Lest we forget. November 3rd is the day Christopher Columbus discovered Dominica which, in those days, was called Discovery Day and why today Dominica is celebrating this day which became National Day and later Independence Day.
I thought LIAT would provide Dominicans and other passengers who visit Dominica with better service and not delayed ones or no show with its airline.
Since Dominica is one of the major contributors, LIAT should keep this in mind and provide satisfactory service to its nationals. This would be greatly appreciated.
LIAT, in this regard, you can do better, can’t you?

Empty words with NO meaning. This congratulatory message feels more like an insult to us than anything else. I mean if Liat really cared about us and our 36th independence, why not announce a special to fly to Dominica just for the independence? Why not do away with your direct flight from San Juan to Dominica after the independence? Why do away with night landing after the independence? Instead our gift from you was the opposite just around the eve of independence as flights to Dominica got more expensive, direct flight stopped, and no more scheduled night landing. You got your 8 million dollars from us and to expose us and our backward thinking government, you sent us this message. Shame on Skerrit for making us the official laughingstock of the Caribbean!

I wish to thank you, Mr. David Evans for your kind sentiments. However , I wish you would honestly answer some questions. The Prime Minister of Dominica, informed us that Dominica would make available US $8000 to LIAT in two payments, I need to know if this promise has been kept. Second, I understood LIAT is considering the termination of night landing to Dominica, can you confirm or deny.
