Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has expressed sadness at the passing of Project Director of Montreal Management Consultants Est. (MMCE), Christopher Timmins.
MMCE is at the heart of Dominica’s Housing Programme having entered into a partnership with the government to construct houses and other facilities with revenue obtained under a specially dispensed housing option of the Citizenship By Investment Programme.
MMCE announced in a statement sent to DNO today that Timmins died on Saturday, December 12, 2020.
“This is truly a great loss for MMCE and to the community as a whole,” MMCE stated. “Chris’ dedication to the company and knowledge of the industry has contributed significantly to our company’s success. We will remember Chris fondly and how extraordinary a person he was.”
In his statement, issued today, the Prime Minister affirmed, “without fear of contradiction,” that Chris’ presence was felt throughout the entire island.
“To some, he was an essential cog in the wheel of this country’s ongoing housing and health care development but for many, including myself, he was a friend whose lasting legacy will be cherished throughout Dominica for generations to come,” Skerrit remarked.
He concluded, “On behalf of the government and people of the Commonwealth of Dominica, I extend my sympathies to the management and staff of MMCE and to Chris’ family and loved ones for their profound loss. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
That funeral seems hasty. MMC does have enough money to fly that man’s body to his own country and have a proper autopsy. Why the rush.

! Suspected cause of death? Is our local police capable of investigating this “SUDDEN DEATH”? If memory serves me well Roosie and Pierro also died suddenly and up to now no real answers. When people know a little too much and the boat begins to rock rather violently things like this happens MIRACULOUSLY and investigations are blocked. Sorry for the deceased’s family. It is never a cause for rejoicing to lose a loved one. Mr. Timmins was privy to many secrets, sensitive information through his direct, one-on-one dealings with Roosevelt Skerrit, wo did not explain the circumstances or location of his death. This also made Mr. Timmins position vulnerable and there will be suspicion in certain quarters and probably crocodile tears in others. After all, dead man tell no tales!

You hear Roosevelt talking crap about his death is felt over the whole island; that is only in Roosevelt’s mind; you need to understand, such people are brought into Dominica for no other purpose but money. They receive, and kickbacks are received by some political hierarchy!
