UWP Team Dominica, is a party with a Righteous Cause. The supporters are not looking to Receive but to give to the cause in contrast to the labour party who believes that they must entice the people with bribes to vote for them. The people will have no genuine love for those who believes that bribes and seduction is the way to win their hearts .

Huge crowd but crowd is not all, you need to VOTE. I think the people at the UWP convension got to listen to one of the most powerful speaches ever on a political platform in Dominica which was given by Mr.Francis. If you wasn’t sure where you would put your cross after listening to him, i think you know now. Mr. Linton ccame in after and agian with no force explain to people and giving them fact. I have never seen men on a platform so calm and to the point without trying to degrade anyone or their family. That is wht we need in Dominica, not a man telling you what your father did, or how you ugly or always vex. That is what you calling a meeting, good work UWP, good work.
I listen to Mr.Austrie and the man started talking about the Baptiste father and his shop and how he had a book with the names of people who owes him. After he died Mr Baptist went around Castle Bruce trying to collect the monies. I mean come on man, we are in 2014, that was 1995 politics.

This whole political landscape in Dominica has evolved into a color war very much like the Crips and Bloods of California, USA! It seems like for most people, issues, ideas, philosophies, ideologies, principles and character are irrelevant. It’s simply an “us against them” mentality. A red against blue gang war where the best interest of Dominica hangs in the balance.
This is not a one-sided mentality, but a permeating mindset perpetuated by both sides of the political spectrum. Dominica is indeed polarized, separated, divided and marginalized by color. Dominica at this time seems hopeless at achieving the true benefits and ideals of democracy. Color based politics creates gang mentality. Instead of gravitating to ideas and solutions people just “affiliate” according to color.
The gangs in California would fit in perfectly right now. They would see Dominica as their haven where mostly ALL citizens are “affiliated” with one color or another. Bloods are red, Crips are blue! The rest of the Democratic world laughs at Dominica and the state of her politics. Do not for one second believe that we are not being watched.
Our Island Home is now so comfortably in bed with Communist countries, it is simply idiotic to believe that the larger democratic world is not paying attention…stay tuned…

i must be honest and say that thats a big crowd.. However , still not enough.. Also in all honesty the UWP candidates do not look like leaders, they don’t look like people to represent dominica at all. Joshua francis is the only one who looks presentable. but the rest…. nope.. very poor.. indeed.

What you all need to think about, do you want progress and development to continue in country or do you want to go backwards, no development or progress, in debt, No future for your people, no education. There are lots more you all should think about before going to the poll. Look at the bigger picture no the know.

I was very impressed with the trun out for Team Dominica. Dominicans are finally getting to see the truth.
Lennox was very articulate as usual and sound more like a modern day leader who internationals can trust and understand.

This was a bumper crowd UWP had! oh yes I must say now that change is coming to my country.
No more hand-outs, threatening language and victimization. After December 8 we can all live free again.
I call on Postsmouth and Grandbay people to get away from their sheepish ways vote for change.

Well i myself is not about CROWD am about the MESSAGE and honestly i went to both Rallies and can tell you the DLP has more Statesmen and Women, their message is clear and well articulated.

I listened to Lennox on Sunday and everything was so generalized, example “We will create 5,000 Jobs in the first 3 years; Create Industries; pay the public servants back their 5% taken from them way as well as paying them and increase” REALLY LENNOX???

That too me sounds real foolish honestly!!!!!

Skerrit ion the other hand promised to continue on his current path of development which includes a new state of the art Hospital, but what really impresses me with the DLP is the quest to ensure we are ENERGY Independent meaning FOSSIL FREE… therefore reducing the cost of energy, that makes lots of sense to me. I only heard UWP articulate their policy once on this when they said they will put this Geothermal Energy on hold whilst they explore safety and other sources of energy perceived to be safer.

I think they are only scaring the Laudat voters hoping to gain political points.

I will vote for the DLP if for nothing else but this..

My other concern is when Lennox claimed that it’s his Families in Europe financing the uwp campaign… I mean SERIOUSLY?? Nah i cannot accept that at all, so the UWP is political Party owned and managed by Lennox and his well to do families in Europe? So UWP as a party has absolutely NO FRIENDS?? Not even China that is every political party in Dominica friend??

I was there, massive crowd, I was at the red rally before, saw pics showing massive crowds and there had spaces in the area that wasn’t filled. I was happy to see such a crowd, they wasn’t promised anything to be there, not payed anything, they wanted to be there. The day before all the gas in st joe finish, free gas for a labor rally.

My friend you aint speaking the truth . There were people outside to fill the park . Mud hindered people from being in there . Now had you walked the street on Saturday night you’d notice that had the crowd in Roseau to fit in the newtown savannah , you’d have enlargen the field all the way to the gasoline staion in high street . Your park had people scattered and one could easily find those they long to see in quick time . Savannah was empty .

Come on people don’t be fooled. If the labour party wasn’t doing something good in there. The Dominican people wouldn’t put them back in for the second term. And about to take the third term by a sand storm again.

What a poor turn out. You see that is what I do not like with Lennox Linton. He making them take out photos of a massive crowd fooling the people again. I was there and the photos we are all view right now was in a certain area only. I was there, I can see myself in the photo and I can tell you that the other side of the area had nobody .I thinking hard about voting for Joshua now. You fooling me man.

      November 10, 2014

That is senseless ! U want pics to be taken where there are no people .
Another thing stop deceiving people The crowd was huge and yes i was at the same rally you were.
Lastly Mr. Francis is a much better man than ambrose in all respects. If you keep your vote.vote for the demonic leader you want to vote for.simple

    November 10, 2014

But has Mr. Roosevelt Skerrit told us why he chose Dec. 8 for the election? Is there something that needs immediate attention or a cover up? Well here is why we will be voting on Dec. 8:
    1. December is the month we celebrate the birth of Jesus according to apostle Matthew. 1:21 “She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus…”

    2. The prophet and Agriculture Minister, Matthew Walter introduced us to another jesus

    3. The prophet Matthew Walter was about to make another announcement that involves his jesus, but in interest of the party, they decided to call the elction first.
Enough of the politics lets sing now since we had so much music this weekend. here is the lyrics of a song I love. It’s very long so I will give you the site so u could listen and sing with me. http://www.metrolyrics.com/my-confessions-part-two-lyrics-usher.html

    These are my confessions
Just when I thought I said all I could say
My chick on the side said she got one on the way
    These are my confessions
Man I’m thrown and I dont know what to do
I guess I gotta give part 2 of my confessions
If I’m gonna tell it then I gotta tell it all
Damn near cried when I got that phone call
I’m so throwed and I don’t know what to do
But to give you part 2 of my confessions

Now this gon’ be the hardest thing I think I ever had to do
Got me talkin’ to myself askin’ how I’m gon’ tell you
’bout that chick on part 1 I told ya’ll I was creepin’ with, creepin’ with
Said she’s 3 months pregnant and she’s keepin’ it
The first thing that came to mind was you
Second thing was how do I know if it’s mine and is it true
Third thing was me wishin’ that I never did what I did
How I ain’t ready for no kid and bye bye to our relationship
