A new charitable community service-oriented organization has been formed by a group of police officers from the communities of Goodwill, Tarish Pit, Yampiece, Pottersville and environs called PACE (Police Assisting Communities to Excel) with the aim of assisting vulnerable persons and building a stronger relationship with members of their communities.
On Saturday, September 3, 2022, PACE initiated its community service activities in the area during a friendly small goal football match at Tarish Pit which the group organized between the Police Sports Club football team and ACS Pottersville Tarish United. Tarish United won 2-0 in a penalty kick-out after the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
During this event, two pre-school students, Neveah Baptiste and Renesme Darius of Yampiece, were awarded with uniforms, school supplies, school bags and shoes, and a full year’s tuition to attend the Yampiece Preschool.
Community Policing consultant, Mr. Ainsworth Irish, handed over the school supplies to the students and commended PACE for this great initiative geared at building good relations and trust within the community of Tarish Pit and environs.
PACE is currently in the process of assisting a third student in attending preschool.

When these officers begin to agitate for changes from within the scandal ridden Force, then you would have earned the respect and adoration you seek.
You can’t use unjustifiable force against me; falsely arrest me; place me in an unsanitary cell on a concrete floor to sleep; and expect me to shower you with accolades.
This kind gesture cannot absolve you from the unthinkable atrocities you have committed against law abiding citizens.
Those of you sanctimonious ‘sympathisers’ don’t come with your annoying statement about not all police officers are bad. Why is it that not one of them ever voice as much as one word against the brutality meted out to innocent women and the general population?
These people are just used to keep one perpetually enraged despot in power. They come out armed to the teeth for the most benign protest to hurt and maim.

School starts at 08 00 hrs and ends at 13.00 hrs.One supporter of UWP was walking on the street when she saw children leaving school at 12.00 hrs.One UWP supporter said to another supporter”they leaving school early today man”?the other UWP replied”Maybe today is half day”I am glad the police are working to eradicate this level of stupidity common among supporters of UWP.
I just say very well done to the Police department, that’s a headache that the patents can out to the side.

Actually, I was one who was and still is against any form of brutality against anyone. You seem to have a chip on your shoulder sir, I suggest spending time in nature, getting grounded, walking away from politics for a few days, centering yourself, and realizing that all political sides are just the other face of the same coin. Citizens are the pieces that the elite play chess with, rise above, and may the universe grant you peace. Also, it was not our citizens who bombarded Salsbury, those were foreign soldiers but I don’t hear you or any of those who constantly crying down with no actions behind it that we should hold them or their commanding officers accountable. Instead of setting up PACE these guys should be looking to find criminals. After all, that’s what they are being paid for. But just in case they believe that they caught all criminals in Dominica, it’s not true. How about the kidnapper/killer of Kenisha Etienne. PACE is just another propaganda stunt for Skerrit, to put these guys in a better light. They lost a lot of credibility in the last 20 years. Dominicans, how about some critical thinking for once?
