The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) has laid to rest one of its own.
Police Corporal Kerwin Matthew, who was attached to the Dominica Coast Guard died suddenly a few weeks ago after complaining that he was feeling unwell.
On Saturday August 9, after the viewing at police headquarters, his body journeyed in a flag draped coffin to Portsmouth for the funeral and burial.
Rest in peace corporal matthew,we were good friends and served together honorably, with courage, bravery and distinction, travel well my brother to the outer plains of this hemisphere.you were a good man.

I find officially the funeral wasnt well attended… The govt stayed away… I wonder why…
DNO…The body was not driven to Portsmouth. It was transported via sea on one of the Coast Guard boats. Continue to rest in perfect peace Kerwin.
