Mr. PM you are now in second place for the worse PM Dominican has ever had. The first place is now held by P.J who was also a Laborrat, but don’t be too complacent in second place because you can still regain first place at the end of your tenure.

What is amazing is that the P M is always criticized for doing something by people who are doing nothing and are offering no alternatives.
All I can see is a young man on the move who wants to bring success to his country. His policy seem to be based on an idea to improve the living standard of his people. All the false allegations do not even indicates mistakes made by his administration. This Labour Party has a perfect record. The PM and the Labour party win all the court cases brought against them by its enemies.

HE HAS BADLY FAILED THE COUNTRY.

      March 5, 2014

Emile, you are another hapless pro-labour mouth piece. However, I do agree with the idea that we are sometimes overly critical of the Prime Minister. The man is doing well for himself and for the most part I’m glad when a fellow Dominican does well or succeeds. I just wish our people were not so eager to condone corruption for their own selfish means.

The people will get a chance to speak via their vote as they have in the past. In that way the Dominican voice seems to have approved greatly of this current administration.

If we as a people are ready for change then we will see a new administration if not then this government will remain in power. I believe its that simple.

@ Emile Zapatos Who are those people who are doing nothing and offering no alternatives? Have you listened to the alternative offered by Team Dominica? These are the things which have me excited and encouraged that soon this country will be on a drive to correct the MESS that Skerrit will soon leave it in. Jobs, an international airport, functional institurtions, revamping of agriculture, tourism, essential oil, housing programme, bettering those programmes that are there but are badly managed by Skerrit and the gang, etc etc,.
Guess you need to clean the wax from your ears, and listen to what Team Dominica has to offer.
I LOVE LINTON AND TEAM DOMINICA.

Dominicans need PM Skerrit to address the nation and answer questions on issues such as: 1. Who is the true owner od Blair Court? 2. He needs to address on where he took loan to build his mansion at Vielle case, those Villas and land purchase since his salary and investment don’t agree 3. He needs to tell us where he built the children hospital and who are the doctors employed by him? 4. He needs to address the unemployment sector he put together and the way forward 5. We need him to address the pit latrine issue he introduced so we could have a good understanding on how they will be maintained 6. We need him to tell us why he and his government are not putting more effort in trying to resolve the Christmas day Fire bombing of GON Emmanuel 4 years ago 7. He needs to tell us why ST. Lucia and other windward island countries have made so much more progress Dominica particularly since he became our PM 8. In like manner, he needs to tell us how is that he as an individual has gotton richer than the PM’s of St. Lucia, Grenada, and St. Vincent put together while the people of citizens of those same islands are better off than us here.
Please Mr. Skerrit, do not curse us; just simply answer our questions.

    • .
      March 5, 2014

      1. Already adressed, uwp lost court case and failed to prove property belong to Skerrit.
      2. This sounds personal but if you have allegations of wrongdoing in that department bring it out so we can know.
      3. The PM never spoke about a children hospital maybe the person who spoke about it was planning to build one.
4.What do you want to know about the unemployment sector. Your question is too vague.
      5. He addressed the pit latrine issue. He is seeking to eradicate pit latrines by assisting persons with pit latrines by building them modern latrines.
6.This investigation is ongoing by the Dominica Police Force.
7.Totally false. The other islands were always ahead of us until now. We have actually caught up with them ( see IMF and World Bank reports )
      8. Can you tell me how rich are the other PM’s? Can you tell me how rich is Skerritt? You need more facts to back up your claims.

Uwp claim to be the moral authority on accountability, good governance and transparency but they cannot answer simple questions about their future minister of finance. We have the facts, we have the e-mails, we have the financial reports and the recorded voices of Mr. Fontaine and Shillingford. These are not hearsay these are facts. I’m sure you know where to read the e-mails and listen to the voice recordings.

Is that the same Mr. Skerrit, who at the Heads of Govt. meeting in St. Kitts (30 June-4 July, 2011) voiced his unequivocal support for Muammar Gaddafi and expressed the full solidarity of the Government and the people of Dominica with Muammar Gadaffi and said:
“We are ready to offer all assistance which you need to support the Lybian people…and I myself am proud of the relationship I have with the leader Muammar Gadafi”.
Muammar Gadaffi met an ignominious end barely three months later on 20 Oct. and was exposed for the unbalanced ogre the whole world knew he was.
At the same meeting Roosevelt Skerrit also expressed his support for the African Initiative only to turn around and renege on the African people of the Western Sahara when he signed his deal with Morocco
Today that same P.M. is still backing the regime of President Maduro, which has all the signs of equally being destined for a short live.
Is he betting on the wrong horse again this time? I surely hope not. People of St. Lucia beware!

He has an excellent performance record. Oh my PM, while you are in St. Lucia remember to call on other Caribbean leaders including St. Lucia, to come up with a plan to address corruption as per this report below:

Political leaders in the Eastern Caribbean (EC) have “largely failed” to address concerns of official corruption, according to a report released by the United States State Department.

It said the seven Eastern Caribbean countries – Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines – host abundant transshipment points for illicit narcotics primarily from Colombia and Venezuela destined for North American, European and domestic Caribbean markets.

SMDH. Are you serious? Shows how much you understand about the construction and relationship between politics, governance, international crime syndicates, the international trade in narcotics, along with a basic understanding of capitalism’s most important principle of supply and demand. And do you know what percentage of members of Congress who become (and are indeed) millionaires by the time they serve their first term? And trust me, there is yawning gap between their lawful earnings and wealth by the time they serve just two years. Try using another measuring stick/country to substantiate your point. The US, never mind its bellyaching, is NO example when it comes to clean government. Beats me that so many of us what to hold up the US as the beacon of laudable virtues.

My PM, during your address to the SLP to don’t hesitate to highlight the following:
    1. Your personal secret for success after ten years in power. Tell them how you could not even afford a bicycle in 2000 when you first got into the cabinet and how I manage to become the richest Caribbean Prime Minister 10 years later.

    2. Be sure to tell them that good and effectively leadership is doing everything to ensure the people are unemployed, the country is getting poorer and poorer each day, nationals have to depend on the red clinic to feed their families and yes, the crime rate is increasing everyday.

    3. Don’t forget to encourage them to declare war on pit latrine even if they have to use pash cocoa (cocoanut fiber) and stones to wipe their bottom because they cannot afford to pay water bill.

    5. Tell them how they need to forget about hospital and spend $27 Million on a state palace instead even if it is finished but the developers are not letting you in.

    6. Tell them how you successfully built a children’s hospital somewhere in the sky where no one can get to.
So yes my PM, you have a lot to brag about and we laborites, especially those of us on the team, still wondering how to correct our political mistake.

    Hello wicked PM Advisor,
Stop spreading untruths about this blessed land o Dominica. I choose to refuse to challenge you on other things you said but please, we all know that children do not paid $5.00 for food at schools. They are expected to make a $1.00 contribution which you know very well, cannot buy a hot lunch for any child, not in Canada, America, England or Dominica. Many students are still exempted from paying that $1.00. Some schools have taken it on their own to charge more $2.00 or $3.00)so that the school will employ a cook instead of parents getting up from watching Young and Restless and go help prepare the meals. Those parents choose and agreed to take that route on THEIR OWN. Any child eating at school and have to pay $5.00 for lunch is because the school operates its own canteen and that school sells lunch to raise funds for whatever reason.
Be guided, and give thanks for your many blessings.

Prime Minister in your address to the St Lucia Labour Party tell them how well the Dominican economy is performing and how Dominica is now more advanced than St Lucia because:
    1. You upgrading from pit latrine to flush toilets but the beneficiaries can’t use it since they have no septic tank and pipe borne water
    2. You feeding children in school, only that parents must pay $5.00 a day for the children to get the food
    3. You are employing the unemployed through a $8,000,000.00 grant from the Venezuelan Government… Your unemployed programme is called the National Employment Program (NEP) and you placing those employed in the private sector, but especially businesses supporting the DLP… you not sure what will happen after the funding ends
    4. The air port is now upgraded with night landing but no new airlines since we still don’t have an international airport and even though we invested $8,000,000.00 n LIAT this has not made a difference in arrivals into Dominica
    5. You building a coffee factory to bag coffee produced in Venezuela
    6. That Chinese national have now taken over 60 percent of the general merchandize trade in Roseau, and Roseau’s commercial landscape now resembles China town with a lot of junk products, sub standard quality, and over priced goods…
    7. Tell them why you afraid to call the early elections you promised

And also for your information 95% of Dominica has pipe borne water and by July this year Dominica will be the first island in the Caribbean to achieve 100% pipe born water…. So put that in your pipe and smoke it…. FWS – (WICKED SOUL)

Well, some of us have our flushing toilets so what do we care about those who have to use pit latrines.
Do they refuse any of the children in school lunch if their parents do not have the $5.
This NEP is a new program. According to World Bank and IMF unemployment and poverty in Dominica was already greatly reduced.
American Airlines left Winair and Seabourne replaced them.
The coffee factory will create significant employment for Dominica. It will only get better when we are able to produce our own coffee.
Roseau does not look like China Town to me. Chinese have taken over 60% of general merchandise trade? Where did you get that figure? Do you know how many Chinese are there in Dominica? And why do you continue to patronize them instead of your local businesses?
We already know why you all want elections to call early. It will be called when the time is right.

Please ask your party leader why is he promoting a man who as the treasurer of a private organization transferred the organization’s funds into his private account, cannot give account in his records for said transaction and now we are learning that lands which were willed to the organization cannot be accounted for and that the said treasurer coincidentally, recently registered a portion of land in his name in the same area that some of the aforementioned land was supposed to be, with no recorded transaction of purchase for said land and that the treasurer in question during the period of when all this occurred defaulted on several credit card payments and his house was in foreclosure. Why is he promoting this man as his future minister of Finance? A lot of questions need to be answered here, don’t you think?

Good comments but coffee will be coming from Nicaragua, not Venezuela, which does not produce enough itself at the moment as many of its farmers refuse to grow it because of the low intervention price their Govt. pays them for their crop.

Yes indeed. Successful at fattening his pocket and creating an an atmosphere of dependence. Successful at insulting the people and doing what he please with no accountability to Dominicans. SUCCESSFULL INDEED at disregard to the constitution and exposing the ccj as a joke in there ability to clarify the constitution of member states. Successful at destroying the manufacturing and agri industry. I think he is admired for his ability to be prime minister for this long after treating his country with such disrespect.

@Bogoroy You are so darn correct. He has been very or extremely successful. However it is for self. He has caused you to be a beggar, having to grovel to him to buy bread or biscuit if you want to eat. He has made you his slave and paro, so that whenever you get a $20.00 from him at the Red Clinic you will see him as God.
HOWEVER HE WILL SOON BE BOOTED OUT AT THE NEXT ELECTION, and his wicked, vicious, evil and dictatorial reign over our island will come to an end.
