Simply the Truth April 29, 2014 “I state you are presumptuous and out of place.”
Simply the Truth; let us be serious about it now: what do you mean that the person is presumptuous, that person is right.

No so called pope or priest have any more authority over anything pertaining to God Jehovah and his Son Jesus Christ than the person has: For the Bible teaches in The Gospel According To John: 1:12

“But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name!”

Be mindful if we are given the power to become Sons of God; (and when the Bible say sons of God it also means women, the Word of God referring to man also mean women: why do we need a pope who might well be a homosexual to tell us he is praying for the world and is interceding on our behalf. We as sons of God have the right and power to go to God ourselves, seeking whatever we wish, be it healing for our body, praying for our loved ones, pertaining God for our blessings even wealth, I we do not need anyone to go to God on our behalf when we have the authority from him to approach him our self.

Jesus said no man cometh to the father but by me! As long as that person you claim to be presumptuous has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they have the power to become a son of God. If I am a Son of my father, why do I need some dumb so called pope or priest to go to my father for me when I have the authority to do so myself. The person is correct, they have even more authority than this man whom you revere, you had better be careful that you do not allow catholism to lead you to hell, I suggest you read the word of God for yourself hence you will find the truth and his truth will set you free from Catholism! Again let me advise you to do as God instructed us to do in 2 Timothy 2:15 where God told us to:

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

One of the reasons why he instructs us to study his word for ourselves, is so that we are able to divide his truth from the crap the Roman Catholics, and other false religion teaches. As far as I see, you are rejecting the truth, the true word of God, and revering the words of a bunch of homosexuals that will lead you into hell.

Wake up lady: it is not what these so called sinful men say, their best is like filthy rags in the site of God; human best is like filthy rags in the site of God, mine, yours, the pope, all the priest in Dominica our works, and goodness, and our religious belief outside the word of God, is like filthy rags to him, he said so in his Words; wake up. The Roman Catholic Church has no special pipeline to God which you I, nor anybody else does not have, they brained washed you into believing that the pope has some special connection with God, in private he might be praying to God to forgive him for all the sins he committed including the kidnapping of his own priest back there in his country, the was investigate for involving in many plots to overthrow the government in his country.

It is documented, great saint is he: Let me see how you are going to defend him from the documented allegations. The Roman Catholic Church are known to have given sanctuary to criminals mafia operative, involve in the murder of people; you do not even want me mention about money laundering, and the Banks they owned, giving bad mortgages to people, charging outrageous interest, and when people cannot pay they foreclose on their homes kicking mother, father, and baby’s in the street. You do not know you see, you just don’t know.

    Isaiah 38: 18-19

“For Sheol cannot thank You, death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your Truth. The living, the living man, he shall praise You, as I do this day. The father shall make known, Your Truth, to the children.”

My people of Dominica, the above passage is from King Hezekiah of ancient Israelites. Through the prophet Isaiah God had said to him, that he was going to die from a certain illness.

But Hezekiah did not want to die, and so he decided to pray to God, to keep him alive–there is much more than that passage above, but I wanted you to read carefully what Hezekiah said to God–the reason he wanted to remain alive.

I am repeating it for you just in case you did not pay attention, and so, Hezekiah says to God:

“For Sheol cannot thank You, death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth. The living, the living man, he shall praise You, as I do this day. The father shall make known Your truth to the children.

What Hezekiah is saying here, is that the dead is in their grave in a subconscious sleep–they know nothing and they can hear, see, and do nothing–just like a person who has passed out because of too much alcohol or a doze of bad drags; this is only my imagination, because I have seen that situation in people.

In death, we remain in that subconscious sleep, we have don to the dust of our physical creation, until the day of resurrection, when we will be called to face the Judgment Seat of God Almighty, our creator–redressed in a body that will never die–regardless of our hope in Eternity.

Hezekiah says it twice here: The living, the living, he shall praise you as I do. He also says to God: The father can make You known to the children. The nice thing is that God heard Hezekiah’s petition and He allowed the King 15 more years to live and reign over the Israelites–His chosen people at the time.

I am a born again Christian, thriving in the Life of Love in Spirit and Truth, I am saying no to death; but should I leave my body today–I will become silent and numb, until the day Jesus will call me back to Life–that is the resurrection.

The important thing is that I will go to my grave with the Living Hope–Salvation and Reconciliation to God Almighty, through my faith and the Blood of the Son, God Person in Love–Jesus Christ. I will be raised to live with Him in the Land of Paradise.

The choice is now! No big name, or title will do when I am in my grave–I probable will just want peace and quiet there.

But all I must do to exemplify our God of Love, must be done today, while I remain in the body. Don’t anyone give me no good name like “saint” when I am in the grave–regardless of how my saintliness was put on display while I was in the body.

This practice here with the Roman Catholic Church is just nonsense–the acts of futility that simply keep those who exist in the body, without the Spirit. But Jesus has warned us: It is the Spirit who gives Life! The flesh profits nothing! John 6; 63

Some of you go overboard in your comments, most of which are uncalled for and unwarranted. You never give the Catholic Church compliments but always criticize it and its devotions. You persecute it.
When it comes to matters of the Catholic faith, there are many critics who also do not look at themselves, their lives and their household which they appear to forget about and mind the business of the Catholic Church and its religious devotions. They think they know more than the Catholic Church. If you are not a member of this Church, you are in no position to criticize its devotions. You must have respect for it as you expect others to have respect for yours. You are not living according to God’s commands and his expectations.
What some of you do not know, godly practices as devotions of the Catholic Church are approved by God and mandated. It is the reason why the Catholic Church has proclaimed these holy Popes saints. God made them saints. The Catholic Church proclaimed them saints. This is what gets you all who are not members envious.
Well, you cannot change a thing. As I always say and I am convinced about that when you die, you will see the truth and your errors in criticizing the Catholic Church and speaking ill of it; everyone of you.
No one said that God will ask anyone about anyone. You have stated it according to your mentality. He will not ask you about your parents. He will ask your parents how well they brought you up. Did they bring you up in the faith and disciplined you accordingly. He will also ask you about yourself and how well you treated your parents and served him.
God knows our hearts, your heart much better than anyone else does. No one knows your heart better than God does; not even yourself.
If you sincerely love God – Our Lord Jesus Christ, you will have respect for the devotional practices of the Catholic Church, its religious teachings.
I am no fool and I am not deceived. This is where you offend God by not living up to His teachings, commands and expectations. It is quite evident in this writing and any other article pertaining to the Catholic Church, faith and devotions. Wait! The day will come when you will see the truth. You will be surprised. I hope it will not be to your eternal detriment.

I concur with your comments. John Paul II we love you! The echo in Toronto when he was last here in 2002 for the World Youth Day, “JP II we love you”!
The Sunday morning, where I was standing, I got a view of him as he passed in the Pope Mobile prior to the commencement of Holy Mass.
And oh how we love him. He coined the words in Latin, “Totus to us” in English, “Totally Yours.”
Dana of Ireland sang the song, “Totally yours” in Denver, USA when he visited there. She has a beautiful voice. Some of you may have heard her on EWTN. I have it on tape.

Totus to us, totally yours. The Rock and the Lamb, the Lord and the Man,
      Totus to us, Totally Yours.
And we will follow you. Yes, we will follow you, wherever you lead oh we believe your message is true… This is pertaining to Our Lord Jesus Christ.
What a holy Pope of our century! God bless his soul. Of course, God has always blest his soul. :) He is praying for us including the enemies of the Catholic Church that there will be Christian Unity.

On Television I saw people worshiping a couple of men who called themselves pope, talking about making someone a saint, I saw a minute ago someone have a glass container with a red liquid in it which they claim to be some dead man’s blood, he is to be declared a saint the more than a million people who are in Rome worshiping men rather than God unless they come to their senses, and realize that God is not involved in such nonsense, as many millions as they are I believe they are all destine for hell.

Here is what God said about the dead in the book of Ecclesiastes Chapter 9:4, 5, and 6:

“For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.”

So, what is the purpose for the tradition of these waste of time so called religious pope, and the false doctrines they preach. If according to the inspired word of God which came through The Preacher the son of David, king in Jerusalem, who was in reality King Solomon a Black king who God gave his inspired the words said a living dog is better than a dead lion, how on earth can religion incite, and instruct living humans to pray to the dead!

Something is wrong; the devil is in control of the Roman Catholic Church. And mother of truth, do not even bother to inform me that I am doomed because I am not; since I have the word of God on my side, to up hold itself. Look at this mess: they said one of the criteria for making one of the dead man a saint is his influencing of marriage.

They claim their church, religion, or what have you, dates back to two thousand years, and Peter was the first pope, nevertheless, we read in the Bible Peter, whom they claim to be their first pope was indeed a married man, he had a wife, and I suppose if he had a wife he must of had children,

I believe the reason they are dating their church back to two thousand years, is because of the time of Jesus coming and crucifixion, and where Jesus said to Peter, Upon this rock I will build my Church, two thousand years ago Churches had no name such as Catholic, Methodist, and all the rest. I got to cut it because I do not need to debate who are classified as saints, because I have done that many times in the past, but the fact remains all this ritual by these homosexuals in Rome, is nothing more than a satanic ritual which God has absolutely regard for.

Ponder on this all of you who believe that pope have authority to declare dead people saint; which you pray to.

“but the dead know not any thing.”

    Sad!

A religion not based upon the Bible, the Word of God, can make its own beliefs, and invent its own practices as it goes along.

Usually, a system like this changes in the way it does things over the passing of time. Through the centuries the RCC has changed its method of saint making. The qualifications for sainthood have varied, and the ritual itself has gone from almost no ritual to something elaborate.

Once somebody is sainted the faithful are of course encouraged to pray to the individual. This in spite of the fact the Bible tells us we are only told to pray to God Himself. (Matthew 6:9)

We are told to pray directly to God (Hebrews 4:16) and not to go through to any mediator except our Lord Jesus Christ. (John 14:6) (1 Timothy 2:5)

When we pray directly to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ the Father hears us. (John 15:16)

The word saint itself means a sanctified person. It means one who has been taken out of common circulation and set apart for the glory of God. In the Bible this applies to all the people of God in both the Old and New Testaments.

In the New Testament every true Christian is a saint. Unfortunately this does not apply to everybody who attends church or even every so called church member. A saint is a person who has received Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior. (John 1:11,12) ( Revelation 3:20) by trusting in what He did for them on the cross (1 Corinthians 15:2,4) (Romans 1:16) ALONE for their salvation, apart from any good works of their own. (Romans 4:1-5) (Romans 5:1) (Ephesians 2:8,9) (Titus 3:5,6)

In the New Testament it is obvious that every true believer (genuine Christian) is a saint. When the great Apostle Paul wrote his epistles (letters ) to the various churches of his day he addressed them to all the Christian members and called them “saints”.

    For example:

“TO ALL THAT ARE IN ROME, BELOVED OF GOD , CALLED TO BE SAINTS: GRACE TO YOU AND PEACE, FROM GOD OUR FATHER , AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.” (ROMANS 1:7)

“UNTO THE CHURCH OF GOD WHICH IS AT CORINTH, TO THEM THAT ARE SANCTIFIED in CHRIST JESUS, CALLED TO BE SAINTS, WITH ALL THAT IN EVERY PLACE CALL UPON THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD, BOTH THEIRS AND OURS.” (1 CORINTHIANS 1:2)

“PAUL, AN APOSTLE OF JESUS CHRIST BY THE WILL OF GOD TO THE SAINTS WHICH ARE AT EPHESUS, AND TO THE FAITHFUL IN CHRIST JESUS”. (EPHESUS 1:1)

“PAUL AND TIMOTHY, THE SERVANTS OF JESUS CHRIST, TO ALL THE SAINTS IN CHRIST JESUS WHICH ARE AT PHILIPPI WITH THE BISHOPS AND DEACONS:” (PHILIPPIANS 1:1)

“TO THE SAINTS AND FAIHFUL BRETHERN IN CHRIST WHICH ARE AT COLOSSAE: GRACE BE UNTO YOU AND PEACE, FROM GOD OUR FATHER AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. ” (COLOSSIANS 1:2)

It is obvious from these scriptures that all true Christians in the first century were “sanctified ones” or “saints”. There is no hint in the New Testament that Christ gave His apostles – not even Peter – any instructions on how to make saints. There was absolutely no saint making program in place during the first century and not until long afterwards.

The purpose of sainting dead people whose lives are believed to have exemplified the faith serves a purpose for the RCC. It attracts international attention and sends a wave of excitement among the membership around the world. It It distracts people’s interest away from negative news like the scandals and the Vatican bank issues. It revives devotion to the “saints” in general, and the activities at various shrines, at a time when devotion is burning low . It also strengthens the ties the Vatican has with certain nations and peoples when their commitment to the church has been lagging. It seems nothing increases the love and appreciation a people have for the pope and the church like having one of their own sainted! Its happening at a time in history when the Vatican knows the need for fanning the embers has never been greater. I have read in a major Canadian newspaper that John Paul 2 made more “saints” than ALL his predecessors put together. The two popes after him are moving in the same direction.

When a religious institution has so departed from the Bible and is not governed by the Holy Scriptures it is hard to know how much worse it will be before it ends. But end it will!

Today I say praise the The Lord; Amen!

In spite of the revelation above, there are those like the satanic influenced five who gave me the thumbs down who will defy the words above and accept the stupid Roman Catholic doctrine which will take them into the deepest pit in the lake of hell fire.; the word of men seems more important to them than what is written in the Bible.

Look at this: here is an example how satan dominates the mind of people who are of, and without God.

“Wonderful…..when a person does not understand or they are not trying to educate themselves, well to bad one has to have knowledge of what is going on – Love Paul.”(Love I).

Now such words in my opinion came from the thoughts of a fool, basically a living dead!

Now if that person had any bit of commonsense or educated as they think they are, rather than suggesting that I or anyone educate ourselves to the rubbish, the unscriptural satanic teaching, and rituals of the RCC, that person who I term an idiot might get a Bible and look up the scriptures you quoted and educated themselves in the Word of God, rather express their love for the satanic teachings emanating from the mouth of a pile of homosexuals dressed in red and white robes serving satan in his palace in Rome their life may be change dramatically for the better.

Why should I or anybody want to educate ourselves with nothing? It is nothing more than a ceremonious satanic ritual which God has not ordained, and has nothing to do with. And mind you people the scriptures Hill, has quoted, and those I have consistently quoted are all found in the Roman Catholic Bible, all they the Roman Catholics has to do is get hold of one of their own Bible, and if they read it, they will find it contradicts the teaching of all the (pops, and roman catholic priests).

One of the reason more than 90% of the people of Dominica are so poor, is because more than 90% of the people are Roman Catholics, now they pray to the dead in the form of saints everyday, the dead cannot hear them, hence they get no answers for what they pray for, you pray for money, a house or for healing, how is a dead pope, who went back to the dust from which he came or some nun ordained saint by a man filled with sin is going to hear you and grant your request; the Roman Catholic aids and abate poverty in Dominica!

Thank you for your kind words. You and I both get our share of bashing. It is good to receive positive comments that encourage us.

I find there is a great ignorance of the Word of God among our R.C. friends. A Jesuit priest told me when I was no more than 15 years old that the church was built upon Peter. I said the Bible tells us Christ is the foundation of the church.
He asked me where it said that. I reolied, 1

        Rev. Donald Hill (Continued) …

Sorry. I have been cut off twice before I could finish my comments. I expect both tries will eventually appear partly finished on the screen.

Anyway, when I told the priest the Bible said Christ is the foundation of the church he asked me where it said that in the Bible. I replied, in 1 Corinthians 3:11. OTHER FOUNDATION CAN NO MAN LAY, THAN THAT WHICH IS LAID, WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST.

It is so sad that millions of people are trusting their precious souls for eternity on what such men tell them with no questions asked. The only authority we have is the Word of God. If we do not have a knowledge and understanding of he Bible – the Word of God – we have absolutely nothing.

I appreciate that you base what you say on the scriptures when it comes to the gospel and our salvation. Thank you for your comments. To be honest, I find them interesting and intellectually stimulating.

Envy will not get you anywhere. As many heads there are it is as many opinions we will get. Not everything you people state is correct. You who established your churches long after the Catholic Church was established are by no means experts. They are not sanctioned by Our Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible was taken from the Catholic Church. You have interpreted it according to your mentality.
Much is not revealed to you because you are disobedient and stubborn. It is hidden from you and all others who are of the same opinion.
You have formed your own church and deviated and renounced the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church which Our Lord Jesus Christ established upon this earth, that there be but one flock and Christian unity. Those who are smart should know that this lack of unity will not accord people as you eternal salvation.
As St. Paul said, “Nothing defiled will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” Our Lord himself said, “Not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter His Kingdom.
The Pope(s) did not make them saints. God – The Blessed Trinity made them Saints. The celebration was conducted on earth as Heaven rejoiced for all to see as an example for also those who do not live in godliness. Their sacrificial works were pleasing to God therefore they are saints.
If you want to spiritually educate yourself and learn more, access Catholic Websites. There are many of them including the Vatican and EWTN Websites.
Keep denying and live in denial. Your mere words cannot change anything. God has ordained this to be. The truth will be revealed to the doubters and deniers on the inevitable day when you are called for your judgment.
The Lord is in control of His Catholic Church which will last until the end of time. The Lord approves of all its devotions and celebrations. They are not man-made, not established without His approval.
All other churches which came after the Catholic Church which He did not establish will become redundant prior to the end of time. Mark my words and wait, see and experience it in time.

wrong time to be made a saint, infarct No man can make a saint by a next man that’s impossible, because a saint is any body who repents from their sin and accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Savior of their lives, so all saved people are saints in Christ. And we are alive leaving and preaching the Gospel of salvation through the blood of Jesus.so long those fellars die now they are made saints much to late (DECIVING AND BEING DECEIVED).

      Yoland:

You are absolutely right because what you say is based solidly upon the Word of God.

We should pray daily for these dear people. For most of them their belief system is the only one they they have ever known. They think it is right because it is so BIG, BIG, BIG!

Because they don’t read their Bibles they don’t know that Jesus said:

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: For wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and MANY there be which go in thereat. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it.” (Matthew 7:13),14)

The BIGNESS that gives them the confidence they have in the R.C. system is the very thing that proves it is wrong!

There is a lot the Bible does not say and people as you do it. The Bible does not say to criticize another Church’s devotions. You have forgotten or ignore that Our Lord said to love one another as you love yourself. It entails to cease criticisms and spread evil propaganda of another’s religion.
The Catholic Church’s teachings is first pertaining to Our Lord Jesus Christ – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Are you too blind, deaf and sleeping to know that?
St. Paul said, “Tell people to stop disturbing the faith of others.”
Do you not know this is in Holy Scriptures? So much for you knowing and teaching Holy Scriptures.

Then live by His Word. Love God and love one another and cease criticizing the Catholic Church. You are not one, therefore leave it alone and mind our own business. You hypocrites will be fortunate if you make it to Heaven. There is no guarantee that those who left the Catholic Church will ever obtain eternal salvation. You are no closer to God.

As a Catholic, I am very proud of these two Popes esp. Pope John Paul. They deserve this Sainthood and I will seek intercession from them when I pray to God.

    • April 29, 2014

Please do not do this. Wherever these men are they would by highly offended if they knew you were praying to them.

True saints (which are all the people of God) in heaven, no matter how confused they were one earth, do not NOW believe in praying to any one other than God Himself. They are NOT now involved in the affairs of this earth life.

The Bible says THERE IS ONE GOD, AND ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MAN, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS. ( 1 Timothy 2:5)

We are to pray to God the Father according to Matthew 6:9.

If we have received Jesus Christ as our Savior we are cleansed from all our sins by His blood according 1 John 1:7. We can come BOLDLY to the throne of God according to Hebrews 4:16. This is because there is nothing to keep us apart. God has promised never to remember our sins against us in Hebrews 8:12. Because of this there is NOW no condemnation hanging over us according to John 5:24 and Romans 8:1.

Please, please READ and BELIEVE your Bible if you have one. If you do no have a Bible please get one.
It is a LAMP. It will show you the way out of the darkness into a peace, assurance, and certainty you never knew was possible. It will give you an unshakeable hope beyond death
the rulers of the present darkness do not want you to have.

gwaj, Depend and rely only upon the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved according to Acts 16:31 Close in on His free offer of mercy. Trust His blood alone for your salvation your salvation. I want to meet you in heaven. This applies to every other reader and commentator!

You are joking! They would be offended that we are praying to them? You are a joker! It is for this same reason they were proclaimed saints in addition to other saints of the Catholic Church. Their sainthood is not without reasons, for having served the Lord well during their lifetime. People prayed to them and were healed.
You know the story of St. Monica, the mother of St. Augustine? I have heard some pastors on TV comment positively about them. Why not you or are you ignorant of them?
As I have stated, you know nothing about what is transpiring in the Catholic Church and among its members. If you had viewed the canonization and intently, you would have heard about it. You refuse to read and also hear anything good about the Catholic Church therefore, you know nothing about it and remain in mortal and spiritual ignorance. God has blinded you and veiled your mind that you will know nothing.

Again your sentiments are that of an ignorant person!

I challenge you to quote to me a scripture where you found the word pope in the Bible!

I challenge you to quote a scripture where God gave any man, white man, Black man Indian man or any kind of man; people in human flesh the power to declare any other human being a saint, and instruct people to pray to them when they are dead!

Tell me how many times you have called out to a dead person, and you hear them answer you; if that ever happened, if you hear the dead answering or talking to you, you need to be in a asylum on perhaps Prozac or some other form of medication.

Saint’s are living live people who have accepted Jesus Christ, and worship him, and it does not matter to what religion you belong, as long as that religion is teaching the Word of God. And when I say religion, one needs to be careful because religion of itself is not Christianity.

Remember though Jesus said where two or three is gathered in his name he is in their midst of them. That is not a direct quote, but if you have a Bible look it up. If you pray to God Jehovah, through his Son Jesus Christ, you will become free from the dominance of false Roman Catholic teachings okay.

On the card of these two saintly Popes; one card with a picture on both sides since they were both canonized at the same time . If you did not get one; do not have one, here are the following prayers to them. Of course, you can always add your own.

Saint John XXIII, pray for peace and joy: Help us to follow your example of trust in God.

Saint John Paul II, pray for your children: Help us to have courage and faith always!

We are more familiar with St. John Paul II since he lived in our lifetime. Both Popes did much for the Catholic Church and we love them both. Today we also feel closer to St. John XXIII, knowing more about him.

Anyone can be a saint. They are not mere words which will assist us to obtain eternal salvation. It depends on the life we live, loving God and loving others, keeping the peace, unity, living in harmony with others, respecting their religious beliefs and practices and not causing division. These and more are the contributing factors to becoming a saint. Some appear to either overlook them or ignore those godly attributes as they claim to be godly.
Our Lord said: “By their fruits you will know them.” Our Lord knows our hearts and what is imbedded in them according to also what we state and do. We should know that He cannot be deceived.

“Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God” Luke 18: 18-19

Jesus said that to the young man, because they did not believe His claims to be the Son of God–in other words Jesus is saying, if you won’t accept that I am from the Father who is God Almighty, why are you calling Me “good” for only God is good and there is only “One God”

Remember that Jesus said to His disciples: “I am in the Father and the Father is in Me”

When Phillip said to Him, Lord show us the Father and it will be sufficient for us. Jesus said to Phillip: Have you been with Me for so long and now you say to Me: Show us the Father?

And then Jesus said to Phillip and the rest of His disciples: From now on, anyone who sees Me has seen the Father. Read the whole story at John 14

      Well said!
Saint John Paul II said: “Be not afraid! Set out into the deep!” He echoed the words of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
In Toronto, I once attended a Healing Mass. After the Mass which was celebrated by a visiting Bishop of India whose brother was the parish Priest at that Church, as soon as I was anointed with the Holy Oil I immediately was resting in the Spirit.
The message I received was: “Keep the Faith! Fear no one! Continue doing what you are doing! My Mother and I are with you! We bless you! I bless you in the Name of the Father!”
Wow! While in the Church, when I reflected on it I shed tears. What a message which I have not forgotten and when the opportunity presents itself I repeat it. I derived much courage and strength in my (our) faith.
When I related it to the person whom I was with, I could feel my face light up. I felt happy. The person said to me, “This has never happened to me.”
As I entered my place of residence and opened the door, I began humming the tune: “O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine. All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine.” I hummed this tune until I went to bed.
I attributed this message to be that some weeks prior to this Mass I was invited for dinner to celebrate someone’s birthday at a restaurant. After the dinner, we went to their home. As soon as I got there and sat down, I was lambasted with matters against the Catholic Church. Those people had left the Catholic Church and joined another church. Very calmy, I stood my ground and responded according to my faith and knowledge.
When I stated Holy Father, meaning Pope John Paul II, the man of the house said, “What Holy Father?” He was once a practicing Catholic. As I was leaving, I said to him, “You are a husband and father. You are head of your house. The Holy Father is the Head of the Catholic Church.” He did not respond. I still speak to them.
This goes to show, God has his eyes on us, whatever we do and say. He is fully aware of how the Catholic Church, its members are persecuted and what is stated against it by some of those who claim to be Christians, among them are once practicing Catholics who think they are more knowledgeable than us. They claim to love God but ignore that He has commanded us, to love one another. Therefore, they commit a grievous/mortal sin.
The truth has been revealed to those who have done so and who have predeceased us. Those who are presently persecuting us by their words, one day the truth will be revealed to them.
May God bless you and protect you always! Keep the faith! Fear no one!

While preparing for my first communion I was taught “The holy bible is the written word of God.” So to agree or disagree on this subject before me,I must go to the bible .We must first notice that, They were proclaimed saints of the Roman Catholic Church. If you know your bible this has nothing to do with God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are told there are no living saints. You must first die and perform miracles in order to be qualified to be a saint, and remember these are the words of mere mortal man.Now we would do well to listen to the word of God.

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His SAINTS” Psalm 116:15.

We can see these people were saints before their death. Again the the same book of Psalms,we read
“As for the saints who ARE on the earth. They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight Psalm 16:3.

In the new Testament Paul the Apostle wrote to a group of people who accepted Christ as their Saviour and he called them saints. If we pay close attention to the words we will see it was God who invited them to be His people and SANCTIFIED them in Christ or we can say God made them SAINTS.Man cannot make man saint.1 Corinthians 1:2
The vilest sinner who truly believes, that moment from Jesus a pardon receives. And then is separate, sanctified made holy or made a saint all 4 are the same.

    Thank you DNO.

And thank you J. J. John-Charles for your sane and scriptural words, along with the lines from that beautiful gospel hymn which I expect has brought many to Christ.

      I have been refreshed!

Please keep telling the old, old story of Jesus and His love for many have not heard. It is the sweetest story ever told.

Some say it is a myth and a fable But look! They have no joy.
And when death come they have no hope.

I have hope because at 72 yrs this July I can say when death comes the Lord Jesus will step between me and he last enemy. He has left a light burning for me in the valley of the shadow of death because He has already been there.
The Bible says He is my forerunner, my anchor within the veil
according to Hebrews 6:19,20. You see gentle reader, all my sins were laid upon Jesus as it says in Isaiah 53:6. If my sins could keep anybody out of heaven thy would have keep Jesus out! But He made it in :!: He is my forerunner. I am going in after Him. Until then He is my anchor inside the veil!

How can I not shout His praise :?:

When I was a little boy before I started going to school I would hear my mother singing around the house as she worked. I remember just two lines of an old hymn she sang:

If I could tell Him as I know Him,
I know you would make Him yours today.

When I came to know Him that is exactly how I felt. That is why I became an evangelist. People have tuned me out, cursed me out, and turned me out. But as long as God gives me breath I will tell the story.

Guy your understanding, and interpretation of the word of God is flawed, you are confused, God is not the author of confusion, so I advised you to study his word, not from an intellectual an stand point, but study and let the word reveal itself to you, because you are using the word to make comments when you do not understand what you have read!

Now let me take this further I prayed the Our Father Which Art In Heaven, everyday until I realize that the Our Father Prayer was not supposed to be how his disciples pray every day. You have to understand it before you start making confusing statements you see.

Only if they died trusting in the shed blood of Christ ALONE for their salvation are they even in heaven.

All the good works which they did and all of their charitable deeds would not buy them a minute in heaven.

        The old gospel hymn says

Nothing in my hand I bring,
Simply to thy cross I cling.

The Bible says “For by grace are ye saved, through faith: and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8,9)

Good works are important. They come after we are saved. They are the result of our appreciation for what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross. Works done for any other reason are like filthy rags in His sight. But God has planned it so that when we are born again the Holy Spirit working in us produces in us a life of righteousness filled with good works towards Him and others. Go back to Ephesians 2:8,9. Now after verse 9 read verse 10. “For we are HIS workmanship, created in Christ Jesus UNTO good works, which he hath ordained that we should walk in them.”

The Catholic Church teaches that we must work for our salvation. But if you ask a Catholic if he is saved he usually does not say yes. This is because they have no way of knowing if they have performed enough good works. Yet, the Bible says “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” (Titus 3:5,6.)

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.” (Acts 16:31)

Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill, International Evangelist.

  14. April 27, 2014

That is one of the reasons, most people think that those who are of the Roman Catholic Church are not Christians, for “the disciples were first called Christians at Antioch”: Says the apostle Luke, who was with Paul at the time: Act 11: 26

Since the Bible refers to “disciples” as those who accepted Jesus Christ and followed with His ways of Life, therefore a Christian of today should think of himself/herself as a “disciple” of Jesus Christ–regardless of the name of his or her Church–just as the People of Israel belonged to 12 sons of “Jacob”, whom God renamed “Israel”, each Tribe had a name of their own–like the Tribe of Judah or the Tribe of Benjamin, for example–together they were united as one people and was called “Israelites”, just like all the Churches today should be united as one to be called “Christians”.

And so, all Christians should be living, by faith, in the Spirit and doing the things of Love, which are the attitude and conducts of Jesus Christ–that Lifestyle of ours is known “Godliness” or “Saintliness” and for as long as we “exist in the body” throughout that Lifestyle–so that we might go to our grave with the “Living Hope” of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

At that time, Jesus will call us to the Life of Salvation and Reconciliation–that is Eternal Life, which we received by our steadfast and sincere faith in the Person of God, the Lord, Jesus Christ–it is a gift of God, not by works or the great names and titles–lest anyone should boast Ephesians 2: 8-9 That is the “fundamental” point here

In the resurrection we will receive the judgment of God, the Lord when we stand before His Judgment Seat–whatever that judgment is going to be, but based on our “Lifestyle” when we existed in the body. That Lifestyle in its positive stance would have to exemplify God’s Love, for the world to see, that demonstration cannot be seen through a dead person–not at all!

Therefore the Roman Catholic Church, as they wait for a person to pass away in the body, having been buried for years and years, then to honor them as saints–that is pure blasphemy in God’s judgment–most definitely.

Also they are telling the congregation that their existence in the body is meaningless, unless they belong to the hierarchy–but how many leaders those a Church need?

    • April 27, 2014

The apostle Paul teaches that there is only One Lord, One Faith, and One Baptism. Jesus is the Head of the Church and the Congregation is His Body–that should be so as we all should be aware of our Intimate Relationship with Him–that what Christianity means; that is why it concept cannot be compared to that of religion.

And yet the Roman Catholic Church recognize a human being whom they call “pope” as the “holy father”–all rules and regulations must be approved by him; or else there is none at all.

There is no relationship with God, for His rules and laws of Life, which has to be Love is not recognized by the authority and congregation of that Church.

So then the works of that Church is based solely on works, which they may recognize as “good works” but all of it is the practice of “religion”– Christianity must be based on God’s works which are motivated by Love–His very Person in Jesus Christ.

Good works can be done without Love, says the apostle Paul at. 1st Corinthians 13–that is definitely true! But the problem with us Christians–even if we are not Roman Catholics–we do not have the wisdom and understanding that comes to us by faith and the Power of Holy Spirit.

      • April 27, 2014

Here is a short story in the Bible pertaining to the dead body in God’s judgment This story stresses that we can only deal with God as we continue in the body–our destiny is complete the minute we pass away from the body.

That destiny, in God’s judgment, has to be our thrive in Love–Life with Jesus Christ–otherwise the whole our existence was futility and our reward is the torments of death in Eternity.

The Scripture says: “Then Jesus said to another man:
“Follow Me.” But the man said to Jesus, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.” Luke 9: 59-60

That saying of Jesus sounds a bit harsh, but what He really meant is that God has to be on the top of our list every minute of the day, day after day–and most significantly, while we remain in the body–the body which is dead cannot glorify our God of Life in Love

It was rude or downright disgusting, for that person to have decide that he will follow Jesus, but only after he had buried his dead father–when Jesus called him to follow Him–once again, God wants to be first on the list, but He will make sure that all the list is completed.

King Hezekiah of ancient Israelites, when the prophet Isaiah told him that he was going to die, according to God’s word, he prayed to God for his Life; here is part of what he said to God for the sake of allowing him to live a bit longer:

“For Sheol cannot thank You. Death cannot praise You; those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth. The living, the living man, he shall praise You, as I do this day. Isaiah 38: 18-19

God heard Hezekiah’s prayer and He allowed Hezekiah to live for 15 more years, wee! And that scripture is always in my mind for Life in the body with Jesus Christ, you see! Because God knows, and I know that I cannot do anything for Him when I am in the grave, eh! Good heavens!

So if they don’t think of honoring me by my works of Love while I can put them on display to the world for the glory of God, it is useless for me, when I am in the grave-meaningless to the very bit of dust, okay!

      • April 28, 2014

And finally, pertaining to the concepts of the Roman Catholic Church, what could many of us do, but to come out from among the congregation?

For it is useless to convince authority that Life is of Jesus Christ, by faith in Love, which is the “Personification” of Eternal Spirit, God Almighty, whom Jesus called Father–when He told us “I am in the Father and the Father is in Me” John 14: 11

And so they have chosen to remain in darkness and conformed to the rules and laws so the religion, which they invented. Today the Roman Catholic Church is just the same as ancient Israelites–God chosen people at the time–who were Jesus’ own “but they did not receive Him for they did not know Him” John 1: 11 –they too were conformed to religion–the rules and regulations of human wisdom and philosophy.

Today the “Holy Spirit” has no meaning in the existence of a Roman Catholic, for he and she is not being taught to apply faith–which is the “Spiritual Channel or Force” by which God deals with His chosen people.

The “Power” or “Influence” of Holy Spirit in the world today, is the “New Covenant” of God, the Lord, the promise which He made with His people–to teach them to know Him in all His nature and ways–but faith has to be that “channel” that must connect us to God, so that He can start His work of Salvation and Reconciliation in us and through us:

Here is the words of that New Covenant of God spoken His prophet Jeremiah:

A New Covenant 31: 31-34 “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a “new covenant” with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt. My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord.

Today, as Christians, we are both “Jews” and “Gentiles”. By the blood of Jesus Christ, God Almighty in Him, has made us all His people, we are known by the name called “Church”. Jesus is preparing the Church to present to Himself, as a bride is presented to her groom.

This kind of preparation must happen to us while we still remain in the body–when are in the grave it cannot work out. As said before our destiny ends at the minute we stop breathing and begin to turn blue.

We are free to make the choice of “Life” or “death” while are still in the body–God will not force us. But honoring dead people is not a practice that God ordained, it is even a disgusting practice to Him–for Jesus said God, the Lord, is not the God of the dead; this means we must go to our grave with the Life of Jesus Christ–which is Spirit, Mind, and Soul or Self. in harmony , to wait for the call of His resurrection. Amen!

It is the devil’s job to keep people feeling “happy” as they travel the broad and crowded road to hell. It is a delusional and a false security.

They are “happy” because they see, hear, and feel things that appeal to their natural senses.

As long as the devil can keep them “happy” they will think all is well and not be concerned about where they are going to spend eternity. Conviction will not seize their souls, and they will not cry out to God for mercy.

You must realize that you are lost and cannot save yourself.
You must trust the Lord Jesus and His death on the cross ALONE for your salvation and you place your faith in nothing but His shed blood. When you receive Christ as your Savior your delusional happiness will be replaced by true joy, a joy the world did not give and the world cannot take away.

This is a happiness that does not depend on circumstances. It is not produced by “sense” knowledge. It doesn’t come from what you see, hear, or feel in the natural realm of things. It is the result of the absolute certainty that you are going to heaven because Jesus died to atone for all your sins.

      It is written:

“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners. Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:6-8)

“…believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” (Acts 16:31)

God said it :!: You believe it :!: That settles it :!:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36)

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1)

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:,8,9)

Now these popes become saints? It is written when a soul accepts Jesus as their Lord and personal Saviour, they become a saint.

Now they shall begin to include them in their prayer. Saint Paul XXIII I beseech thee… etc etc :-D :-D :-D :-D
I laugh, but it is sad to see how people can be so gullible. It is written in the Word of God, The Bible, YET…

      • April 29, 2014

There seems to be two things these people do not read and know nothing about. (1 ) The Bible and (2 ) church history.

Church history: There have been popes who kept mistresses, and had illegitimate children. Some were perverts. Once there were two popes at the same time and each
excommunicate the other. One pope had Joan of Arc
declared a witch and burned at the stake. A pope after him
had her made a saint. She is now St. Joan of Arc. In Toronto there is a St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church. There was a case where a pope disagreed with a previous pope on a theological issue and declared him a heretic.

The two previous popes knew numerous priests were molesting little boys and covered it up, having the bishops move them to other parishes where they continued their criminal activities and destroyed many lives

Would the true church of Jesus – built upon St. Peter – guided by he Holy Spirit, – and kept safe by the intercession of St. Mary – behave this way :?: The answer is NO, a thousand times NO, NO, NO :!: But the Roman Catholic Church is NONE of these things. The true church is built upon Christ according to 1

If we could get Catholics to read the Bible and study church history (the side of church history the church does not want them to discover) what a revolution we would see :!:

Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. International Evangelist.

      Brain:

Your comments do not indicate any damage.

      You are absolutely right.

Many New Testament verses bear this out. Indeed IT IS WRITTEN :!:

The problem is millions of people don’t know and millions don’t care that IT IS WRITTEN. This make it easy for false religious leaders to take advantage of them and capture their minds. They dare not even think for themselves. This is the veil the devil  has placed over their eyes.

      The Bible says:

“…the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them that believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (2 Corinthians 4:4)

Saddest of all is the fact that because satan has blinded their minds these dear people cannot see the truth that on the cross – yes, the very cross they venerate – Christ paid the price IN FULL for their salvation. On the cross He cried IT IS FINISHED (John 19:30) Now salvation is a free gift. It cannot be earned! It cannot be bought! It can only be received by believing, that is, by faith, according to John 3:16, Romans 4:1-5, Romans 5:1, Ephesians 2:8,9, Titus 3:5, and 1 John 5:11-13. Those who do not understand and believe this truth think they must earn salvation by their own merits. But they never KNOW they are saved because they never KNOW when they have done ENOUGH good works.

NOTE: Good works are important. But they come AFTER we are saved, not BEFORE. They are the result of (a ) the motivation we have because we appreciate what Christ did for us as expressed in Romans 12:1,2 and (b) they are the outworking of the Holy Spirit within us. Read Ephesians 2:8,9 and then consider verse 10 also Philippians 1:6.

Eternal life (salvation) is a gift (Romans 6:23) But rewards are earned by our works after we receive the gift (1 Corinthians 3:11-15 with Revelation 22:12).

Continued… One line did not get completed in the letter before the one above. It should read

The true church is built upon Christ according 1 Corinthians 3:11.

  Whoever taught this to you, it is false teachings. It is this exact false teaching that caused some to be influenced and renounced Catholicism and join other churches.
Consider whatever sins you committed. Have you confessed them? Have you made penance and reparation to God? Do you live a godly life according to the Ten Commandments of God?
One does not merely read the Sinners’ Prayer and the Bible and assume they are forgiven. It takes working at. Pray to God and He will reveal this to you.
Read the lives of these Popes and especially Saint Pope John Paul II who lived in our time. Then read the lives of the other saints who lived in the ancient days. It is said, if we wish to become saints, read the lives of the saints.

They become saints as they continue to sin, for years to come as long as they live? You are wrongly taught.
Do you not know what St. Paul said: ‘Those who think they are standing secure be sure not to fall.”

Saints never say what you have stated. They are ever so godly, loving, kind and generous. Therefore, with that attitude it appears that you have failed. You would do well to imitate them who lived for the Lord; not a worldly life.
Lord, have mercy on you for you know not what you say.

Surrounded by a cloud of witnesses, let us run the race not only for the prize (Holy Scripture).
May those who come behind us, be a heritage of faithfulness to godly light.
Oh may those who come behind us find us faithful,
May the fire of our devotion light their way,
May the footprints that we live, inspire them to believe and the lives we live inspire them to obey,
Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful…

Then we could say that we are saints or have become saints. God will determine that based on the way we live and have lived.
