LIAT, The Caribbean Airline, congratulates the Government and People of Barbados as the country marks 49 years of political independence.
Barbados gained independence on 30th November 1966.
LIAT Chief Executive Officer David Evans said Barbadians at home and abroad have good reason to celebrate, adding that they should be appreciative of their many accomplishments over the past 49 years.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and Staff, it gives me great pleasure to extend heartfelt congratulations as you celebrate 49 years as an independent nation. We extend our best wishes for continued progress and development,” Mr. Evans said.
Barbados is LIAT’s largest shareholder and Grantley Adams International Airport serves as one of the airline’s main hubs.
One accomplishment should be to eradicate or decrease crimes. While they celebrate independence, crimes are skyrocketing. Note what occurred to a Dominican student.
When crimes decrease, then independence will be something to genuinely celebrate.
Is that all you are capable of doing? Wishing government congratulations on their birthday and not providing service, especially Dominica. LIAT LIAT!!
