Nation of Islam leader calls for Caribbean unity

Louis Farrakhan

The leader of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan, has called on Caribbean leaders to unite, pointing out that regional nations are too small to survive on their own.

“Dominica can’t live by herself, Barbados can’t make it by herself, Trinidad may look like she can make it by herself but she’s a sheep that the wolves are looking to eat her up,” Farrakhan said during a lecture at a Arawak House of Culture on Sunday. “The only way that the Caribbean will survive, is if the leadership doesn’t hold on to sovereignty like that is the biggest thing in the world”.

He noted that the population of Caribbean nations is just too small to for them develop on their own. “We’ve got cities in America that got more people than the nations in the Caribbean and they can’t survive on their own,” he argued. “The Caribbean must look beyond your flag and your nation and see the whole region”.

Farrakhan said Caribbean leaders should think like former Prime Minister Rosie Douglas, who according to him, had a vision of Caribbean unity. “May God put it in the hearts of the leaders not to think just for Dominica but to begin to think like Rosie thought,” he said. “Rosie thought for the whole of the Caribbean, Rosie thought that the whole Caribbean should be one great nation.”

Farrakhan is in Dominica as part of a five-nation Caribbean tour.

Sometimes controversial, one of Farrakhan’s most significant accomplishments has been organizing the 1995 Million Man March on Washington, D.C. He also held a Million Family March in 2000.

He ran into problems with the US government when it refused to let him keep money donated by the late Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi.

Had minister Farakhan chosen to boldly praise skeritt, a lot of the people who are pretending that they are ‘concerned’ with Farakhan’s religion and racial allegations, would be saying how great a pan-africanist he is.

“Francisco, whoever says and believes that Muslim women are granted dignity has their brains deep in the sand.”

Justice And Truth, Dominica is a place where people believe every little bit of nonsense they hear and read in some newspaper or on the Internet.

Most of our people are repeaters; they repeat and spread every bit of hogwash without any facts to substantiate their comments , and even when people who actually experience the situation state it as it really is some idiot comes along and try to insult those of us who speaks the truth.

I mean any one who believes that Muslim, men even Farrakhan treats women with dignity is an idiot, and certainly has no concept as to how these people operate.

Dominicans accepts any kind of crap, I wonder if these idiots who are talking know about the brainwashing which takes place in the Nation of Islam? I have seen women in that organization who are practicing medical doctors who’s husbands treat them worst than a dog, and those highly educated women simply accept the abuse with a smile.

There was a so called Muslim woman on nation wide Television a few years ago who told the world, when a Muslim man speaks to his woman, regardless of what she should never speak back against his opinions, and if she does, the man should slap her mouth, burst her lips, and then ” make her have sex with him.”

I am shocked at Elizabeth comments though I am not surprised, she claims that she likes Farrakahn; she said he tell the truth! Someone should ask her when Farakahn told his followers that white people are literally devils, because they are children of the devil, was he speaking the truth?

And since she is always talking about God, she should know that Jesus said ” For by Strips Ye Are Healed.” Let me make sure I clarify that so there can be no misunderstanding, and explain that in the quote above Jesus made it quite clearer that by his strips we humans are healed.

Farrakahn has classified himself as god, by tell his followers ” for by his strips” they are healed.

Liz4jesus, was Farrakhan tell the truth to his followers, and congregation?

Most Dominicans simply run off their mouth supporting every bit of garbage they here, not know better I must admit they believe and swallow line hook and sinker.

And for those gullible who may not believe that Farrkhan represents himself as Jesus, a recording of his precise words can be presented to verify that the kid knows what he is talking about./

Finally, when I was pursuing my medical degree, some students would come by my house to study, one of them a Muslim, she would cover from head to toe, not even her eyes could be identified, however, as she walked in the house everything would be pulled off, one night after our studies was completed, she ask me to drop her off at a Mausk, It was about nine o’clock, I will not mention the part of Los Angles I took her, nonetheless, when we were about half of a mile away from the place intended, this girl became restless, and began to scream, let me out, let me, let me out as if she had gone mad!

You know fear overwhelm her, the brain-washing had her spell bound.

I had to let her out of my car, I was scared, because letting someone out in such an area, one was not sure I would see her ever again in this life.

Days later in class I try to find out why she acted that way, it boil down to one simple thing, she could not afford to let any Muslim, man or woman seeing her riding in a car with me because I am not a Muslim.

This woman would rather sacrifice her life in a dangerous part of the city than see with a man who is not a so called Muslim.

If that is dignity, I do not know however when in a place such as Dubai where women are deprive the right to drive a car, I do not there is much dignity in that!

Black people should forget about living for anything worth living for. They should just suck up and not have reasons to live. They should stay in bondage another 400 years and forget about liberty, justice, freedom and emancipation. They don’t deserve anything that will put them in a better position to compete on world markets in trade, agriculture, industry and commerce. They don’t need prophets, what they deserve is Roman Catholic priests and Nuns. Politicians that suck the very existence out of them. Drug dealers to provide them ALL the crap they can smoke/snort/inject. They deserve to be left to their own demise. They deserve to be SLAVES to the NEO Colonialists for the remainder of their miserable lives. Yes Black people that is what YOU deserve because you are so darn foolish! Keep on sleeping, please!

    • Justice and Truth
      December 5, 2012

Who are the black people you are referring to? Are you not black yourself? You are generalizing – again. God endowed everyone with a character and personality traits. In this case, they are not one and the same and they do not think alike. Furthermore, what one wants for him/herself is not what another wants and vice versa. This makes everyone different to a certain extent.
Has it dawned on you that there are people who are happy and satisfied with their lifestyle? As for Christians who recognize Our Lord Jesus Christ and worship him, they are happy doing that, loving and serving him through others. Their Leader is Our Lord and not an imperfect human being. Why should they even bother with Farrakhan? He is not the holy of holies. What they need to know is contained specifically in the New Testament and as the Church believes and teaches. One of the last persons they need to dictate to them about unity is Farrakhan.
Love, peace and unity are contained in Holy Scripture. They are also contained in The Ten Commandments of God. They are happy serving their Lord who is The Only Way, the Truth, the Life and Light, the path that leads to happiness and eternal salvation in God’s glorious Kingdom of eternal bliss. If they serve God well in this world, they do not want anything. He is their Counselor.
Psalm 23: The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want…
Psalm 127: The Need of God’s Blessing – Unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain who build. Unless the Lord guard the city, in vain does the guard keep watch.
Psalm 122 – I rejoiced when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.”
He is the wise one. He is the one we listen to and follow for our own earthly and spiritual benefit. All governments should do likewise. If they do, unity and cooperation will be effected in its time as God sees fit.

Amazing that people cannot unite their own nation but they will go to other countries and preach unity. I am not blind, deaf or sleeping. Farrakhan is not a friend of Christians and of democracy. By the way, do they vote? I know there are some members of a religion other than Islam that do not vote.

We are often told “Concentrate on the message, not the messenger” nevertheless, whenever I hear a muslim talking about peace and unity I always scratch my head. I am not saying we have no problems in the Caribbean, but when you compare it with what is going on in north Africa and the middle east where the muslims are in control .It is like hell on earth. And I believe Farrakhan’s message of unity would be so timely in these Muslim countries.

See what the muslims have done to the blacks in Darfur. We know they are killing each other in Syria,Iran,Iraq, Afghanistan etc etc.Mass demonstration in Egypt. They toppled one dictator and another one is raising it’s ugly head.Shi’ites fighting Sunnis both muslims.Just a few weeks ago they tried to murder a girl who believes that women should be educated as the men.I can continue showing evidence of the ills with this cult but..

He might have some good point of views, but he is a Muslem and Muslems are generally evil. They pretend to b good, but they are the Anti-Christ. The only thing I like is the Unity between Caribbean Islands. America is powerful, because all the states unite. The Caribbean should do the same, including the French Islands. I live in USA, and I know the history of Farakahn he has good points, but he is also dividing people. Even in our own Dominican families, there are divisions, muchless. Be smart Dominicans there is technology, look up everything on popular people. And make the wise choices. Love.

Sometimes we judge people by other people’s judgment of them but I believe that when someone has a message or is sharing, we should be able to recieve what is applicable. I have listened to Minister Farrakhan many times and I know that he is no fool. When anyone talks against the West, they seem to offend the majority because of the myopic mindset or manner of thinking.
Why can’t we come to our senses and realise that Western Civilisation is coming to an end and that, like he said, “the only way that the Caribbean will servive is if the leadership doesn’t hold on to soverenity.
How long have we lokked to England? Are we better now or when they were in control? We need to let go of the master completely in order to be free. We can’t say that we are independent and still looking for hand outs.
It’s time to rise up my people. Yes, the leaders of the Carribean islands should come together and control and look to their own affairs.

The last thing I would need is an Anti-Christ preaching to me on personal matters. He is already disobedient by not recognizing Our Lord Jesus Christ whom he has rejected. Why should I listen to him and pay heed? Why should other Christians? Why should sensible people who already know what it entails to unite and live in peace? Surely, they do not need this man’s advice. I do think he is wasting his time.

The idea of unifying the Caribbean did not come from Roosie Douglas, it came even before that. Have you read about the West Indian Federation led by T.A. Marryshow of Grenada? Ten (10) nations came together to form the Federation, after some time Jamaica pulled out, Dr. Eric Williams then PM of Trinidad said one (1) from Ten (10) leaves naught……..Federation died and we have been struggling through CARICOM…CSME and OECS. We must not forget our history.

Farakan’s eloquence is matched only by Goebel’s and Hitler’s. Be very careful with what this man preaches. While he is meddling in Caribbean politics, he is silent on why he still makes the USA his home with a palatial residence, guards, limousines, etc. while telling us how evil Uncle Sam is. He should also preach on the Arab Muslims who captured our black ancestors and sold them to Europeans. The historical fact is that more negroes were enslaved in the Muslim Middle East countries than the combined numbers of the West Indies, and Central and South America. Any “preacher” who can believe and teach that the white man was created genetically by a black renegade scientist called Yacub is not on my playing field. And another thing, Farakkan’s god was a mixed race man called Master Fard Muhammadad so dont be fooled by Farakkan’s use of the Bible. Even the devil can quote Scripture. Just sharing, folks.

“The only way that the Caribbean will survive, is if the leadership doesn’t hold on to sovereignty like that is the biggest thing in the world”<<<<<<<<< News Article.

I am with this man here, pertaining to his idea, which generally speaks the "truth" that says: "United we stand, divided we fall"–not that I have any trust that he is in harmony or in practice of what he is speaking, especially when I hear and read that his people are called to kill everyone, who does not go along with his doctrines of Life, spiritually.

Also, as someone here already said: It is not that leaders of the Caribbean do not know this "truth" of the goal of “unity” for the welfare and development of their Nation, but the fleshly and evil desire of greed, fame, popularity, and power, is the norm of the mind of man today–it does not take too much of a status to cause the mind of a person to be flourished by those fleshly and evil ideas.

However today, there is nothing much that none can do about it. The Caribbean is like one big Nation or Kingdom—just like the Nation of Israel was built up from the Primary Father of twelve sons. Each of the twelve sons inherited their own part of the Land of Canaan, which is now called Israel, and so we are to understand the Tribes of Israel—The Nation of Israel always maintained one fleshly King, as God Almighty remained in control, as the Sovereign King, for the sake of all His chosen people.

And so, if there is any disharmony among the Leaders of the Caribbean, it is the same as when Jesus said: A Kingdom divided against itself cannot stand—that is where I agree with Farrakhan: We cannot make it by ourselves, even his reason is not the same as mine.

Also, the Word of God tells us that nearing the return of Jesus Christ, Nation will rise against Nation and Kingdom against Kingdom–prophecy must be fulfilled; and the time of fulfillment is near. For we are no longer living in the last days of the return of Jesus Christ—the signs that Jesus gave us is extreme visible to our human eyes and is well understood in our minds.

In other words, we are living in the last hours of human existence on this earth. It is not the world coming to an end, it is the sinful, evil, and wickedness of humanity that is coming to an end, for not all of us human beings are children of God. The children of God are those who are born again of the Spirit, Love, in Truth and Holiness.

Satan used God's creation to establish his own evil shemes in this world–that is the reason for all the torments and torture that we go through each day. By the Power of Holy Spirit, God must get rid of the evil in the minds of His chosen people–are you one of those people?

All we can do today is to look into our own minds and to discover what is taking place there, who is driving us–with the intention of making the U-Turn for the positive direction or to continue steadfastly on that direction, where God alone, who is our Creator remains in steadfast control, or the Driver in our live forevermore.

If every person in this world today, is considering that fact, imagine the difference in Life, pertaining to guidance, safety, assurance, perfection, and completeness in Love, which is the stature of Life–the Great Glory of God Almighty in Jesus Christ.

    • December 3, 2012

      Corections

      (1) The signs, that Jesus gave us, are extremely visible to our human eyes; and is well understood in our minds

      (2) To continue steadfastly in that direction, where God alone, who is our Creator, remains in steadfast control, or being the Driver in our lives, forevermore.

United we stand, divided we fall also in religious beliefs and practice. It appears that everyone must pray for unity and peace and Christian unity. God grants those virtues. Farrakhan is not stupid. My instinct informs me that the unity he is referring to is there should be one belief, namely the Muslim belief. What other type of unity he expects from the Caribbean islands?

      • December 5, 2012

        @Justice and Truth

I understand what you are saying; however we all seemed to have made the same mistake here–through our comments. We chose to go after the messenger and not contemplate on the message.

Jesus’ disciples went to Him and told that they found people, who were not His followers, casting demons out from people, in His name, and they stopped those people.

Jesus told them not to stop them, because if they are speaking in His name, they were for Him. He said it directly: If they are not against us, then they are for or with us.

I see nothing wrong with Farrakhan pointing to the leaders of the Caribbean that untiy will keep them standing–especially that he has nothing to gain or lose–whatever the outcome.

Many people are aware of Farrakhan’s reputation. I have heard him on TV. I would not have gone to hear him. The majority of genuine practicing Christians would not waste their time to hear him. In my estimation, he is not really a popular person. I do not know why he would bother to visit the Caribbean and preach to the people. I believe that his ulterior motive is to get people to join his cult.

Let us now hold on to our independence untill we can decide what type of king/queen we want.

The calling for unity among Caribbean Countries and destroying sovereignty is not going to happen. Why is it that calling for unity entails giving up giving up sovereignty.I think this dangerous and unethical, dangerous in that each country looses it right to determine it’s future, it also robs countries of their identity making them what they are.It is unethical in that countries and their citizens do not have the ability to think for themselves to make decisions as to what is best for them instead it is done by some bureaucrats.Look at Europe and the so called unity, The EU and how countries are are being destroyed by bureaucrats in the name of unity.

There are benefits from being united in areas of commerce, traveling arrangements for the citizens within the countries, memorandum of understandings between the different Governments but the one thing that should not be sacrificed is sovereignty. When such agreements are made the citizens should participate in the process and not something that should be done in backroom meetings between Politicians and Bureaucrats.

When we talk of unity between the Countries, unity relative to what.Sometimes I think the word unity is just being used loosely without analyzing it ramifications. One of the things that we must not forget is that unity has to come with trust, the foundation, without trust unity cannot hold or function. Why is it we hold on to the belief or idea that unity is going to solve all our problems in the region,I believe this to be false hope and not looking at the real problem which is each country needs to solve its own domestic problems first. The downfall of the attempts of Governments and Leaders to unite us in the region is found in this, the wrong message that we should see everyone as the same. This is the root of the failure of harmony. Because the truth is, we should not all see everyone as the same. We are not the same We are made of different colors and we have different cultures. We are all different But the key to this unity is to look at these differences, respect these differences, learn from these differences, and grow with these differences. We are all different. We are not the same. But that’s beautiful.

Farrakhan was only allowed in the Caribbean because of freedom of speech which everyone has a right to.
Just think! Let the islands govern themselves. They are different islands with different names, all possessing their own individuality.
All they need to do is to have an amicable relationship with one another and also trade with one another. I do not see why this type of unity is necessary.
Farrakhan is a hypocrite and a great pretender. The aim in the Muslim world, among Muslims is to conquer and make the world one, dominated by Islam – Muslims. Take note of what is occurring in Nigeria – Africa for that matter, the murder of thousands of Christians. This is not acceptable and never will be.
Those who renounce Christianity to join Islam are not smart people.
Let me further state that the man who they worship as their leader, Mohammed, was a Catholic who made himself a God and deceived his followers. He has placed and left a lot of anger, division, sorrow and fear in the world. In recent years we have terrorists, originating from Islam, the fear and threat of them. They have spread their propaganda throughout the world, no exception in Dominica. Their aim is to infiltrate the entire world. Those who do not believe that, better think again. Pray to Our God of love, peace and unity for this enlightenment.
As it is stated in the New Testament, “Some people’s sins precede them to eternity. Others are followed by their sins.” It also states, “Do not touch their garments…”
In view of this, I doubt that Mohammed’s soul is in Heaven. On Judgment Day we will certainly know.

Debull pls dont feed into the ignorance of saying that he is not a true muslim. are you a muslim? and why do you say that he is not a true muslim? islam is a religion and anyone practicing islam is a true muslim no matter where they are from. is it true to say then that only people born in the land where christianity came from are the only true christian. the minister is a true muslim because there are no such thing as a watered down muslim. the minister religious belief and practice is islam. however he is a black man and know the plight of black people world wide and as a result find himself in the forefront of the fight for black people. so if the minister see u in trouble or someone is mistreating because of the color of your skin being black, no matter who the person is that is mistreating u because you are black, he will defend. he is black first and muslim second as long as his race is being mistreated by the others. just so u know its not only muslim who are fighting the israelies in palastine. its both palistianian muslim and palistianian christian who are fighting for their rights in palastine. so would we call those palistianian christian waterdown because they are fighting off a common enemy? i dont think so.

You stated ‘everyone’ is a true Muslim. I meet people, especially the young ones who do not practice Islam. I have been personally told so. I would say that Farrakhan is a hypocrite. A wolf in sheep’s clothing. Satan’s ministers disguise themselves.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said, there will be no short-cuts to Heaven, a thief jumping over the gate.” No one obtains eternal salvation without recognizing Our Lord Jesus Christ that He came to earth, sent by Our Almighty Father, to live, suffer and die for us that we might obtain eternal salvation. Those who are Christians, shout it loud and clear. Our salvation also depends on evangelizing.
Whenever I meet them, a few work at the bank I conduct business with. They are nice people. I give them a short lecture on Christianity; not aggressively. They listen very well.
There are Muslim adults who do not practice Islam. They do not go to the mosques. Some pretend, observing their holidays just as some Christians who do not go to church observe those Christian holidays as also Christmas.
I do inform them that Christianity is 2000 years old and that Islam is approximately 600 years old after Mohammed left the Catholic faith. He married a 10 or 14 year old girl – child. Figure all this out.

Farrakhan is in Dominica. Farrakhan lays wreath at the tomb of late PM Rosie Douglas. Ceremony was organised with the consent of the Skerritt-led DLP Govt. Rosie’s son, Tiyani Behanzin, is not part of the proceedings. The vendetta, victimization and hatred continues against Rosie’s son.

Skerritt and the rest of the DLP Cabal have tossed Rosie’s vision into the bottomless pit. But how could Tiyani’s uncles in the Cabal have so much guts? Wicked!! Wicked!!! Tiyani will always remain Rosie’s son, irrespective of what?

Bird Island, no longer belongs to Dominica. What was Rosie’s wish and consistent advocacy on Bird Island? Now Bird Island SOLD. Yes SOLD for …… What is shameful, Dominicans stood there and said nothing.

Bribery and other corrupt practices in our faces, under our noses, crippling our beautiful Nature Isle. A stitch in time saves nine. The few who profit from the corruption will continue to divide and rule. More buying of stupidity and ignorance expected.

That is why Dominicans should not expect Skerritt and the DLP Govt. to give the Electoral Commission the money for Electoral Reforms – To clean up the “dirty” Voters’ List and to provide Voter ID Cards. Electoral Laws and the Constitution mean nothing to the few “with Power.”

All over the world citizens are fighting, demonstrating, calling on their Govts. to have FREE and FAIR elections. It seems it’s OK in Dominica if elections are filled with many irregularities. Excuses are made. The judicial system incapacitated. Dominicans prevent dictatorship.

While I strongly oppose many of Farrakhan’s and the Nation of Islam’s views, I agree with his statements here more or less. But do note a few things on the side: the Nation of Islam is NOT the same as Islam; it is an off-shoot of Islam with a number of very suspicious beliefs, including the wildly racist belief that a black scientist named “Yakub” created the white people as a race of “devils” about 6,000 years ago. Not only is this absurd in the highest degree, but it is divisive and, in my estimation, evil. Do not forget, either, that Farrakhan is complicit in the death of Malcolm X–a far better man than a racist fanatic like Farrakhan could ever hope in a thousand years to be. The brother is right, these Islands are to small to survive on their own and they need to come together in true unity. Europeans civilization is in decline and they are quickly losing their grip on the world. They don’t care about these small Islands that are inhabited by descendants (acendants) of afrikans slaves and indentured laborers but to continue to extract the very last drop of blood from the viens of these island paradise. I MORE THAN LOVE THIS MAN BECAUSE HE WANTS WOMEN TO HAVE A BIT OF DIGNITY NOT THE TYPES THAT SHOW THEIR BREAST,BUM AND BACK OUT …ONLY YOUR HUSBAND SHOULD SEE YOUR BODY NOT ALL THE POPULATION…

    • December 3, 2012

He wants women to have dignity?

You do not even know half of it, do you believe when a so called Muslim man goes to work and lock his wife up in a house, and dare her to open the door and go outside is wanting them to have dignity?

Look I bought a rental property just before Escrow closed, I had to do a finial walk through, when we got to one of the apartments, and rang the bell, and told the occupant who was a Muslim we were there for me to do the walk through, which is sanctioned the Real Estate laws of California, the lady behind the door informed the agent, that her husband was not home, and instructed her not to open the door to anyone, therefore she cannot let us in.

She did not open the door, so I simply said to the seller, if I cannot see the inside of her apartment I was not going to go ahead with the purchase.

The issue her and her a notice to vacate the apartment.

Closer to home my older daughter was Married to one of them, has three children, she came down with Lupus, a deadly disease which can kill her any day, do you know that this Muslim just left her, and his children?
His excuse is that they are living in a house belonging to my former wife, and he is not comfortable living in a house that is not belonging to him and my daughter.

But wait, I will give it to you all the way!

Before he could marry my daughter, his religion the Nation of Islam made him bought some insurance making my daughter the lone benefactor, they made him buy a house, thus they were obligated to a mortgage.

The man would not work, they lost the house to the mortgage company, I rented them an apartment: after that the man refuse to find a proper job, stating that he refused to work for the ” Man ” meaning for white people, all he decided to do was work for his own kind the Muslims who business is security work, what we call a watchman job in Dominica, and when he gets a pay cheque from his Muslim employer, the cheque bounces.

So much for your theory of this false dignity!

I can tell you about another one of them, who Steve Wonder was marry to his mother that would make you cry, the idea that Farrakhan is evoking the name of Rosie Douglas, and advising that politicians in Dominica should think like him should make you wonder.

Rosie Douglas was my friend, I knew him better than Farrahahn will ever know him, and I can tell you Rosie had nothing planed for Dominica that anyone would like to revised or adapt.

Say I told you, say you got all of the above from me, say I told you that the keep their women in subjection, and to me that is not dignity!

And by the way my daughter is a medial professional, and has done fine without that Muslim boy!

Francisco, whoever says and believes that Muslim women are granted dignity has their brains deep in the sand. They should also come to live in Canada if they are not hearing about what is done to Muslim women who dare educate themselves and wear in western garbs. A few have been murdered by their own parents.
Today, a Muslim man was sentenced to 15 years without parole for the murder of his wife in 2008. He slit her throat and left her to die at their place of residence. He claimed that she and her daughters were too westernized.
A few years another with his son pushed one of his wives and two daughters in a car into a river/pond. They died. He, his son and other wife are in prison. They may spend the rest of their days in prison.
In the past few years, some more murders of young Muslim women occurred in Canada, no exception in Ontario, by their very own father, mother and sibling brother(s). They claim that they are too westernized.
You must have heard of the young girl, I believe 14 years of age who was shot in her homeland because she goes to school and speaks against atrocities. She was almost killed. She is now in Great Britain undergoing treatment. I heard on TV that there is a push on over the Internet to nominate her for the Nobel Prize for Peace. I would vote for her. She said when she gets better she wants to return to her homeland.
Pertaining to residing in the western world, it is beyond my comprehension that when those people migrate to these parts, they do not adopt and refuse to adopt the western society. They can keep their morals and principals but they should abandon their Sharia Law. They wanted the Ontario government to establish the Sharia Law. The Ontario Premier refused. He said that Ontario has a Law for everyone.
I saw a TV program that they are allowed to practice their Sharia Law in Great Britain. I could not believe this. Much more could be stated about that.
We must speak the truth and stand up for what is correct to say. One day, God will destroy all the troublemakers. Some have already gone to their eternal judgment.

I particularly liked a statement he made on Kairi Fm, though the management of Kairi and some local politicians and political groups must be very uncomfortable. Here is the statement he made:”when politicians buy votes the people are paying for stupidity.” How true! That really speaks of Dominica at its best.

The last sentence in this article also raised some question. While he fell into trouble with the US goverment, when the US refused to allow him to keep money from Gadafi, yet he is speaking in country whose leader (s) acceped money from Gadafi. Can’t be good for us,

If someone invited him to Dominica to talk, I believe that is to cause a distraction from something that is not going right in Dominica. Born of Jamaican parent, the failed Calypso singer has failed in everything else, except what he claims to be right now.

Someone should ask him how many of his promises he has keep in regards to making his followers economically independent from the economy of the United States.

And do not consider my response to your foolishness as credence, or dignifying you, I do for I do not dignify low life who are beneath me!

        December 4, 2012

MR. Telemaque I agree with you 100%….

I have recently started commenting on this blog and what I have realized is that many persons here tend to get angry when a person seems to be well informed and knows exactly what he or she is talking about based on facts not opinion.

Whenever they fail to comprehend the facts they tend to get angry and resort to name calling.

It’s shocking to read certain comments here. You are left agape..wondering….does that person really have any comprehension skills or are they just plain out ignorant? Sometimes I really have to shake my head.

Sometimes, its really embarrassing to read some of the comments. These people make accusations with absolutely no facts. They claim they know, they falsely accuse people here by simple listening to gossip/rumors.

Many people here seem to want to be judge and jury and the arguments they bring forward sometimes dont make any sense at all. It makes me wonder whether they have any common sense at all.

Say for example, some persons BOLDLY STATED that a criminal will NEVER RETURN to the scene of a crime or even return to that country…I suggest they take a course or even read up on criminology…there are hundreds of documented cases where criminals remain in that same community or even wish to involve themselves in the investigation…..Hec, even here crimes are committed and the criminals still remain on island, so what are they really talking about?

They see guilty criminals who remain on the island ALL the time..so are they really saying that once you remain on an island where you were accused of committing a crime then this AUTOMATICALLY RENDERS you NOT GUILTY?? WOW!!!!!!! I must say these are very bright people.

I dont know i dont know but…how do they even come up with that kind of conclusion?? booii oh boiiiiii

I can tell that many people here are not very well informed. They also stated boldly that to understand criminal minds one must read law books..Now anyone should know that law books dont teach you CRIMINOLOGY. Law texts books tells you about the law..Criminology texts books deals with CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR

My god!!!! how can some people be so bold as to wear their ignorance as a badge of honor??

It’s so simple to google information but i guess they would rather remain ignorant and comment on topics that they are not informed about.

Sad Sad Sad Sad…..I really feel sorry for them…

I think people here should start reading a bit more as some seem rather clueless of what is going on.

        People please stop embarrassing yourselves!!

    OBSERVATION

DNO…I think that it takes too long for comments to be reviewed and posted. Sometimes a comment takes about an entire day before it is posted on here.

By the time some comments are posted more news items have been added and sometimes you tend to forget to post them.

I think you should hire another to assist in the reviewing of the comments.

        Why worry about it?

    • December 3, 2012

Yes to you “Change” Your opinion is a fair one

And to you Anonymous, you are so right! Who will go down to the 20th page to find that news article–some of us may not even know how to do that.

And so the comment of that person is completely lost–no matter what essence of that comment could have provoked in the minds of readers.

I would imagine that provoking the mind to think or ponder–one way or the other–would be the reason for the comments to the news article–otherwise, why comment at all?

Liza and Anonymous, you will note that if a story is popular, it captivates the attention of readers and incites them to respond, there will be many who will comment. Those who lack patience should develop it by praying to God for it. Patience is one of the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit. …And they’ll know that we are Christians by our love and patience.

The Nation of Islam is NOT the same as Islam. It is not simply watered-down; it is an evil–and I say that as a person who is not a fanatic and does not easily label things as such–version of the religion filled with racism and denialism. This is not an attack; it is the truth, and you may easily look it up for yourself on a credible source.

They all know that Farrakhan, deep down in their hearts they all do. But the greed for power, even if suffering heightens before their very eyes, they want to own a country, they do not care.

These Caribbean politiicans are the most ridiculous and selfish group of people I’ve ever known.

Just see how they treat you in next door Antigua when you decide to go through their hungry piece of land for 5 minutes.

I’m just sick of Caribbean politics, makes me sick to my stomach!

    • December 3, 2012

I’m with u I didnt have to wait for Mr. Louis Farrakhan to tell me other wise my eyes have been open to what’s happening around the region especially within Dominica he said all the right things saturday but sunday he fell short I dont believe he came to explain to our poeple about their lifestyles, religion, and the bible which are also good if that was his intention why didnt speak about tropical treatment he speaking of his own philosophy about the outside World and what he think about the U.S.A that’s all good and well but to those who never study his work I would suggest u should learn more about him.
Their are times he mentioed things that were on point because some of what he said we as DOMINICANS know it’s true when he spoke about partisan politic is killing us and the people should always be first and money is the root of evil depening on how we recieve and spend it integrity and corruption those are things we heard on BETWEEN YOU AND ME, THE HOTSEAT, Agello and others every day now we have an outsider bringing the same message what are we going to do.
Look what”s happening to the Son of his dear friend Roosie Douglas preventing him from speaking at the graveside of him father people we have to take a stand on the Island.
We welcome Mr.Farrakhan to D’ica and he was bold enough to use the airwaves to express his concerns for the Caribbean Islands and it’s people and how we should try to protect and prevent others from comming in and take over and how going back to the soil is wise.,

  49. December 3, 2012

RsFarrakhan also said somethings on Kairi that had the hosts of the program scrambling. He also said that when politicians buy votes the people are paying for stupidity.
He also condemned the lie by politicians and their cabal.
He also spoke about politicians who are controlled by people with self interest.
He called out the priest pastors stop grovelling and be honest.

As for the E.U., I have no confidence in them. They are all ungodly people. They make a mess of the world. The world is not better off for having them and other such organizations. Take a look around you and read and listen to TV about the goings-on in the world and what has occurred in the world which never occurred prior to having an E.U. or when they were not dominating the world their so-called principles.

If it is the masses who are not interested, they are smart people and are doing well. If it is the other way around, they are not smart people to pay heed to that man.
