Still a head scratcher why Tasha P made it instead of Trendsetter and Shadow Flow. She always seems to find favor with the judges.
The time has come to change the format to allow a total of 20 calypsonians to go up against the reigning monarch in the finals. This will make for a better show. The idea of having the calypsonians sing two songs, almost guarantee that the second song will be poor and many times, the artists would forget their second song. Time for change!
Ahh yes!!! Our Diaporan heritage is ever present with Karessah looking like a younger version of the Mighty Sparrow while Checko resembles legendary American multi-sport superstar Bo Jackson.
On a more serious and relevant note, All the best to every contestant in a very strong Final field. Glad to see the Ladies with four in the finals and getting their due props.
Nacheal- Dream killer was by far the best song that clearly articulated all the problems that we have in Dominican, but unfortunately she changed her bit last night and that unfortunately killed her dream. I’m quite sure that many of us are disappointed because like I said she had the strongest message that really touched the cry of all Dominicans regardless of our political views.
