Los Angeles County prosecutors reject Cosby sex charges

cosby

Los Angeles County prosecutors declined Wednesday to charge Bill Cosby with sexually abusing two teenagers in 1965 and 2008, citing time limits and a lack of evidence.

The decision comes about a week after Cosby, 78, was charged with drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2004 inside his home near Philadelphia — the first criminal case brought against him out of the torrent of allegations that destroyed his good-guy image as America’s Dad. His lawyers have called the charges in that case unjustified and said they expected Cosby to be exonerated.

“We are satisfied that the Los Angeles DA’s office fully and fairly evaluated all the facts and evidence, and came to the right conclusion in declining to file charges against Mr Cosby,” his attorney, Monique Pressley, said in a statement.

Dozens of women have accused Cosby of sex assault or attempted molestation in incidents dating back more than four decades.

So two charges were tossed out but what are they among so many?

Bill Crosby was one of a kind. This man referred to as “The nation’s Dad” had so much going for him. I watched him on T.V. years ago as a young person. His show had a certain quality about it you could feel. I would never dare say he is innocent or guilty. Like most of you I want a fair trial and hope justice will be done.

Through all of this we should let God speak to us. Position, success, and money do not give anybody a license to take advantage of another person. Sexual sin – fornication in its many forms – is especially deceptive. It is not only low lifers who get caught in this terrible web. People at the top with the most money fall the hardest because they have the furthest to fall. They think their money will buy them anything so they sometimes take chances with sin.

    Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.

In this era there is a lot of kiss and tell and scandal. Some people are not shy and ashamed about also exposing what they do in their private life and damaging the character of others.
I do think these women should be ashamed of themselves. They found themselves in his presence. Did he force them to come to him or with him? Did he lure them?
The problem with the Law is, they never ask this question. Those people supposedly went there voluntarily.
Well, let’s face it. What were they looking for? What did they want and what did they expect?
They were not innocent women who knew not what they were doing in his presence. They were in their right mind and knew very well why they found their way to him, alone in his presence.
If they voluntarily found their way to him and in a hotel, the case should be quashed.

No one deserves to be drugged and sexually assaulted! Most of them were young and fairly naive and did not expect to be placed in this situation. Do not blame the women and understand that 50 of them can’t all be wrong. This case is not about race. It is about sexual assault. Most of these women gained strength from the others to finally come forward. Just going on record as to what they experienced can help them to heal. For those of you who seem bent on supporting Mr. Cosby no matter what, and saying they are trying to bring him down because of race, I say you are sexist and if any of these women were your sisters, daughters or wives, you might have a different reaction. Most of the women in the case are not entitled to any compensation because of the statute of limitations but that is no reason for them not to come forward and tell their story. Mrs. Cosby was also aware of his ‘indiscretions’ and is now completely humiliated.

I am glad that you all an easily see through America’s dislike and racism on black people. Let me be honest. White America will always be racist toward black people. What we cant see is that Black people is the only race on earth who have a deep hatred to the accept success of another black person. They use all find of bad spirits to destroy your children, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives and any business you try be to be successful at. To this day it is obvious the hatred you have toward each other over politicians. So don’t look at America. Fix your dislike toward amongst yourselves.

are you people serious. stop making excuses for Mr. Cosby. the fact is we are not talking about one or two women. when you have that many women making the same accusations then there must be something to it. as the saying goes where there is smoke there is fire so let us not ignore that. if it was a regular person you guys would not be so quick to come to his defense . the fact that he is a celebrity does not mean that he is incapable of these acts. it is there in court documents that he was and has been in possession of sedatives for what purpose I would like to know. stop blaming everything on race and other things and see things for what they are. trust me something happened if not with all but some of these women.

There is an American security phrase, “If you see something, say something.” Well, I saw something – this nice looking lady so I said something, pssssssssiiit. Then she wants to charge me with sexual harassment. When I went to court I told the judge, I saw something so I say something. Judge said, “Not guilty.”

One of them resides in Toronto. She was certain he would be indicted and charged; probably imprisoned. She probably also thought she could collect an exorbitant sum of money from him. Money is their intention.
I think nothing much, if nothing at all about those women. They are opportunists. Famous and rich men must be careful with these women.
This reminds me, “Run Sampson run, Delilah’s on her way.”

Consider what they did to some of the priests. It is claimed some of those cases were 50 years old, more or less.
Those American judges of all, lawyers and some members of the public worldwide, as the Media encouraged it. They did not stand up for the Church.
Consider how much money the Church lost for payout, even closing some churches.
I stated it was all for money. One did it and many others jumped on the bandwagon to get their share.. Their attorneys made a mint from representing them.
God took note. Since He is patient, all involved will one day mete their just recompense.
The hypocrisy of these people, most of those governments recognize same sex relationships and legalize their so-called marriage.
Whenever I think of this, the thought comes to my mind: “People, those of you who are especially practicing Christians, practice your faith very well” for when these people die, they will pay the price before God and also on Judgment Day. God is good!
