Nelson Mandela is in a critical condition in hospital, officials said on Sunday, leaving millions of South Africans fearing the worst.

The 94-year-old former president has been hospitalised four times since December but this is by far the gravest report on his health.

Mandela was taken to a hospital in Pretoria just over two weeks ago with a recurring lung infection but was said to have rallied after a few days.

    Looks like Madiba is getting ready to kick the bucket and President Zuma is preparing the population for the inevitable bad news.

    I fear that there will be turmoil, further divisions and civil strife in South Africa once Madiba is gone. It seems that many South Africans are not happy but have been holding back out of respect for Madiba.

    Once he is no more then we really don’t know what will happen.

      Nay not just a Nation I dare to say the World!
      He goesdown in my History book asthe most Civilized Man of the millenium,I am talking about His reconciliation style instead of retaliation,His stepping down from the Presidency instead of holding on to power.Definitely not like the Kadaffis and Mugabies who liberate the People but become worse than the Colonizer.
      May that eternal Spiritual Being that inhabited that Mortal body we came to know as Nelson Mandela rise to the Spiritual Abode of the Supreme God and continue to exist there eternally in His association away from this temporay place of Birth ,Old Age ,Desease and Death

    Nelson Mandela is one of my heroes. These are the people that i look up to. People who have sacrificed do that change can come about. Mr. Mandela, you have secured your place in history. Your courage, your bravery, your determination to repeal the apartheid laws, you struggled, yet you never gave up. You kept hope alive, in the end, you became President. What a great man! Let the Almighty will be done! You were a chosen one and so Almighty will take care of you. I thank you for your contribution

    The struggle goes on, but we’ve come a long way, baby. Free the people. The Isreali Government has for many years now, briging their people from all parts of Europe and other parts of the world where they have been scattered. Black people need such Exodus back to our homeland Africa. I would jump on the first plane/ship.

    That would be a huge blow to the white people globally – to see all black people re-unite in our homeland AFRICA. That’s where we belong. I still feel like a stranger living out of Africa. Don’t you???

    By Allah if I had taken the reigns of government in South Africa in Mandela time I would send every single white person back to Holland (every man, woman, child) where they came from for the misery they put South Africans through and what they continue to suffer today.

    Today South Africans are in a worst condition, they are a broken people, many women don’t love who they are; they hate being “black” so they bleach their skins out of that self hate. It’s so sad, the men have been destroyed, the self hate and having no knowledge of self. Look at the crimes they commit, the same thing in America. In my view where there is this white supremacist rule nothing good comes out for black people and this is a fact.

      “I have walked that long road to freedom. I have tried not to falter;
      I have made missteps along the way. But I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on the distance I have come. But I can only rest for a moment, for with freedom come responsibilities, and I dare not linger, for my long walk is not ended.”

      Nelson the Great Mandella!

    no offence. mr Mandella has done well. He is 94 years with a long infection,the body can’t take all that stress especially in his age and all that he went through the 25 years he spent in jail. Please let the man leave in peace and stop stress the process.
