I am following updates from most of the CARICOM countries (Jamaica to Trinidad and Tobago) and Dominica is the only country/island that is having health press briefings with no opportunity for the press to asked questions. So here is a first again for Dominica SMDH. If you doubt me google the briefings from the other islands and see for yourselves. I know the reason for that – whereas the experts in our sister countries are allowed to speak freely to the situation it is obvious the same is not necessarily true in Dominica. In Dominica the briefings are either done by prepared script and most of the time prepared by someone other than the presenter. I know if given the opportunity they can do better example Dr. Esprit’s presentation recently. She in fact set the bar for other presenters to follow including Skerrit , whose presentations has been purely unprofessional to say the least compared to that done by PM Rowley, Mia Motley etc. check https://youtu.be//FErSbv-3Aq4

Thanks, never occurred to you that “Thanks” is a theme for a calypso also and other theatrical themes, I wonder who the hell allowed you to duplicate that word hahaha!!! but when people like do not read and do research that is what happens, people will always have the last laugh Secondly your response has no substance so will not waste MORE time on you.

So true. DOMINICAN are not knowledgeable enough about this virus. So therefore whatever the Heads say we agree. All they are saying is lockdown, social distances and mask. NOTHINHG is said about how we can become or we are already immune to this virus. Please share the video of DEBUNKING THE NARRATIVE BY PROF. DOLORIS CAHILL.

St Lucia is the first country in the Eastern Caribbean and CARICOM to report 100% recovery from Covid-19!
St. Lucia’s government is the first government in the Caribbean to announce a 75% pay cut for cabinet members.
Congratulations to our hard working health team ( excluding Dr McIntyre) for being professional and committed to the well-being of Dominicans, despite a slave master like dictator, who thinks all they deserve is 000%

I was getting really concerned because every-time we got the opportunity we were quick to boast to say that we were first in that and in this; as if we were in a competition of some sort. Suffice it to say many thanks to the front line workers who continue to work diligently, unselfishly and making sacrifices for the better of our society. Its amazing that those who are in authority tried to ridicule our nurses and police officers when they asked for better working conditions and wages are now having all kinds of praise and good things to say about them. They discontinued transportation for the hard working nurses, the police men had to resort to matching around Roseau to demand better wages and working conditions, on both counts certain nurses and police officers were victimized: so it is amazing to hear those same politicians playing as if nothing like that happened and that all front line workers were always there favorites- hypocrites. Big up d front line workers still!
