LIAT resumes services to St. Kitts and Nevis

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, February 19, 2010 – LIAT wishes to advise that it has resumed services to the Robert L. Bradshaw Airport in St. Kitts and the Vance W. Amory Airport in Nevis.

LIAT was forced to suspend services Thursday afternoon because of the presence of airborne volcanic ash over from the Soufriere Hills Volcano.

Due to the ongoing emissions from the volcano, any wind change could affect LIAT’s operations into and out of the islands of Antigua, St. Kitts and Nevis.

LIAT will continue to assess the situation and provide further updates as necessary.
