waiting for him beyond, he would never have murdered and injured others.
