MRD plans major event

Sam Raphael is MRD's spokesperson

Dominica News Online has learned that the newly formed political organization Movement for the Restoration of Democracy ( MRD) is in the process of planning a major event in Marigot in March.

The MRD was formed following the December 18, 2009 general elections that saw a landslide victory for the ruling Dominica Labour Party.

The MRD supports the opposition United Workers Party’s principled decision to boycott the Parliament of Dominica as an act of protest against the use of alleged corruption to achieve unchecked power by one political party.

The coordinating committee members of the MRD are:  Hon. Norris Prevost, Hector John, Hon. Edison James, Ronald Green, Judith Pestaina, Samuel “Sam” Raphael, Singoala Bloomquist-Williams, Nigel Francis and Washwoa Douglas.

Oh wow, another dimension, MRD gonna have to wait 5 yrs to run for elections, and I’m 100% sure that the election results are going to be the same. Hon. Norris Prevost, Hector John, Hon. Edison James, Ronald Green, Judith Pestaina, Samuel “Sam” Raphael, Singoala Bloomquist-Williams, Nigel Francis and Washwoa Douglas, i’m sorry but i’m afraid that you guys are just wasting your precious time. Time = Money so I guess you guys are rich or simply have alot of disposable income. I doub that there is any way the DLP could have been corrupt in the last election. “LANDSLIDE VICTORY”: this says it all. I know sometimes it can be difficult to accept defeat but please i beg you (MRD) just deal with it and get over it. Thank YOU!!
