Gary, I do not care in what context the term is used there can never be any form of resiliency against the elements over which no human have any control!

Now if the idea is for Dominica to quickly recover from disasters such as Erika, I can understand that; however, in Dominica, quick recovery is simply a phantasy; considering the nation operates in bankruptcy; for a country to recover quickly from aftermath such as Erika, it calls for billions of dollars in the immediate future. And the billions must be in a Dominica bank.

Can you tell me when last in all your years of living you heard Dominica government have a billion dollars in its treasury, secured in a bank? The definition of the word resilient is precise.

Roosevelt has fallen in love with a word he never knew existed; prior to his fascination with the word, he said ” we are “invincible.” Humans are expendable, the same as how there is no resiliency to the elements.

W need a leader who will invest in up dating our infrastructure . Dominica is still looking like when I used to go to Grammar School in the 1980’s. The same paint of the walls and corner streets .
Skeritt does not have the moral and ethical capacity to do it so we have to get him out ,

Moral and ethical capacity is not what’s needed to invest and update our infrastructure, money is what needed. To suggest quote “Dominica is still looking like when I used to go to Grammar School in the 1980’s. ” is somewhat ludicrous, and dishonest why write such nonsense.

According to Roosevelt, he wants Dominica to be the first Resilience Country in the world. Their was a dialogue held in St St.Kitts on 15th February termed, the ECCB’s 2nd Growth and Resilience Dialogue, we would like him to also publish a video of what went on at that meeting.

What  you need to do is ask Roosevelt what new science he is going to implement in Dominica, in order to create an resilient Dominica?

Let him tell the world what form of obeah (voodoo) he intends to use to prevent Dominica from bending, or breaking, or getting messed up by the elements which are beyond human control!

“Resilience” is defined as the capability of a strained body to recover its size, and shape after deformation caused by compressive stress or the ability to recover easily , or adjust to change, or misfortune.

“Resilient” simply means capable of withstanding shock without permanent deformation or rupture (breaking). Roosevelt is simply playing with words: (the English language) trying to impress stupid people, not knowing he is making a fool of himself.

I do not care in what forum the term is used there cannot be any form of resiliency to nature. There is nothing Roosevelt can do to prevent an earthquake, hurricane, or flooding from destroying Dominica or…

It has been five months since Hurricane Maria, and you still haven’t understood the context in which the word “resilient” is used, wow so long for your ignorance and pretend authority.

Skerrit is accountable to ALL Dominicans my friend, and you and he better remember that

    February 16, 2018

Skerrit is asking for Dominicans to support the CBI program BLINDLY.

Again….we are not against the program but the absence of proper accountability of the program under your management.

And as long as you are not willing to provide proper accountability with financial checks and balance we will keep asking questions about the CBI program.

Ehm, ehm, ehm… you know…. ehm, ehm, ehm… My 5 year old grandchild can speak better than you, Sir! Skerrit you talked for quite a while but in essence you said nothing. However I noticed you said that you invited people in ‘your country’ for consultantion on the CBI program and nobody showed up. What a bold lie. You mean to tell me that you have to travel all the way to St. Kitts at taxpayers expense to come out with this desperate political propaganda and rethoric? Even the governor of the bank turned his head and looked at you. Man, how far are you prepared to go to serve your own agenda and of course that of your cabal (I noticed all the thumbs up from a number of ‘prominent’ Dominicans at home and abroad). Well at least we get to know slowly the ‘righteous’ people behind the scenes.

“I noticed you said that you invited people in ‘your country’ for consultation on the CBI program and nobody showed up.”

Well, he may not be lying this time; but the reality is simply this whereas Roosevelt has now based Dominica’s economy on the sale of passports, and the other islands of the Caribbean are into bigger and better things, nobody want to sit and listen to a nobody talking nonsense about how to ripoff their country.

Consultation: Let us think of that in medical terms; it means  a deliberation between physicians on a case, or the treatment of a disease. We have a  Sir Knight Dr. Punjab Roosevelt Skerrit eh, the other none doctors did not want to be consulted by a doctor who’s English vocabulary is so poor they would not comprehend him!

The bottom line is Which prime Minister in the  region have time to listen to Roosevelt, how can a man who’s country is worst off than the consult nations which are more progressive than his own?

Why are you trying to implicate your precious five yr old grandchild in your cynical comment. I will also tell you that you are reckless with your facts. The Government did have a two-day conference which was held at the Fort Young Hotel in Dec. 2016 in to discuss The CBI program. The Government invited all the stakeholders including the opposition and they boycotted the event. Your quick response to condemn The PM and call him a liar shows how vicious you are with your political partisan beliefs, it is your trademark, such behavior and tactics will not help your cause.

Poor you! Francisco. You are really sick and needs to see a doctor. You are suffering from “SKERROTICIS”. It will take you 15 years before there might be a possible cure to your problem.

      • February 16, 2018

        @KID ON THE BLOCKFebruary 16, 2018

Although I believe that you are speaking the truth; you sound funny the way you say that.

But I think that fifteen years is way too much and too far, with the present age things could get far, far worse. I would say like 15 weeks; but that too, could be too late

Also, the saying goes like that: “Once a man twice a child;” I believe that our friend is way into his second childhood state; for who, in their adult state of mind would write and speak so foolishly and repeatedlyas well

      • Francisco Etienne-Dods Telemaque

You would be much better off if you said “Rich Francisco” because I am not poor!

I am financially sound, and least of all accademically educated to a level which Roosevelt will never get close to.

And to the fool who believe I jealous or hate Roosevelt, be informed Roosevelt does not have anything in this life that money can buy, that I cannot buy: And know this; every dime I have I worked hard, very hard to earn that dime!

I am not Ali Baba in any way shape or form: If am ever audited by the IRS (Internal Revenue Services) of the United States, all I need to do is present all of my Income Tax Returns which I filed over the past thirty years since arriving in the United States, showing how much I earned from employment, and how much I earned from my investments.

Can your boy Roosevelt say  that: I challenge him, with your help to make such a declaration! I am an honest man!
