STORY OF INTEREST: `Plague doctor’ takes a curious journey

Butler. * Miami Herald photo

Thomas C. Butler’s flight itinerary stretched thousands of miles, from Saudi Arabia to London to Miami, to Puerto Rico and then Dominica.

But his travels were interrupted Thursday night when a federal security worker at Miami International Airport spotted a 12-inch metal canister with black screw tops at both ends, buried in the research scientist’s baggage.

@Sam Christian MD: Bravo Dr Christian, well said and with factual backup. There is a lot of heinous things that go on behind the scene and often played down in particular where people of colour are concerned. One of the usual cover-ups by the perpetrators is to say “oh don’t be ridiculous” only to be later exposed once the damage has been done.

Just like all those that have been silenced or dismissed as cranks for suggesting that AIDS was developed in a laboratory or that mobile phone technology is not entirely safe. I am 100% certain that history will prove all those cranks to be correct.

Being a crank myself I would suggest that the sudden increase of dengue throughout the Caribbean is not purely natural and wouldn’t be surprised if the pharmaceuticals are not involved with the hope of boosting revenues or the more sinister spin-off of warfare or destabilisation capabilities. Yes me is a crank!! But you only have to check your history and see for instance how the Japanese were using mosquitoes in germ warfare or the British in Zimbabwe with their use of Anthrax in their attempt to break Mugabe’s liberation struggle which didn’t work as well as they expected because of that great resilience that God has blessed the Black Man with. That is why they now use economics to destablise and misinformation to try and bring a man down. But look at Mugabe he still shows great resilience so we need to be very worried at to what they will try next because he hasn’t buckled.

Only God knows what the evils of this world is up to and this whole incident might be nothing or entirely benign. And although I would like to see Dominica advance further i feel it would be a dangerous move to wholly rely on others in particular when you consider their view of yourself. As a former US Defense Secretary once said about uppity third world countries, “once you have a nation by the balls it’s heart and it’s mind will follow” Such arrogance mind boggling disregard!!

As agents questioned him into Friday morning, their interest grew after they learned that he had been convicted in 2003 of shipping samples of plague bacteria to Tanzania and defrauding his former employer, Texas Tech University……………………….

in January 2003, he reported that 30 lab specimens of plague bacteria were missing from his Texas Tech laboratory. He called police, who contacted the FBI. The Bush administration, in the aftermath of 9/11 and anthrax scares in South Florida and elsewhere, made the case top priority.
Soon, Butler was suspected of lying about the vanished specimens. He was indicted on charges of smuggling vials of plague bacteria into the United States, exporting vials to Tanzania, lying to investigators, and receiving pay from pharmaceutical companies behind the back of his employer, Texas Tech……….

………………..authorities were so concerned about a potential security threat that they evacuated much of the airport Thursday night.

actually…..bad work on the part of the TSA officers!!! What this news media failed to report is the fact that the doctor did follow procedures by filling out and signing out whatever declarations forms he was supposed to in regards to this cannister…that was supposed to avoid this situation.. he passed through london and this was no problem because of the fact that he followed procedures…but instead in Miami these unexperienced TSA officers are the ones who are creating a false scare. London must be luaghing at them!!!

This is another good reminder of the worldwide renown of Ross University, that the institution can attract professionals of such status. Unlike cruise ships that may be here today and gone tomorrow, ‘our schools’ represent a tremendous resource for sustained capital injection into our economy.

We are known for our hospitality and we value to input of visitors. At the same time, this is a sober reminder that we have to let our technical people do all that is necessary to keep us safe. The message must be quite clear to all visitors that is is no two-bit banana republic.

We are a welcoming and democratic people but we are not stupid. We also know quite well how evil forces historically have used harmful germs to experiment on unsuspecting poor people:

We want no part of biological warfare. If there is even a hint of such activity, we will investigate fully and act decisively; make no mistake!

Read the article… they just found the canister to be strange.. but there was nothing in it at all to cause trouble. Glad it was sorted out. Good work on the part of the TSA workers.. this time it was a false alarm. No biggy really..

The greatest problem is that, as people continue to allow their human senses to control them, Satan continues to feed them with fleshly controls that motivate the process and production of human fear in their minds, and into their attitude and conducts.

The majority of people fail to understand that there is a Living God, of a Spiritual nature, who is in full control of our lives whether we decide to abide by this control or not.

But that is the problem, because of people’s lack of faith and trust in God, Satan’s fleshly fear causes them to take every single matter into their own hands. They think that they have power to know everything, and they believe they have the ability to fix everything.

The sad thing is that, because of their pride and haughtiness they humiliate and put down quite a few people whom God has chosen to do His work through them, even to the point of causing the rest of us to get mixed up in their nonsense conducts and attitude of human fear.

For example this man is a scientist, a research doctor who has done well in the past. Why would he be so foolish to jeopardize his name and his career? Why would the be so foolish to leave something that was destructive or harmful for authorities to discover among his travelling things? Who knows what God has planned to accomplished through that man?

But people do not know that there is a God of Love and Goodness, they are only looking for the works of the wicked, because they live the life of the wicked. So they quickly jump to the wicked conclusions.

Those people are the first ones to cry foul. Why? Because Satan keep making a fool out of them with his wicked lies and they bow down to those lies. A simple display of an object that is unfamiliar to them and they are bawling out bombs and dynamite. Even slowing down people from their day’s business because of evacuation and all of their empty ways of trying to solve things that they do not understand.

But I will stand with my God, for He is not a God of fear and confusion.

People of Dominica, all you need to do is continue with your attitude of reverend fear–meaning spiritual respect, gratitude, faithfulness, obedience, and humility–towards our God, in Jesus Christ.
Walk the Life of Love on a day to day basis with the belief of King David of old. He said: The Lord is my Light and my Salvation, of whom shall I fear? The Lord is the Strength of my Life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27: 1

David is simply telling us that when we allow God to take full control of our lives, there is nothing in this world that can cause us to become overwhelmed through fleshly fear; with God in control of our lives, there is no human being in this world that we should be afraid of. God works for the good of those who love him. Romans 8:31
