Royer confident he can snatch Salisbury seat

Dominica Labour Party candidate for the Salisbury by-election Bentley Royer says he is ready to lead the people of that constituency.

The DLP held its first ‘victory train’ in Coulibistrie on Friday, to officially endorse its new candidate. Royer said the United Workers Party was not serious about representing the people.

“During the last election campaign I told you that the UWP have no intention to represent you. They have done this before and doing it now is no secret. I can recall during the period after Hurricane Dean, when the Prime Minister wanted to help the farmers, your former leader said the farmers were being bought. They have proven time and time again that representing the people is not what they are after,” he said.

According to Royer, the UWP keeps talking about corruption and not about development.

“This is proof that these people have no intention to represent you,” he added.

Meantime Deputy Leader of the DLP Ambrose George told last night’s gathering that if the people of Salisbury take their lives seriously, they will vote for Royer.

The DLP also officially endorsed Dayton Baptiste on Saturday evening. Baptiste will contest the Marigot seat for the DLP.

Let me tell you dream lover how labourites are hungry in lay man terms. 98% of you labourites voted for the shoe which has began to kick ur alls … simpley because you got money from the red clinic, LPO, cash, can stuff such as sardines, cornbeef (where the food stuff that came from venezuela) A van load of it was shared in the soufriere constituency around 6 pm the eve of the election in an area called green valley when the uwp ites were assemblin to do their constituency mortocade. The pictures are there for proof. When one is voting one should think of what the person can do for the country morally not what the person can do for my pocket and stomach immorally. by immorally I mean accepting things from venezuela, china, Japan at any cost even if it means allow the caribbean sea which surrounds Dominica to be dirty with drugs, I stop hear

How many haitians did they register in the two constiuencies since the earth quake?

Dominicans and haitians are so blind that they dont see how the French Men are using them once again to divide and rule.

How many wars did France fight to get control over the resources of Haiti and Dominica?
