St. Lucian police say anti-crime initiative a success

The St Lucia police say their anti-crime initiative introduced earlier this year is proving to be a success are pointing to a 33 per cent reduction in firearm related crimes on the island.

The police said that during the first five months of this year, there has also been a 34 per cent decrease in robbery, 22 per cent in stolen vehicles, a 17 per cent drop in burglary and a seven per cent decrease in narcotics.

    Do they have an acting chief of police, or(boss crook) like Dominica? Bring back the real police chief(Mr.Jon.baptiste) to get real results.

    These people are corrupted especially the police selling passports and that’s no hear say it’s facts… I was born Dominica lives in toronto but now working in st.lucia and dude that lives next door who is a china man brags everyday how her paid to be a st.lucian…. crime can’t stop if corruption doesn’t ..

    The Govt and the Police must be tough on crime in order to see that positive reduction. Good job St. Lucia…let the rest of the countries incluiding ours follow in your foot steps.
