Woman to pay fines after being accused of spraying breast milk on sheriff’s deputies in Ohio

An Ohio woman accused of spraying sheriff’s deputies with breast milk has been sentenced to two years of probation.

Thirty-year-old Stephanie Robinette of Westerville pleaded guilty last month to charges of assault and obstruction of official business.

She was sentenced Monday in Delaware Municipal Court and ordered to pay $200 in fines on top of court costs.

Robinette was arrested June 25 by deputies responding to a domestic dispute.

Sheriff’s officials in central Ohio’s Delaware County say she wouldn’t cooperate when deputies tried to remove her from a car. They say she told them she was a breast-feeding mother and then exposed part of her chest, spraying them with milk.

A message left Monday with Robinette’s attorney wasn’t immediately returned. He had previously said his client was embarrassed and humiliated.

What she did is funny indeed but she was wrong. There are some people who have a bad temper and cannot control it. She appears to be one of them.
Those who disrespect the Police and harm them in anyway specifically while they are fulfilling their duties will pay the price.
Whenever I see the Police be it in a Mall and they are close enough to me I say hello and speak to them. I also state, “It is good to see you Officers.” Reason being, the idlers and loiterers, those who may try to commit crimes as shop-lifting and those gun-totting men of all will behave themselves. In the event of an altercation and other crimes, they are right there. I do feel somewhat protected.
The stories are many. One evening I was crossing the street. I had right of way to cross at the lights. A Police patrol car with two Policemen in it was approaching from the opposite direction and had to stop at the lights to give me right of way to cross. It looked to me that they were about to turn while I was crossing; just speculating. I put up my hand up, smiled and made the sign, “Slow-down!” They laughed. A smile goes a long way. Oh yes! I love to tease them too but in a nice way, depending on the circumstances.
Whenever I hear a Police, a fire and an ambulance siren I get out of the way. That is the Law. We are to give them precedent for an emergency. In fact whenever I hear a siren it makes me nervous. Immediately I stop and look around to see how far away they are. At that time they do travel at a fast pace.
Police must perform their obligations appropriately. The public must have respect for the Police. This does not mean that we should not speak up for fairness and justice but we are to give them due respect at all times. You will find that the Police will get along with the people and vice versa. It also depends on our demeanor towards them.
