President-elect Donald Trump on Monday threatened to end the US thaw with Cuba unless Havana makes concessions on human rights and opening up its economy.
“If Cuba is unwilling to make a better deal for the Cuban people, the Cuban/American people and the US as a whole, I will terminate deal,” Trump said on Twitter.
Trump’s hard line came just a day after his senior advisors promised to strike a “better deal” with the communist-ruled island after former leader Fidel Castro’s death, without stating how this might affect the historic rapprochement begun under US President Barack Obama.
If Trump’s presidency should be seen as the 8th wonder of the world.
Fidel just die, all the wolves in sheeps clothing licking their chops. IF i was Raul Castro i would counter Trump and threaten to uphold the restrictions. America acts like they have a say as to whether they get to access Cuba or not. No you dont. Cuba has survives decades without America. America stands to benefit much more than Cuba, if Cuba opens its doors to them. Dont ever be fooled.

in the US approximately 135 million people votes. 94% of black women voted for Hillary, 53% of white women voted for Trump. Women on a whole make up the majority of registered voters in America. White American women voted Trump into office.

Now I am listening to Matt Peltier on Q95 interviewing the Cuban ambassador by phone. What a waste of time, is Matt foreign affairs expert, what does he expect the ambassador to say except that Fidel Castro was a good man. He does not even know that Fidel Castro will not have a funeral, his body was cremated straight away on saturday already. Honestly, Matt does be naive at times.

Yeah as opposed to the relics of a bygone era who think socialism and communism can work in our time. This is how the US should operate not the weak willed pandering to dictators and terrorists that the previous administration was involved in. These dictators are idealists so it would make sense that an ultimatum is a good way to make them at least think twice about their policies. Luckily one of them has already gone and the other will soon follow deus vult.
