Local Christian minister to host worship and dance event

Minister Ebony Charles Vigilant, Dominica’s Nation leader for Eagles International Training Institute has once again organized a worship production under the theme “Qadosh-Ascend,” which comprises different activities for the entire weekend.

The event will feature international and regional guests as well as various worship and dance ministries in Dominica and will be held from May 31st – June 2nd, 2019.

The planned activities scheduled for the weekend include a Qadosh Fine Arts Evening at the People’s Pentecostal Church on  May 31st, an island tour for nationals and non-nationals on June 1st and Qadosh Sunday Morning Service at the Wesley Pentecostal Church at 10 am on June 2nd.

Vigilant says the event and the name Qadosh were revealed to her during prayer and fasting. (Qadosh (Leviticus 20:7-33), The Hebrew word Qadosh by definition means Holy and Separated.)

She says the name Qadosh is most appropriate for this event as “the Lord is calling the bride of Christ to a place of sanctification and holiness before him. That place where our faces are turned towards him as our main source of strength and the ultimate provider.”

Vigilant believes that Qadosh also creates unity and has positively influenced persons involved as well those attending the event in the past.

She said that this year, the stage for the event has been broadened as the founders of Eagles Ministry, Drs Chris and Pamela Hardy will be present at the event.

Minister Ebony Charles-Vigilant has been trained and licensed by the parent organization Eagles International Training Institute (EITI).  EITI was founded by Apostle Dr. Pamela Hardy in 2005; it was the first training program of its kind in the United States. EITI is a fully accredited Institute under Trans. World Accrediting Commission International.

There are currently 4 licensed ministers in Dominica. They are Ebony Vigilant, Jaqueline Colaire, Alana Sabaroche and Sherese Jury-Florent with others in training.

The Qadosh event will involve people from ages 3 and above of both genders in dancing, singing, choral speech, mime and more from around Dominica, the Caribbean and the USA.

According to Minister Charles-Vigilant, it promises to be a powerful and impactful production and the public is invited to attend.

If the lady was talking about drinking rum and about “sewo” there wouldn’t be as many negative comments. Let God be the judge. If the lady is not genuine God will take care of that, but she’s to be complemented and supported for seeking to advance the word of God.
DOMINICA SURELY NEEDS IT MORE THAN EVER.

What an anointed event it was last year. Blessings on you Christa for staging this event for FREE! It sure takes a lot of planning and coordinating putting it together. May the Lord of Hosts be magnified at this event. I cover you under the blood of Jesus.

Black people have been fooled for years into the belief of needing a white saviour to fulfill their needs. Religion is a moral plague in our society. Let’s free ourselves and let’s build the world we can see and make our children’s life better.

The devil came to kill, to steal and to destroy.
But Jesus came to give life in abundance.
Some people like Satan , some people like Jesus.
But I want Jesus to save my dying soul!
Good job organizers. Keep the fire burning.

    Hi Ebs,

Love you darling. I pray your success. Nevermind the unkind words of those who oppose you. So many negative and ungodly events and activities are being held without much if any objection. Since all you seek to do is glorify God, do so with His blessing. At the end of the day, those who oppose your work for God are not opposing you but God. Just pray for them that their eyes and hearts will be opened to Him.

    All the best sister

Hello, May GOD bless you Ebony and your ministry. For those who said that Jesus teach, yes He did but He also called some preachers, teachers, pastors and apostle.
The thing is that to criticize someone saying it’s about money, and that they are deceiving people. The day is coming when all men will stand before God to give an account, and the same words that comes out of the mouth He will judge us for.
So the best thing is to get to know God, and it’s free to the public. I did not see a price on there. Salvation is free.
There is a song by Andrea Crouch, “Tell them even if they don’t believe you, just tell them, tell them that I love them and I came to let them know.
Keep doing what you are doing Ebony, because it’s only what we do for Christ will last. Keep praying for those who don’t see the light. May GOD use you for His glory, in worship and it dance. I pray that souls will be saved in this event.

It’s amazing how negative some people can be, first off, it’s a free event, secondly if it’s not your cup of tee then don’t pay it no mind. Ebony has been doing dance ministry since she was about 6-7yrs old and one thing I can be sure of, all those that are being negative she has never asked you all for a cent. Embrace what God is doing in a young person celebrate with them enjoy the blessings that flow, and have a wonder time, Stop Bashing.

IF u can’t you will be wasting our time :!:

Dominica needs to be taught not preach :!:

Just another scheme to extract money from the pockets of Dominicans who can ill afford it.
Stay clear of these people who promise you salvation. They are only after your money.

Don’t let the free trial period fool you. They are using that to recruit people. This is no different than the free sample Costco gives away. The free samples are what they use to get you to buy the product. Don’t be fooled by anything thing that is free. There is always an ulterior motive behind those freebies.

False prophets. I myself have realized the profitability is preaching and being in the church. It is tax free money. VAT free money. Why do you think all the televangelists like to have their big mega churches and big events, because it makes them millionaires. I respect your hustle. But remember what Jesus did to the hustlers in the temple? He turned their tables over and beat them for doing so in the name of God in His Father’s House.

I personally cannot respect these people who about that life. Yes spirituality is important, but its too much of a farce with these wannabe’s. The selling of God should never be righteous.

    • May 26, 2019

@time has told “But remember what Jesus did to the hustlers in the temple? He turned their tables over and beat them for doing so in the name of God in His Father’s House”.

This message from the intended scripture above has nothing to do with the “coming event” You do not know what you are saying

Singing and dancing–according to its theme– is part of worship to God; the people at the Temple were not worshiping God, they were using its venue to make money–selling animals, and changing money to buy the same.

All in all the people had changed the Temple grounds into a material market or merchants practice; Jesus could not tolerate that behavior–because the Temple of God was made to be a Holy place.

Jesus wants us to stop judging others because we do not care to participate in their functions. Right or wrong, He wants us to leave the judging to Him; that is why He cautioned us: “Judge not so that you may not be judged”

it has to do with the selling of God. Jesus never demanded any money for his teachings. Televangelists and many so called gosphel artists and prophets all sell GOD. singing and dancing is fine. But when i ask you to pay me so that you can worship, that is selling of God.

        • Eby

There is no payment. The event is free . No admission, no tickets. Praying that you come to experience it for urself.

if i have to pay you for me to worship then what is it then? selling of God. Jesus never asked for any money when he was saving you and me. He could have charged then after he did his miracles. but he didnt.

What is dance ministry? Is that something in the Bible?

        • time has told
          May 27, 2019

they does just make their own stuff up as they go along. Praise and worship team is just the choir and the band, etc. The dance ministry is probably those who like to dance every time they hear a beat. So they put all of them in a group to maybe dance for the congregation to show their “talent”. Church is like a big fete now under the guise of religion. But everyone knows thats where them holy holys does be hooking up.

    • Francisco Etienne-Dods Telemaque
      May 26, 2019

Cameron, I think I know who you are, but you had better be careful what you support, otherwise you might find yourself on the  side of the devil rather than God.

There is no place in the Bible where Jesus Christ ordained a dance Ministry!

We know in a time of joy King David did a dance in celebration of something to God; nevertheless you cannot present a single scripture where God told anybody they are ordained to dance; in the street or any place.

Boy, it is perching the Word of God that matters.”

” For in vane they worship me.”

If you are a pastor   as you claim, your duty is to teach and preach thus said the Lord out of the Bible, anything you preach that is not found in the Bible is not of God but a satanic philosophy of the devil!

And since there is no place in the Bible where God told anyone go out and dance to him, one must conclude you supporting something demonic!

      • Proud Dance Minister
        May 27, 2019

Sir. Why are you so bothered about persons choosing to minister to people in dance ? Genuine question. People express themselves in different ways. Some people sing, some shout, some cry, some clap, some DANCE, others even go out of their way and write lengthy , unnecessary comments on DNO. Just because you only know of a single scripture verse which mentions dance, doesn’t mean that its the ONLY one that exists.
Refer to Psalms 149:3. Dance is a form of PRAISE. A praise that you certainly will not hinder because of your fail attempt at being analytical and biblically versed.
I honestly pray that God opens your mind to greater understanding. And when he does, I will be DANCING victoriously and joyfully on your behalf ! Just like King David ! God bless.

        May 28, 2019

That in itself sounds dumb. Who wrote the Bible? Who revised the Bible to suit their needs? How many versions of the Bible are there. Who has the original Bible version? God is in everyone of us. We can preach from ourselves. The Bible is just a guide which many take to believe as the fact without understanding much of it, but only based on perception. I can preach from outside of the bible. and you cannot stop me.
