His Excellency Mr. Kamalesh Sharma, Secretary General of the Commonwealth Secretariat will pay an official visit to the Commonwealth of Dominica on Friday, June 17, 2011.
On this visit the Secretary General will meet Honourable Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit where they will discuss the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and the emerging priorities.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit will also brief the Secretary General on Dominica’s priorities and issues of concern before the finalization of the CHOGM agenda.
His Excellency Sharma will also pay courtesies calls on His Excellency the President, Dr. Nicholas J.O. Liverpool, Honourable Speaker of the House of Assembly Alix Boyd-Knights and the Honourable Leader of the Opposition Hector John.
A brief visit to the Kalinago Barana Auté will form part of the Secretary General’s one day visit to Dominica.
