“Fransisco it is people like you who have Dominica the day it is. You have to remember that many of the worlds most prolific role models have themselves been in jail. Lets start with Jesus, Lets go on to Gandi, and many more. ”

Karl all of that in the quote are simply nonsensical garbage, rubbish! In the first place leave Jesus out of that hogwash, there is no comparisons!

Secondly Mahatma Gandhi was never a street thug, nor convicted for the smoking of crack cocaine, nor marijuana. Gandhi, and Nelson Mandela, were political victims, they are people who fought for the freedom of their nation from political tyrants!

In case you do not know Martin  Luther King our American Civil Right Leader adapted Gandhi’s methods in the sixties to fight racism and the brutality of Black people in America, remember all his peaceful demonstrations. Nelson Mandela took up arms to an oppressive apatite government.

They freed millions of people from political oppression, that is different…

Wondering if there are not foreign agents trying to block Dominica just for spite. And that some Dominicans at home and abroad are part of it. No matter what happens anywhere if it is bad someone has to slant it as a stigma against us. Why ? They say we are “last kakarat piece of rock ” We are not important and are not going anywhere so why don’t they just leave us alone in our malaway saw.
The first report I heard of this was someone saying that the man was a criminal from Dominica,( when he was enjoying success was an American). The reporter went on to explain that Dominica was a criminal country with high rate of murder because we had 7 murders this year . In the USA and Mexico they have 7 murders per second ( name two )
Dominicans should be aware of this conspiracy and keep our eyes opened.
I have been seeing so much negative on social media, and so much anger on radio directed at Dominica recently, I wonder why. What have we done to deserve this resentment &…

Hello and good afternoon my people. The guy is from the UK but his grand mother is from Dominica. This shouldn’t have any reflection on people born in Dominica but our citizens residing in America must be careful because this Trump administration is deporting people even for minor traffic law convictions like no insurance or inspection.

    Mr. St J.
You better,if your cas is valid. Why have a door in your house or apartment? because someone can easily brake and open. This is the same argument the Democrats are using.they are telling the president”You hate Hispanics, you are a racist, why not go after those who are coming in on planes and over staying.”
But do you know what they are reallytelling Trump,?

Go after those coming from the islands like Dominica,Jamaica,Antigua,TNT etcetera.
Because we don’t have the privilege to cross the South border.I am just throwing this out.I also we blacks will not see,we are too democrat

I hope he is not Dominican and, if he is Dominican I hope he is not deported because it will be HARD for someone who experienced the freedom of the US, to get deported to Dominica that is now just like Venezuela, thanks to Skerrit. No wonder Skerrit did not give birth to his children in Venezuela, Cuba, China or Russia because he knew what he was about to do to Dominica and knew we would be next in line for the US to help set free after they deliver Venezuela.

    Total shocker…
Dozed off on the couch and was awaken by a breaking news alert from CNN. I had to check my phone multiple times…thought I was dreaming.

Savage must have know is time was almost up. ICE has been cracking down for quite some time now. The risk of deportation surely crossed his mind in recent years. It’s becoming harder to remain in the US illegally. His cover would have probably got blown within a few years with all these higher standers being put in place for proof of identity. The Real ID Act goes into effect in less than 2 years so he would not have been able to board a plane or enter certain places without a Real ID compliant form of identification. He would have had to resort to using his passport which obviously won’t be a US passport.

I’m sure a lot of things are starting to make sense to his friends and associates. Things like why he was unable to go on tour or vacation outside the US.

There are a lot less famous people in Savage’s situation…

No wall built by the false Trumpet would’ve stopped him from being in America illegally 😀

He did not come from Mexico

  13. Francisco Etienne-Dods Telemaque

“21 Savage is a living, breathing example of that ol’ saying, “fake it til you make it” … at least according to ICE.

An ICE official told CNN on Sunday … “His whole public persona is false. He actually came to the U.S. from the U.K. as a teen and overstayed his visa.”

The arrest has totally shocked 21 Savage’s fans … who had NO CLUE about his British roots. We did some digging and to be fair, Sav has never claimed Atlanta as his birthplace. In multiple profiles on the rapper … media outlets have referred to him as being “from” Atlanta or say he “grew up” there.

That said, it sure doesn’t seem like he’s ever gone out of his way to correct any reports of him being an ATL native. 21 definitely reps Atlanta in his rhymes … and he’s told tales about getting expelled from an Atlanta school for bringing a gun to class.”

If he was born in Dominica, it would have said so in his passport!

“She said, “Mr Abraham-Joseph is a role model to the young people in the country, especially in Atlanta, and is actively working in the community leading programs to help underprivileged youths in financial literacy. ”

How can a convicted felon, one convicted on drudge charges be a role model to anyone!

Most young learn by example; what example is he teaching the underprivileged; yes he raps, he was nominated for an award; nevertheless his character is tainted by his criminal conviction, that makes him an undesirable role model in my opinion!

His lawyer said he is a role model to young people in the country, however; I never heard a song nor anything about him in the United States, until I read about him on DNO!

I want a thousand thumbs down on this one oui!

    Hahaahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Francisco Etienne-Dods Telemaque, Lets say you have joined Christianity and some issues come your way and you end up in a predicament. You are taken before the court and the start to blast you. wouldn’t your lawyer say that you are a changed man and you have left that life behind, you are now serving the lord and helping young children in sport and school fees.

The money you would have been spending now would it not be from proceeds of your past life etc.

Well the 21 Savages story is all to familiar.

      Just posting for a friend

Edwards, every lawyer defending a criminal always try to impress  judges and magistrates that their clients are impalpable; they all change for the better!

Sometimes the are lucky and their clients are treated with leniency, sometimes they get away with a slap on the wrist, and allow to walk. Many of the criminals soon as they get out returns to commit the same crimes and worst, even in Dominica.

Since you mentioned Christianity; be informed that it is written in the Bible that humans are not to contaminate their body by writing anything on their body. Here we have a man with a cross tattoo on his forehead, and other images on his neck and elsewhere.

Is that the type of image he presents to the youth according to his lawyer?

This guy might be an entertainer; most are into the drug culture, such people are a very bad example to the youths no matter to where they belong.

If the birth certificate is not fake: Good he’s not Dominican!

“Francisco Etienne-Dods Telemaque, Lets say you have joined Christianity and some issues come your way and you end up in a predicament. ”

So, Edwards let me finish this: This predicament is something self-imposed; people come to America, and overstay their Visa; nevertheless, their are ways to resolve such issues, and one of the ways he could have done that was to petition the immigration and naturalization services for permanent residence.

He could perhaps fall into a situation of the now debated “Dreamers” now debated in the congress that is assuming he was brought here as a kid by someone, if he attended school  here as he claimed; he could well qualify as a dreamer.

Nevertheless; if he was convicted because of illegal drugs he blew his chances, and it does not matter what his lawyer say he will be deported to England if that is his birth place. The guy is controversial, Dominica is mentioned, I wonder if his parent are Dominican born!

        Do you know?

You all should not make this type of judgement. Why can’t he be a role model? His past does not define him; he is helping his community and because of his past mistakes he can help youngsters to do better.
We all have families and these comments are not called for. Before you comment think of him as a member of your family.

I wonder if this story would be posted if it was not possible to slant it against Dominica, in an effort to give Dominica a bad name. There are many people in the Caribbean and elsewhere who are deported after serving jail time but we do not post their stories , so what is the real interest in this one.

@ Francisco, I fully agree with your comment, like you I was taken aback by what his lawyer said he was a role model to the young people of Atlanta, I thought to myself this lawyer is on something high very high.

Lets start with Jesus, Lets go on to Ghandi, and many more. I mean people change. people make mistakes, but people like you love hanging their mistakes over their heads like a constant reminder and and excuse to not allow them to progress in life. God forbid you or a loved one ever goes to jail or prison. Now regardless of this mans appearance and past, im sure there is some kind of good in him which can be used to make the world and his community a better place. Man you can say what you wish; however, I cannot value anybody with a criminal career a role model to me or any youth! Here you have a man who said in a song he was kicked out of School because he took a gun with him to class; should my young grandchildren listening to him take a gun with them to school too?

There are people who went to jail that we can consider role models; people such as the late Nelson Mandela; nevertheless, I would not consider Mugabe a role model: do some research you might discover the difference in the two. Now this is not a boast, but I believe I could be a role model, considering I came out of nowhere in the village of Wesley, attended College and University graduated with four scientific degrees.

I emphasized education my youngest daughter is now in law school followed by two of my granddaughters! I am am a good model to them.

Never smoke a joint, nor cigarette!
