Sorry if i did disappoint you that person, i fear my creator not no man and i must tell you the bible Gods words are very clear, i will send you to scriptures so you will understand my Creator words. Matt 5;17 to 19 ‘do not think that i have come to do away with the law of MOSES and the teachings of the prophetsbut to make their teachings come true further he knew we would forget his words so 18 came stronger and said Remember that as long as heaven and earth last not the least point nor the smallest detailof the law will be done away with not until the end of all things and 19 sums it up it you disobey the result you will be LOST and if you abey you will gain life everlasting. God knew we would say is MOSES who wrote the 10 commandment and mankind would get reason to chance the day he the creator wrote with his own hands and establish the 10 commandments including the Sabbath and said it is HOLY SO Exodus 20; 1 said God spoke and these were his words continue and check the rest of the verse but the Sabbath check it from 8,commandments continued dont steal, respect your mum and dad, dont murder so you do the rest please i beg you check Exodus 34;28 and Deuteronomy 10;4 and you will see what Moses and God did and i think you would better under the Sabbath. The new testament is also strong with the Sabbath made the point christ always went to worship on the sabbath even at death he respected the Sabbath after the thise from the grave check Luke 23; 50 -56 and Luke 24; 1-6 this is to tell you the Sabbath day is sandwhich between crucifion and resurrection day. As your Mayor am proud to worship on his day and not man’s day.if you wish to get more lesson check me at [email protected], i fear no man.

Dominican, u have a grip with the Mayor nuh. Remember in the bible the three hebrew boys and Daniel were Saturday Sabbath worshippers, and when the jealouse people like u wanted to get rid of them, see what happen to them. dont touch the Father people. Any way, there is only one sabbath day according to the bible. That is the day The Lord our God anointed and blessed and made Holy. That day is Saturday, so if the Mayor choses to obey God rather than man. Why u vex so. You vex with Jesus too, because every Sabbath the Lord Jesus would go to synaguo to worship.

Jobs being created for their boys, while Public Works employees are fired after not receiving payment for several weeks. Govt proposes 2% and 3% for its public servants but create Big, Big Govt. Ministers like peas. They get their pay every month with additional perks and allowances for health, travel, telephone, and what comes under the table or from secret deals. DLP did not ask Dominicans for the 50% increase, although it is the taxpayers money paying them, but grabbed an increase without their consent.

Farmers are bawling especially with the long period of drought. Bobol with fertilizer… Dominicans only got to know after the damage was done and the secret deal exposed. Were they thinking of the plight of the farmers? Surely a big NO. Nothing is happening to ease the plight of farmers working hard to ensure our food security. Agriculture has been placed by that GOVT, not even on the back burner, but in reverse gear. Explain to the Dominican people NANTON, what really is your role in the PM office? Another adviser like Lambert? Big salary for hardly any work to show? People are hearing of all those meetings but hardly any positive outcomes. The region is facing serious food insecurity and that is not adequately addressed to the satisfaction of the people.

The calypsonian Yakima gave us some reasons in her popular song. Selfish, greedy for the money. Yakima chanted, ‘Those whose names are on the list have become addicted to the new drug on the market..’

When is this PM gonna stop all those travelling and attend to the needs of the local Dominican people. From the time this PM got into office in 2009 he has spent more time away from home than home itself.

Greg, stop being ridiculous. Dominica is part of the ECCU, OECS and ECCB Monetary Council. and decision taken by these bodies have an impact on Dominica. The PM must attend meetings of this nature. We are not an island in the sea surviving on our own without the influences of outside forces. This is part of the business of the nation.

I need to sk the Mayour of the city of Roseau, he needs to respect peoples Sabbath Day. He does not organize anything on his sabath which is Saturday. If you invite him to a function on a Saturday he will not show up. Why is he organizing the city walk on Sunday? Please respect peoples day of worship,. I remember when the community day of service fell on a Saturday they did not participate because it was their sabath. RESPECT OTHERS.

    • As I see It
      April 9, 2010

      Dominican,

There is only one Sabbath and it is God’s Sabbath and not peoples Sabbath. There is no place in your Bible where Sunday is ordained by God as Sabbath.
The mayor seems to respect God more than you do.

soory who ever you are, the bible is very clear on the Sabbath, and Jesus in HIS WORDS said in Matt 5; 17 to 19 that he didnot come to take away the law of mosesand the teachings of the prophets but he came to make their teachings come true. 18 is so powerful, the Jesus knew we would forget HIS Sabbath, he said,’ Rememberas long as heaven and earth last not the least point nor the smallest detail of the law will be done away with not until the end of all things and 19 spoke if you disobey the least of his commanments and you teach others to do the same you will be LOST but if you disoey the Kingdom of heaven will pour out blessing to you. w

Has Emmanuel Nanthan taken away Shawn Douglas position? I really head something like that long ago ?

ADMIN: Sean Douglas is still the Government Press Secretary. Nanthan was re-located to Douglas’ office, while Douglas was moved to GIS.
