The strike is nothing to do with LIAT. It is the Airport Security in Antigua which is on strike and as a result of that flights have to rescheduled. NOT LIAT this time around.

Hi folks; is LIAT responsible for the security personnel at the Antigua Airport? If not, then LIAT is not at fault. Or am I missing some facts?

But hang on nuh, we can’t comprehend man? I know we all want to jump on Liat’s back but please read the story carefully. Liat’s staff did not go on strike, the security personell at the VC Bird International Airport are on strike which means that there is either limited or non-existent security at the airport, a requirement for travelling. So Liat is advising that flights may be affected because of the security personell’s actions. This time Liat is in the clear so give them their kudos for today. :)
