US megachurch pastor arrested for assaulting daughter

Megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar was arrested in suburban Atlanta for an alleged assault on his 15-year-old daughter, police said Friday.

Deputies in Georgia’s Fayette County responded to a call about a domestic disturbance about 1 a.m. Friday. Dollar’s daughter said she argued with her father over attending a party, said Investigator Brent Rowan of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.

The daughter says the argument got physical.

Question. Adam, knowing that the creator had bestowed unto him a wife could have said. eve, eat your damn apple and be on your way… imma gonna ask god to make me a NEW wife…..

the first sin…..LOVE no other before the CREATOR…. love has been leading us to make “bad” decisions from the beginning of time. for love we even forget about SELF PRESERVATION.

Creflo Dollar is a pastor but he is still a man who is subject to the same pressures and temptations as you and I. As a pastor, the expectation is that he is spiritually more mature to recognize and deal with the trials of life that might trip up the average Joe or Joan. As a leader and mentor, the effectiveness and impact of his public message is tightly linked to his private conduct.

I am sure Creflo the pastor and father wishes he had handled the incident differently and saved himself the trip to the slammer as well as the unwanted negative publicity. I do hope that the tremendous support displayed by his congregation on Sunday is based on compassion for the frailty of man and woman and the understanding that all of us (pastor or not)are prone to slip and fall every now and then.

Keep this in mind, be fair, make the same comments and be compassionate when derogatory statements are made against bishops/priests.
Stating the truth, this pastor is known to Police and has a criminal record. Nothing can erase that. It is too late.

Sorry to hear about Creflo and his daughter. As a believer it is easy to try to MAKE our children serve God. It is the heart desire of every parent but as I have come to realise it is only by the power of the Holy Spirit. A trap was set up and he fell in it.
All should do was maybe let her go ask God to show her the ways of the world is wrong lock his door and go to bed. At 1.00am you aguin with your father to go to a party? You are 15 years old??

In the words of C.Dollar – the devil knows he MUST discredit the messenger in order to discredit the message. Watch out for a spectacular change in college station. God will triamph over all. What the enemy has meant for pastor Dollar’s evil, God will turn it around for good.

        Get your facts straight people

Dollar said in a 2007 interview with The Associated Press that he renounced his church salary, and his income only comes from personal investments, including a real estate residential property business and horse breeding company called Dollar Ranch. He’s also published more than 30 books, focusing mostly on family and life issues, including debt management.
He said he also sometimes got up to $100,000 for a single appearance on his packed schedule of speaking engagements.

You haven’t proven you know credo and please why is it necessary to know the child’s name to be informed? Please who ever ou re the city of college park hasn’t been improved by creflo and his church. College park improvement came after the crack down of the police and people started by homes in the rejuvenated historic area of the city. Also the fact that harts field inter national airport has improved its services and offered more business opportunities people who live in the area that’s what has helped college park. Not bloody creflo! how can he help when his hands are always stretched out for his supposed share? Up to now ou yet to prove one crap to me! Yes I have been to his church. And beside him all his congregants are materialistic heathens. You pastors pet are really funny!

just because he is a pastor doesnt mean he is not human. I have seen this happen time and time again in the church. despite this he is called of God, he is still a work in progress. As pastor on a big arena he has a reputation to uphold but he his error (as with many christians)is that we want to pass down salvation like it is an inheritance and we forget that it is the Holy Spirit that draws us to Christ. I am a christian and I have children and I have to respect that they need to have THEIR own relationship with God and that their salvation cannot be on my terms despite how much I love them and would like them to have a personal relationship with God. Just because it is not on our terms it doesnt mean that God is not at work. The Bible tells us to owe no man nothing but love. In fact as one who was brought up in the church and liberated from PEOPLE I have come to learn we judge people based on our own relationship with God, If we feel very holy then everyone else who is not on our level is going to hell! Thanks be to God for Jesus who sees us through the blood of Christ and does not see us as man does as we would not stand a chance to enter heaven!

It is just a shame to see, so many people criticizing the pastor, for disciplining his daughter, may be that was the wrong approach even people that profess themselves too be christians, bash on him so are you telling me all you have to do as a parent provide food, shelter, and clothing and you have no right to correct, and discipline your children, so in other words just get married and lived a simple life, LORD send help.

“Good morning Everyone, as a father I love my children and I always have their best interest at heart at all times, and I would never use my hand to ever cause bodily harm to my children. The facts in this case will be handled privately to further protect my children. My family thanks you for your prayers and continued support.

I do not doubt that he loves his daughter and that her actions caused him to get angry and to react in such a manner. It is easy for this to happen. The proof is that there are marks on his daughter. At the same time, I do hope that the Court realizes that it was not his intention to harm her and will give him some sort of punishment as community work. The daughter also needs to be obedient since she resides in her father’s home. Children do forget that.

This is more of the same nonsense, whether it’s “bit” or “hit.” The bible says it, therefore it must be correct? Really? Where is the individual thought and analysis in THAT? And why do you only follow the biblical verses you like, not the ones you don’t, like stoning disobedient children to death or executing women who aren’t virgin on their wedding nights?

Some of the kids are too well prepared to teach their parents new tricks. At some piont in time a parent should be allowed to discipline their kids with reasonabli measure until proven otherwise.
The system is too always ready to put our kids in Foster care thousands of miles away from home when the Foster parents themselves are criminals and child molesters.
This is one of the reasons we have children making children so often. Also the system does not care because they use the kids for war anyway.
We must wake up and shine a light through the system very soon.

” You all watch too much T.V. My children are all from the USA and they are educated, polite, and good Catholics.

So should we stereotype all Dominicans by the crack heads we see in your news papers and the stupes that respond on this web page? Best you all stay in Dominica America is not for you.”

Now here is the ignorance of some people which angers me and I know it angers even a horse, a four footed animal without commonsense!

Stupidity is the reason some of the idiots who believe they have so much to say are unable to identify themselves by name on DNO, because they know they will be laugh at by their friends and neighbors who read their nonsense.

I wonder what educated children, and been a Catholic has to do with Criflo Dollar a hypocrite, and a crime he perpetrated on his daughter?

Nothing in the quote above is relevant to the matter been discoursed. Some are blaming the Colonialist for the behavior of black people beating their children as animals, that is baloney okay; what we have experience is an African tradition!

That is something stright out of Africa, brought to the Americas, and the Caribbean during slavery.

Certainly the Colonial slave masters beat, and even hang slaves they thought were not productive on the plantations, however they did not beat their children as we find black people do; and mind you since that foolish person is talking about their children born in America, and try to impress people that they are ” better than, ” I want this person to realize that, none of my Children are born in America, they were brought here from the island of Antigua.

They entered junior high her, I never one day got a complain from a school teacher, nor a neighbor, they never got into trouble.

By the same token, many of the American born children who lived on the same block with my kids who are now grown, are practically all dead, some serving life in prison for heinous crimes they have committed.

My children graduate high school, and college; guess what?

One owns his own insurance agency, another operates a long distance trucking business, one of my daughters is a medical professional, one is still in collage, and working part time!

Does that make them any special?

    Absolutely not!

If anything I should get some credit for molding them in the way I have done, and keeping them out of trouble, and teaching them how to deal with peer pressure, and the people who revolve around them on both High School and Collage Campuses.

I should thank them for listening, and cooperating with me in the process.

The way I treated my children is based on the way my grandmother raised me, and believe you me I got some spanking from her, though not in a way that she could hurt me, I whip my older daughter once, and to this day she remembers, and came to the conclusion that was a deterrent, which helped her to change her thinking and behavior.

So, what is the big deal, and all of this nonsensical talk about watching Television, what does that have to do with one who profess to be a man of God, who beats and brutilize his child?

Because one build a ” mega church as some boast he did, that does not place him above the law, some of you need to understand that Church in America is basically a business, makes millions, that is why the FBI not too long ago investigated the Criflo Dollar for misappropriation of church funds (money).

Yes, to them it is all about money, and not so much about God and the Word of God!

By all means parents are supposed to discipline their children, nonetheless, it all depends on the methods used, brutality should not be part of the discipline regimen

The Crystal Cathedral in Orange County approximately 70 miles South of Los Angeles, made more than thirty million dollars per month, eventually, they went out of business, went into bankruptcy, the Roman Catholic just bought the building for fifteen million dollars:

Can you imagine a Church filing bankruptcy?

The Crystal Cathedral was also a mega church ran by Robert Shuller and his children, where is all the money they made; thirty million per month means approximately three hundred-sixty million dollars per year.

Church goes out of business when God is not in such churches!

This is interesting. So your children are all Catholics. I expect you are. Then if you are, cease writing your type of dialogue and lambasting people. Your words give you away as a non-Catholic Christian or an agnostic and atheist. Catholics are to speak their mind; speak their truth and try to be as docile in mannerisms and writing as they possibly could. So, we will know they are Christians by their love, words and mannerisms.

At 15 partying did not cross my mind. At 19 while going to school and holding down a full time job my club and partying phase was in full swing. At 21, my father read me the riot act. He told me that there cannot be two men under one roof and since he was paying the mortgage, I needed to go if I did not stop my late night partying. I was not ready to give up the clubs so I moved out for peace sake. At 51, I love my Dad dearly and hold no bad feelings for what he did. Simply put, it was the correct thing that any sensible, caring, loving and serious parent should do.

Like my Dad use to say, “you can’t burn the candle at both ends, girls and parties will always be there” I am truly thankful to God that none of my four children inherited my partying bones. I do know though, every family faces different challenges in raising children and keeping their family together. Lots of prayers, honest communication and unconditional love go a long way in helping to absorb the certain bumps in the road.

What these posts below show is not simply ignorance from the days of religious indoctrination by the colonists. No. What the posts below about how the girl deserved to be beaten show is that many Dominicans enjoy violence. They like BEING violent. Their child speaks up against them and they want to beat the child into a bloody submissive mess. Look at how emotional the posters below are. Some seem positively turned on, in all senses of the word, by the thought of beating children–not even their own children.

The asylums have excellent names for people who enjoy the idea of committing acts of violence like you people below.

You are thinking on the surface and not thinking correctly. Ask older people who excelled, who completed high school of all and who got degrees, they did get the whip at home and in school. When some of us reminisce, I also learned this of those who attended the Grammar School and who would be whipped by the Headmaster. Ask them who attended that school in that era.
There was no violence, hitting, bashing teachers on the head, injuring them and being rude to them in those days. They had great respect for their teachers, no exception in the other Dominica high schools. I attended the CHS. I was ever an obedient child. If I was not, I would be told to stay for detention and then when I went home, I would get a good reprimanding from especially my mother and then my father. My mother would say, “Wait until your father gets home.” :) I recall those days. Those children of yesteryear became responsible and respectable adults.
It appears to me that it is necessary to discipline children. A little beating when they are young will not harm them.
Wherever I go in this City of Toronto, I am told that I am a disciplined person. I conduct myself appropriately. I love the peaceful life and accord everyone same. This discipline has been an asset to me. I do speak up for what is just and right but I am not a radical. We will be happier for it. People should be able to detect this in every one. Children must be taught accordingly, first from their parents. Spare the rod, spoil the child.

I hope your children are saints and you never spanked them. I am not saying that anyone has to be violent with their children, but when they do bad things, people always blame their parents. But when the parents punish them, it is those very same people who speak negatively about the parents method of correction. The young lady went out to party, and because her father corrected her, she was vex, and so was her older sister. I am not sure if the father did what she said. (I do not support abuse either) They know how the American system works, so she used it to her full advantage. I would just put her out after that and let her fend for herself. Let her pay for her own schooling, and make certain that she never comes back under my roof, except she abides by my rules. I was a teenager too, so I know how teens want to have their own way.

Amongst our bloggers here reflects a stark reality in the low literacy and ignorance in Dominica.

Even parent has the right to admonish, ignore and beat their children. It is sad that some people are talking about tambarine (sp) whip. If a parent resorts to beating it should be light without bruising the skin. The child should never be beaten or stroke on the face or head. The face is the seat of beauty and constant hits to the head and face can cause neurological complications, for e.g, Muhammad Ali suffers from Parkisons’ disease (right click button on my laptop is not working for spell check).

The abuses of lashing a child with stones, pots and pan, guava whip etc are all extreme and abusive no wonder our people are so illiterate. No wonder they have an unhealthy self esteem and the many psychological complications that permeates the Dominican mind!

It appears that many of my fellow Kubulians are living in the neolithic age…I am reading these comments, and all I see are a bunch of people who are letting their emotion run away with them.

Based on many of the comments I am reading on this board, I guess the only way to discipline a child is to physically assault him/her. I guess when a parent pours hot water, or puts a child’s hand on a hot stove, for misbehaving, you all jump for for joy, right? One point for parent, zero for child. We were all children once, and we all did things that were not right sometimes…Had we not have parents who exercised common sense, some of us would be emotional scared as adults.

Our people were force-fed a barbaric set of beliefs by the colonists. Unfortunately, while they had centuries to think their way out of that nonsense, our people have been left poor, ignorant, and superstitious, and beating children like savages is one of the relics. We have a long way to go. I agree we need to discipline a child with a blow now and then, but not a violent one–spanking, maybe, or a slap at most under extreme circumstances. These people below are among the worst d/a has to offer.

Remember Hebrews 10:31 “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God” and Hebrews 12:6

@ Spendour – I concur with your comments. I’d like to add this: In the U.S., they do not believe in beating their children, because according to the “experts,” it causes children to become violent. Now, for the sake of discussion, lets assume that 99.8% of children in the U.S. haven’t been beaten; (1) how many violent acts involving guns have been committed in the U.S. annually? Oprah did a show a few years ago on gun violence in developed countries, and America was #1. (2) Look at the number of young people who are incarcerated in the U.S.? Why is that? Were they chastised and given an occasional whooping? Maybe not. They know the system and use it to their advantage/detriment. There is much talk about child abuse; what about parental abuse? A lot of that goes on with rebellious teens and the system does nothing to address this problem.

Amen Splendour, If he cannot rule over his own house how can he rule over God’s house…I agree 100 and 100% more…We have to remember the child is not 5 or 6 and does not understand the rule her father plays in the house and in her life… she knows and understand her fathers views, whether it be spiritually, emotionally, physically..why bring him to a point where she has to call the cops on her father… I do not know him but he has to stand and be the man, bread winner and husband for both home and church..We or I would say I blame the US Laws by telling or giving kids the Rights/privilege/ advantage to call the cops when there parents beat/correct NOT ABUSE them. If he so decide to tell her to leave his house and DON’T come back what are we to say he is wrong…
It is not for the Law to say how he should raise his child… Do they know how she eats and sleeps, they rather take people kids away from them and put them in foster care so at the end the Police will beat them and send them to jail…Pastor Dollar May the good Lord give you strength and courage and humility in dealing with your family issues and NOT the law or the Government. Families with teenagers need alot of prayer and support. I do not believe in spanking a teenager. After all she is no longer a child and so the mode of descipline must change. The rod is for a child. A teenager needs something different. Perhaps Pastor Dollar should have called the police to arrest the teenager and have her spend one night in the detention center for insubordination. Having said that, one will agree that the father has good intentions. This scenarion will teach both sides a lesson.

This is sad and very unfortunate. This is not an Eddie Long or Jimmy Swaggart or Jim and Tammy Faye story. This is not anything close to the stupidity of our whining, talking in tongues local married Pastor from Portsmouth. I am really sad about this. I feel that the Police should have handled this in a more civilized manner –not because Creflo is above the law but because of the nature of the case.

This is a man of God; the leader of a mega-church trying to protect his child from the negative influence of the devil- who goes to great lengths to attack a good man.

Based on the preliminary information that we have, the Pastor was acting as a good father who loves his daughter and seeking their best interest. I may be gullible but I believe Pastor Dollar that he did hurt his daughter in the way it is alleged. I hope that this is a gross exaggeration.

Actually, I am more concerned for the welfare of the child, who has allowed the devil to use her to get to her father. Imagine, there are so many unsolved kidnappings, rapes and murders in the US, it is strange how the police don’t always seem to rush to solve these crimes but how easy it is to arrest Ministers like Pastor Dollar. It took the police in Atlanta over 6 weeks- after a lot of protest to arrest a man who murdered a young black man in cold blood but they are quick to arrest the Pastor who allegedly was merely protecting his child and his family’s good name.

This case manifests the difficulties that parents are experience in the United States in raising their kids in the proper manner. Be careful what you ask for Dominicans, Already some kids feel that they have the right to call the police when we try to discipline them and bring them up in a godly manner. That is why we cannot simply emulate the lifestyle of the Americans in Dominica.

I pray that this is all a big misunderstanding and Pastor Dollar can continue to preach the Gospel.

Well, not just standing infront of the pulpit and preaching, bringing the dollars and hardly having time to spend with your kids is going to make them turn out better. He is lucky she did not run away with some good for nothing. And, worst yet beating her instead of talking with her is going to push her farther away from him. Parents , spend time with your kids, talk with them instead of to them. There is much more in those little brains than we think

  58. robin

I see everybody talking about american children bad but how you think those children getting like that? Their parents are the ones who’ve created a sense of entitlement and then when those children turn around and kick’em they want to fight back. If you train your child from young to respect you they will. Hitting a child doesn’t do anything for them. Those Dominicans on here talking about abusing kids physically aren’t much good parents at all. You all are in no position to be giving those americans any talk. Whilst those americans are easy and spoil their children rotten, dominican parents take their parenting to the extreme by abusing their kids. If you have to hit your child for them to learn a lesson then you got no business being a parent. There’s a lot of abuse that goes on in DA and people say my mom and dad was the best. Nope your mommy and daddy were sadly abusers. I see parents in DA hitting their kids with cocoyay whips, brooms and big 2×4 wood planks. Pinching those kids and ringing their ears. All you are abusers to the ultimate degree so please stop attacking the child and attack creflo. I’m sure he had 99.9% contribution to how is child is today. The man is greedy and entitled. As I said earlier he put ATM in his church so he can make sure his members contribute to support his pastoral lifestyle of living in big mcmansion and driving mercedes whilst his congregants hungry. He is the reason why his child like that!

Mr. Dollar We do understand.

I agree that his daughter is only 15 years old, and he has every right to discipline or counsel her, pertaining to the company she keeps, and how to maintain the attitude and conducts that is in harmony with what God wants from her. After all he is well known preacher of God’s Words.

But even so, I am sure that he has preached on the nature of Holy Spirit–two of those natures which are “endurance” and “self-control”

If a man like him, cannot reason with his daughter, who is only 15 years old, without physical violence against her, how can he stand on the pulpit and preach about “good relationship” between parents and child to his congregation.

That is the reason God promised, through the message of Jeremiah and other prophets of His, to write His laws on the heart of His chosen people and to put those laws in their mind; saying no longer will every man teach his neighbour and every man teach his brother, saying know the Lord; because He will cause everyone to know Him and His ways of Life–which are the traits of Love, by their own faith.

That promise of God was established in this world 50 days after the ascension of Jesus Christ, who told His disciples to stay in Jerusalem until they received the power from heaven, which He would send to them. That was more two thousand years ago.

That power is Holy Spirit, who connects or indwells people through conscience–from where He begins His works Salvation snd Life in those persons.

As parents, no matter what our status, our patience with our teenage children is a must. We cannot force them to be who we are–God predistined the Life they will live, and when it is time for God to start His work in them, it will happen accordingly.

A man like Creflo Dollar should know this very well, and to avoid such embarrassment in his Life. This is unbelievable!

If you cannot do the time do not commit the crime!

It is one thing to discipline a child, however, brutality of anyone is a crime in the United States.

Crifflo Dollar is on Television everyday telling people how they should conduct themselves in their daily life, last night I watched him preaching a sermon on unnatural sex, and function.

Funny there are so called preachers who dictates to people how they should conduct themselves, while at the same time thy live horrible life’s.

If this man was a true Christian, called by God, he would have kept in mind that the Word of God teaches ” train a child in the way it should go that when they grow up they will not depart from it.”

Note: the quote above is not a verbatim quote, nonetheless the direct command given to man is found in the Book of Proverbs.

If he was a true Christian he would have know that God authorized the spanking of a child only on that part of our back side called the gluteus!

When he put his hands around his daughters neck, and chocked her that to me was attempted murder. In the united States Choking someone constitutes a felony, he will be charged with a felony, if this is his first offense, the charges might be reduced to a high misdemeanor which could land him in jail for more than a 180 days!

      It would be deserving!

Can you imagine picking up a fifteen year old girl and slamming her to the ground and beating her with a shoe, the Criflow is a criminal, and must be treated as such!

From day one in school, it is mandatory for teachers to give children the hot line abuse number to call in the event they are abused by their parents. My children are all born on the island of Antigua, I brought them here, and from the first day they went to school they were given such number.

My junior came home and should it to me, so I said to him: okay do something bad wright now so that I can whip you, and call the number, when the police get here to arrest me, when I am going to jail you can go with the police and let them fins a home for you.

He simply threw the number in the trash bin!

Obey the laws of the land, that is what the Bible teaches, preacher, or no preacher if you break the law you are going to jail in America.

      @ Chris

Those in the Caribbean are doing likewise because they hear of it and read about it specifically through the international Media and Internet.
I do agree with you that they love calling the Police over practically nothing, even when their parents discipline them. I have heard many stories about that.
If my mother said we were not going to a party/dance, even after leaving high school, we dared not go. It would make no sense going to my father. He would ask, “What did your mother say?” We would know case closed. :) We just kept quiet and wished that the night would end. :)
Parents do protect their children from the inevitable. At that time children are not aware of that. When we grow older we (should) realize it. Disobedient children could test parents’ patience and anger.
I do find that the Police/Law is too quick to arrest parents because children telephone them. Many times, the children tell lies, saying, “I will call the Police”. It is not always child abuse. This is why today some parents are unable tot control and discipline their children because they are aware that the Law is on their side. Blame those governments for that. God will hold them responsible for that mess.

      @ 1979

I do not condone assault which means hitting anyone. In bygone years children did not call the Police for this especially if they were not injured.
Obviously, parents will get angry if their children refuse to obey them. If the children are underage the parents are responsible for them and should be able to discipline and nurture them appropriately. If they are of adult age, as over 18?), then they should be allowed to go out. The parents cannot harness them but the parents still reserve the right to offer advice of warning. If they are under the parents’ roof and they support them and pay tuition for them, children should have the sense to respect and obey their parents. If they do not want to obey them, then they should find their own place to live. Do you know those words: “Tough Love?” In some cases, parents must exercise them.

we are not reptiles J&T and by nature some of us have a tendency to be overprotective. it is after all our GENETIC MATERIAL, isn’t it?? people take legal action over even less….a copyright infringement of intellectual material can result in fines up to 1 million. personally I would rather my mother smack me in the face. we are at a place now where we really place so little value on the life of a HUMAN…. how really can you blame a parent knowing that their lil precious that they took care of from fetus to 18 yrs of age. an 18 year investment of time and money, blood sweat and tears….smh….hommy im sorry if ur mom no longer considers you her BABY… if that’s what we are heading to perhaps its best that kids start sending out applications as soon as they leave the delivery room…. how sad, but it is reality from your perspective, why put in the effort???

not all steel is tempered the same my friend, people are different. and not everyone is able to cope with when placed in the exact same situation. that is the natural order of things. I think if you haven’t been brought to the precipice sometimes by those you love then you have exercised a certain level of detachment and thus, some would say you have not really loved……. this is the way god planned it… unfortunately none of us are perfect. some folks would turn their backs and give up on a wayward child and some would die trying to steer that child on the “good” path. many attest that had it not been for their parents ready to break their hands and legs they would have gone astray… but I guess you would have to be the judge wouldn’t you???

Because the system is designed that way. This man recently told me that her 15 year old daughter told him “I want you to hit me so I can call police for you”. He never even looked at her.

When the kids are wayward they blame the parents. When parents try to correct them, they lock them up. How sad.

It is not only American children but Canadian ones and also others in other big countries. This is why some people say it is not worth it having children for who is the boss.

  75. Waitukubuli-original

Teachers are afraid of students – on top of that when a parent-teacher conference is called the parents “salaying” the teachers in the presence of the children. Most dominicans were raised under whips “back in the days” and children were so respectfull.

The days of being at home before cock crow at 6pm are over. These kids dress like “prostitutes” on the streets with piercings and tattoos all over their bodies and they know the law is “on their side” so they provoke their parents and get saved “by a call”. But later will be greater.

If you give your children a tap they label that child abuse. The system likes to lock up children in detention centers because they get funding for such programs. So the more kids they have the more funding they get from the feds. The ratio of Kids being released to that being admitted is 1:5. So they create laws to make sure they always have “customers”. Talking about communism clothed in democratic cloaks.

  76. June 8, 2012

Spear the rod spoil the child, kids now a days to like to do what they want, they do not want to listen to their parents
Them kids in the USA, Canada, UK before their parent talk to them etc their fist move is to call the police, even in school at an early age they teach them to call on their parent, this is sad who knows maybe she had her date with her boyfriend and he put the brakes on her so she did not like it and things escalated

That is true. I heard a case about that and there are more cases. The Police, the principals and the teachers are too quick to believe those children. They never believe the parents.
We are really in a dilemma of some disobedient children and the government is too encouraging. May God help me to write my book(s) about this and others. Even the governments need to learn a lesson.

What gets me angry is that you are a sinful person and you are making derogatory statements about priests who have done you nothing.
Whatever you are trying to prove you cannot prove a thing. Your life must be one sinful one, as God knows. Who are you to make such statements? You are possessed by the devil.
In addition, all priests are not alike. What if I were to tell you that you are like all drug addicts, other criminals and murderers, would you like it?
Anonymous, watch your words for you will condemn yourself. The tables turn and all too frequently when you least expect it. Keep this in mind. Some of you are so foolish. It is as if Satan owns your souls. Why else would you make such a statement and bring this up in an article which has absolutely nothing to do with priests?
God is taking note of your words. Are you aware that you could condemn yourself to Hell by persecuting the Catholic Church and the Priests? Think twice in future when you make such a statement. God has a way of instantaneously punishing people like you. It happens and frequently. You could also die in your sleep or in an accident. You could also contract a disease which could eat up your body, your insides and you could die from it. Do you think that God is joking? He is not pleased when people speak ill of His Church and His Priests. I am warning you and others! You are one foolish person who must be bitter and who lack love.

        @ JUST SAYING

This is worth a commentary. Some of you love repeating what you read and wickedly making derogatory comments but you do not think beyond. There are men/women who have several children out of wedlock with other men and married ones at that who do not see their sin but they will attack the bishops/priests. Hypocrites! You are not fair and just people. You never blame the women who go after the consecrated ones. You never consider that women approached them; that they did not approach the women. And if they approached the women, those women should have the godliness and common sense that they are consecrated people and should refuse this type of friendship. There is such a word and, of saying: “NO!”
What caused Bishops and Priests to sin? I bet that on many occasions women are responsible for them sinning. It takes two to start a conversation; it takes two to quarrel; it takes two to fight; it takes two to get involved. It takes two to consent.
There are women who approach priests and will not leave them alone. Some of them pursue them wherever they may be, even overseas.
Men in the secular world should know how men are weak of spirit. Women should also know that. Men are married and they enter into a relationship with a woman. Some also separated from their wives, co-habit with those women; some divorce their wives and marry those women and have children with them. Those marriages outside the Church are not valid and recognized in the eyes of God. Therefore, they are living in sin. People who live in sin until they die will go to Hell.
Some of those children are in homes with one parent. Sometimes this is a cause of child-poverty. Why do you not write about that? Is this not also a scandal in the world and a scandal in the eyes of God? Of course it is! God knows their sins but you prefer not to address this terrible, sinful issue which also affects the family, the children and the world in general. They have greatly sinned against God.
Why single them out and attack the Catholic Church, Its Bishops and Priests?
The bishops/priests are not ordinary men. They are God’s consecrated people – set apart. They made a vow to God which must be kept.
You know the saying, “What God has joined together, let no man (woman)put asunder – separate.” This also goes for married people.
Common sense should inform women and practicing Christians at that never to get involved with bishops/priests. If they speak to them or go to them for godly advice and realize that they are getting closer with them, they should immediately cease personal contact with them. Why keep returning and to be with them in private? This is cause for temptation.
Satan is a detractor and destroyer of souls. Satan knows the importance of those consecrated ones in the world. Satan knows how God loves them and wants them in His Church. Satan will do anything to tempt them and to put temptation in the path.
It is too bad that women have not been taught and/or informed that it is a greater sin to allow themselves to be in a relationship with God’s consecrated bishops/priests.
If a bishop/priest wants to opt out of his consecrated duties, he has a free mind to do so. It is said that God gave us a free mind and He will never touch that free mind. We will submit to Him voluntarily. He will never force us to do so. This is to prove our love to Him. I have always stated that it is that same free mind which will either save us or condemn us.
Our first love is to God. Our first responsibility is to God. It is not to man/woman. Women must realize this and stay clear of them.
You know the story of Adam and Eve in the Book of Genesis. You know the story of Samson and Delilah and the song by Tom Jones, “Run Samson run, Delilah’s on her way.”
I urge women, some of whom may have loving tendencies for God’s consecrated men to think twice prior to entering into a relationship with them, even though they may approach them. They must keep in mind that they are “Bishops and Priests” and they should keep their distance in that manner.
I am further stating that a punishment await those women who go after them; who allow themselves to keep this type of close company/relationship with them; who say that they are in love in them and who marry them. Such a marriage, be it that they appear to be happy are not genuinely happy ones. When they die God will reveal their error to them. For taking them away from their consecrated duties and the Catholic Church, they may pay a dear price for all eternity.
Let us respect the Bishops and Priests and realize that this situation is not always (only)caused by them but because of the influence of the enemy of our souls, Satan and the women, tempted by Satan who, themselves are weak of spirit and are responsible for this scandal in the Church. Women are very much the cause of this and are to be blamed.
Why can they not find other men? Surely, there are many men in the world. Why go after our Bishops and Priests? Shame on them! Woe to them when they die and on Judgment Day.
God is not blind, deaf and sleeping. He has taken good note of who was responsible for the bishops/priests entering into a relationship with women and vacating their consecrated duties. This, too, will be revealed to all of you who are too quick to publish/print, lambaste and make derogatory statements against the Catholic Church and the bishops/priests. You have evil hearts, possessed by Satan. God will take care of you in time. As I have stated, one day, God will help me to also publish my book(s).

    • Francisco Telemaque
      June 8, 2012

You know you need to remember that some men are born Eunocks, God however never told anyone who preach his word to remain calibers !

Celibacy was never in God plan, that is why he instructed us to be fruitful, and multiply

Celibacy is something the Roman Catholic so called pope imposed on those who worship him as some god!

Peter whom the roman catholic believe was their first pope, was indeed a married man, and I can prove that by referring you that part of scripture which reads ” when Jesus came to the house of Peter mother-in-law.”

Now tell me how can you have a mother-in-law if you are not married; and all those people who are talking about the enemy got in and all that, be informed that just because a man call himself a preacher, that does not mean they are protected by God.

Remember this part of scripture which states; in that day when they ask Jesus didn’t I drive out demons in your name?

Jesus answer will be yes, but I know you not!

Food for thought: many are called but few are chosen, perhaps if the Roman Catholic priest continued to marry, there would not be so many of them practicing homosexuality, and a good majority of them still go out and have sex, even committing adultery which produced children in their affair.

It happened in Dominica when I was a child growing up, there was a priest in the village of wesley, who had a son in the village of Vieille Case. There are so many cases here in California, and the rest of the United States.

I experience that in Europe also.

So what difference would it make if he was Roman Catholic, Methodist, or what have you?

It is in human nature to behave in the way he behaved, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God!

Just because people are called pastures and all sort of names does not make them anything special, for by their fruits we shall know them.

      Francisco Etienne-Dods Telemaque

      • Justice and Truth
        June 11, 2012

Telemaque, you are not a sinless person. There are many parents, as men who did not fulfill their marriage vows. Some, emotionally and physically hurt their wives. Their wives were very strong to endure that, on occasion insults and shouting and not go insane. They were a bad example to their children and others who knew them.
Those as you who are in the secular world should keep in mind their sinfulness. They go to church, pray and they continue to sin. Who are they are to find faults and accuse others of sins? Are they not all in it, sinning, one way or the other? This is why we should pray for people whether bishops, priests or pastors and pray for ourselves. Those who lambaste bishops/priests of all and generalizing that they are one and the same, do not possess basic common sense. They bash them while they continue in their sinful ways. They should be ashamed of themselves. Some have no respect for their wives or girlfriends. I could cite more examples. As I have stated, if, with the help of God I write my book, I will be more explicit.

The world has more divorced people than it has priests who sinned. Therefore, when you make such a statement, put on your thinking cap because you are being narrow-minded and biased. The world needs priests and the world needs parents. If there are no children, as the older ones die, the world cannot continue. The priests will have no one to preach to. They too will die. This will be the end of the world. Children are needed to continue the plan of God in the world.

It is a learning process about the happenings in the world. They all form their churches to make money and to live off the avails of their followers. They do not care if they are poor or not. They must have that tithe of ten per cent. So what do you know?

I would not give you thumbs down. I gave you thumbs up. I know what those pastors are up to, getting rich, luxurious mansions and cars, etc. This is surprising. An ATM machine should never be installed in a church. He is ensuring that if people forget to bring their money, they could withdraw any amount from their account to give to him. This is why it is called US megachurch. I will simply say that God is not pleased.
Once in a while, when I switch from a TV program, I happen to view some non-Catholic religious programs and all they talk about is money and giving, saying that God will bless them and multiply their money for giving. Those are not genuine churches. I simply tune off. On that inevitable day, God will repay them all for this in the form of eternal punishment.
