Dominica News Online has caught up with Prime Minister Skerrit and asked him what he really discussed with the American President.
According to the Prime Minister he asked Obama to play a greater role in providing scholarships for Dominicans to study in the US.
He said they did not talk about ALBA, Venezuela and Cuba.

The writer of that article asked two pointed questions that would shape the discussion,but it seems most postings here are just focused on trivial things rather than engage in a good educated debate as to what they are or should be discussing about.
I hope that they were talking about the US’s increased rapprochement with its ‘backyard’ regoinal states or our PM jokingly scolding Mr. Obama for not providing more scholarships and assistanceships to allow more low-income people from the region to enter the US to earn higher degrees or enhanced training and skills and at the same time, develop a mechanism that they must come back and work for their country states.
