Well, I see nothing wrong with maintaining an effective flow of traffic during the event, except the same policy also be employed when any other political party holds a meeting.

I mean, is it not the same traffic policy being employed when there is a cricket game at monument of stupidity – built so close to a flood prone area, scratch my head – which should have been built at a location outside of Roseau, that would have prevented the traffic mayhem during the period?

Power depends entirely upon the acceptability or rejection by the people, over whom that said power is going to be exercised!

Two dueling political events same day around the same time. Why? The incumbent regime tries everything in their power to stymie the support and strength of the Blue Tidal Wave that will drown them out of government. The difference between the two political parties are extreme. One party (UWP)espouses sensible and practical policies to reenergize the infirm economy while the other (DLP) engages in vitriol, character assassination, corruption and falsehoods solely for the purpose of holding on to power. Two things the DLP has done very very well for the last nineteen (19) years. They have created an insane amount of wealth in cash and property for themselves while managing to impoverish the country. The last thing Dominica needs is a plutocratic system of government. At the next polls, vote your conscience, vote for transparency and accountability, vote for servant leadership, vote for building your own homes, vote for livable wages, vote for financial security, vote for UWP.

They’ll write out the words of the meeting for you to read? You can’t hear, “The speech”, then what you coming Bayfront and do?

      You didn’t miss much!

While the rest of the world is moving closer to compassion DA is moving faster towards hatred and exclusion. A hearing impaired person expresses interest in an important political event and someone responds with “what you coming Bayfront and do?” SMH! Then we’ll question why these groups hold so much awareness activities and we’ll laugh when these people say they feel excluded in day-to-day life.

DNO – I think you should plan to start providing a type out (either on-screen or as a separate document) for future speeches. I know this maybe can’t happen soon, but it will go a long way for people like me who appreciate businesses attempting to be more inclusive.

ADMIN: Thank you for your feedback. This is something we would like to implement.
