German priest indicted on 267 child sex counts

BRAUNSCHWEIG, GERMANY (BNO NEWS) — A German Catholic priest has been indicted on 267 counts of sexual contact with children, prosecutors said on Tuesday.

The 46-year old man is accused of repeated sexual assault on at least three boys aged between 9 and 15 since 2004 in the northern town of Salzgitter, where he ran a parish. No date has been set for the trial, the dpa news agency reported.

In 2006, Catholic authorities came under fire for taking no action when they learned that the priest slept with a boy in his bed one night. But the Diocese of Hildesheim has argued that there were no sexual contact allegations at the time.

The priest, who has confessed to most of the charges to detectives, was ordered to stop seeing the boy after the boy’s family complained. The man, who has been in pretrial custody since July, was later arrested, according to the news report.

The Catholic church in Germany has faced a series of allegations of sexual abuse and brutal corporal punishment by clergy over the past 60 years. It has offered financial compensation to hundreds of victims.

The P.R. (public relations) people of the Roman Catholic Church have a policy that the ends justify the means. You may never see this in any of their writings but it is clearly understood among them that they can break any commandment if it is for the greater good of the church.

This is the only thing that explains some of the incredible claims they have made, and some of their actions. With an honest Biblical criteria of truth and falsehood, right and wrong in place such things could never happen.

Roman Catholic people stand in awe of their priests. They are taught that it is a sin to challenge the authority of the church. Catholics must believe the pronouncements of the Vatican. This makes it possible for the church to move into damage control to prevent the sexual abuse of children by priests from destroying the Catholic institution: something that might have completely wiped out some large Protestant denominations.

A report has been handed down that due to reforms in the Vatican from 1990 to 2000 the number of priestly predators has declined implying that the problem of sexual abuse in the priesthood is pretty well taken care of. Catholics who believe their church are sighing with relief without asking for documentation or seeing the stats.

What never occurs to them is that there has been no decline in the media reports of priests molesting little boys or young men, and to a lesser little girls. If they were thoughtfully watching the television news or even reading their newspapers they would know there is no difference world wide. This story from Germany is a case in point. Many of these crimes took place after 2004. There have been numerous other cases.

Read the newspapers :!: Watch the television news :!: Nothing has changed, not even the willingness of the Roman Catholic Church to lie when it is in the greater good of the church :!:

Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. International Evangelist.

The Roman Catholic Church does not allow its priests to marry. This policy is called celibacy. It is one reason why some priests get sexually involved with women in their parishes. The Apostle Paul wrote “Nevertheless to avoid fornication let very man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.” (1 Corinthians 7:2)

The rule that priests cannot marry did not come from God. The Apostle Peter had a wife. In Matthew 8:14,15 Jesus healed Peter’s wife’s mother. The Apostle Paul said “A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife…” (1 Timothy 3:2) Then he warned that in the latter times false teachers would come “Forbidding to marry…” (1 Timothy 4:1-3)

The policy of celibacy was useful to the Catholic Church. It was easier to move the priests around if they didn’t have wives and families. It also meant when a priest died instead of his family getting whatever property and money he had it would go to the church. For centuries the church tried to force celibacy on the priests with various degrees of success. But in 1545 the Council of Trent made a decree that any priest who married would be excommunicated and barred from all religious functions. A married man who became a priest had to leave his wife.

Why are so many homosexual men attracted to the Roman Catholic priesthood? These are men who do not intend to get married so celibacy is not a sacrifice. It provides them a perfect cover for their homosexuality. Nobody is going to think it strange that they don’t date or get married. It brings them into contact with an ample supply of boys and young men in what appears to be perfectly innocent circumstances. The offering of their lives to God and their service to the church gives them a sense of forgiveness and acceptance with God.

The fact that priests cannot marry is often blamed for the priests molesting little boys or young men. Celibacy is at least partly to blame for the priests who commit fornication with women. But it is not the reason priests violate boys and young man. If it was a woman the priest wanted he would seek out a lady in the parish or go elsewhere and find one. The priests who molest little boys or young men are obviously homosexuals. They would not be married even if they were allowed to marry. These are men attracted to their own gender. But they are homosexual pedophiles; men who not only suffer from a same sex attraction but who prey on children. There are pedophiles who molest girls, and those who violate children of both genders. But the scandals we are seeing in the Catholic Church usually involve the molestation of boys by homosexual pedophile priests.

People need to read their Bibles and believe the Word of God. Follow the teachings of the Holy Scriptures not what a religious organization says. Thousands have decided to do this and have found their way out of the darkness!

JUST BOBBIT THAT DAMN AVIOL. GAYS BECOME PRIESTS. PRIEST DON’T BECOME GAYS. THE GAYS ENTER THE PRIESTHOOD TO PREY ON THE VULNERABLE SOULS.PARENTS DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN BECOME ALTAR BOYS. THE CHURCH SHOULD PASS A LAW: ONLY ADULTS CAN BE ALTAR PEOPLE. SO, IF THE ALTAR HELPS WANT TO BULL WITH THE PRIEST THAT IS THEIR PROBLEM.BUT AS CHILDREN THE PRIESTS RAPE AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE INNOCENT ONES.

Wow… talk about generalizing. Funny though its a problem real common amongst denominations and other religions as well. What now must we do with those sex offenders married, single, straight and otherwise? How can we weed out the same flesh that leads us to demand that young ladies loose their virginity at an early age, that stresses the importance that people must be having sex or else, that common law unions are okay?

Until as Christians we clean up the entire house and not just the rooms we find too sullied, carpet, tile, CLOSET and all, I doubt we will be able to tackle the immoralities that plague our society.

Ye without sin cast the first stone and may GOD bless and guide us all.

All sex outside a Biblical marriage of a man and a woman is what the Bible calls fornication. This includes homosexuality which is sex between two men or two women.

Homosexuality is especially wrong for two reasons.

        (1) It is an assault on God’s model for marriage and His blueprint for human sexuality which is one man and one woman in a lifelong union until death parts them. (Matthew 19:4-6) (1 Corinthians 7:1-3)

        (2) It is against nature. (Romans 1:26,27)
