Wednesday, October 26, 2016, Stock Farm, Dominica – Gideon International presented the Dominica State College (DSC) with New Testaments and Bibles at a small ceremony on the Stock Farm campus on Monday, October 24, 2016.
Present at the ceremony were representative of Gideon International Bro. R. Rothwell, International Outreach Caribbean Supervisor, Bro. Alfred Leevy, President Local Camp, Justin Nibbs, Camp Secretary and Matthew George.
Representing the College were Ms. Beverly Leblanc, Dean of Student Development and International Affairs, Ms. Rosamund Rolle, Club Advisor of the Catholic Club, Abigail Hamilton Secretary of Department of Student Development and International Affairs, Kernita Delsol Secretary of General Studies and students representing the faith-based clubs on campus.
In her brief remarks, Dean LeBlanc welcomed the initiative and express gratitude to Gideon for considering the Dominica State College in such a venture. She reminded the students present that the word of God is what will guide them in the journey campus particular the book of Proverbs, which provide words of wisdom and instruction of everyday life.
Ms. Rolle also expressed thanks on behalf of the Catholic Club and assured the Gideon representatives that the Testament will be used during the faith-based activities of the club. The students were also addressed by Mr. Alfred Leevy, President of the local camp and Bro R. Rothwell, who gave a brief history of the Gideon International and the work that they have done worldwide. He expressed the importance of their job; distributing bibles all over the world. Through these bibles, people have found salvation; they were saved from depression and were lifted up during difficult times.
Bro. Rothwell further explained it is the organization’s belief that the bibles being spread across the globe will touch the lives of people. He shared more about the work of the Gideon’s International and his function, which is to go through the Caribbean sharing the scriptures and spreading the message of Salvation.
He also described some of his experiences while working with the organization as well as sharing information about Gideon Bible App, where students are able to read and listen to the scriptures. He also explained to the student the relevant of the Bible and their course work. He said in the Bible you can find areas relating to math, science and other disciplines.

I do not know about jail, I’ve never been there; but I been into hospitals here, and never saw a Gideon placed Bible. Nevertheless, every Hotel I registered into I found the false religion of The Mormons Bible placed there by the Gideons. The book of Mormons (bible) is not the written word of God, it is the philosophy of a man who has committed mass murder, and encouraged polygamy.

Why Did King James oversee the translation ensuring it met a certain criteria?, Why are there books missing..? Why were people burnt at the stakes for having translations other than the Latin Bible? I don’t know if you will ever read this but,your thoughts here are not completely accurate. There is no history to the Bible, except it is the true written word of God.
Nobody can write anything about the Bible to supercede the word of God; anything anyone wish to know about God is all in the Bible, and as for this slavery talk has nothing to d with God word, people missed used the word of God, but you should not allow that to be the basics on which you came to such conclusion.

The above is self-explanatory. Those people who go to countries and a small one as Dominica, a predominantly Catholic country, saying they go to proclaim Our Lord Jesus Christ and to save souls obviously do not know the above in Romans or they ignore it.
What they do is to indoctrinate them to renounce their religion and to join theirs. What a huge mistake they made. One day they will find out their error. Some who have predeceased us already know.

After you read this read back what you wrote and figure out if what you wrote is verbatim to what is in the Roman Catholic Bible, be very careful with what thus said the Lord!
The people of Dominica need the gospel.
There is only one gospel. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans 1:16, Galatians 1:8,9. We are mandated to “go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15.
People need to know that religious ceremonies and rituals cannot save them. They cannot earn salvation by doing good works. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8,9)
On the cross at Calvary by suffering, bleeding, and dying for us the Lord Jesus paid the price in full for our salvation. Seconds before He expired He cried with a loud voice – with a shout of triumph – “IT IS FINISHED :!:” (John 19:30)
People can only be saved by believing this good news. They must stop trusting their own good works to take them to heaven, and trust Christ – Christ – alone
They must cast their all upon what HE did for them and the cross and that alone.
It is by believing that JESUS PAID IT ALL and trusting this alone we are saved and no other way.

One day while visiting a mall in a Canadian city a Gideon worker who had a table set up handed me a copy of the New Testament and told me they were distributing them in BOTH public Protestant AND private Catholic Schools.
I asked him what kind of reception they received in the Catholic Schools. Without any hesitation he told me “We receive a better reception in Catholic Schools than we do in some Protestant Schools.” From our conversation it became obvious to me Gideons appreciate the Catholic participation AND Catholics welcome the Gideon Bibles and Testaments.
You should know the Gideon workers would not be able to distribute these books in a Catholic School without the approval of the local priest and he could not grant that permission without the approval of the bishop.

When I became a naturalized Canadian, a group which I think was the Salvation Army, distributed Bibles, The Good News Testament. I took it. Later I gave it to a Hindu teenager. Her family and mine, we are friends.

I respect the religion of people (we must) as much as there are too many of them in the world which cause division, disunity, animosity and confusion. However, the truth must be told and taught without watering it down. These non Catholic Bibles do the latter. They commenced with Calvin, Martin Luther and Henry VIII – the King James version; too many more of them.
There is only one true Church as well as only one Holy Bible just as there is one God and one Heaven. Never stated that before. I hope it is through inspiration.

The Roman Catholic Bible are precisely the same, except where it pertains to verses, The Roman Catholic verses lags behind the verses in their chapters in Protestants Bible; whereas they left out the Book of the Maccabees in the Protestant Bible there is a reason for that.
If you have a Roman Catholic Bible you will find it contains the Books of the Maccabees; and the reason the Protestants left them out is because there is nothing mentioned in them about Jehovah God, and Jesus Christ; all you read in the Maccabees is about wars fought by the Son’s of Nun: That is the is one of the reasons they are not found in the Protestant Bible.

I am not aware of any religious organization in the world that is held in any higher esteem than The Gideons by both Roman Catholic and Evangelical believers.
When I was in elementary school in Canada – I think it was grade five – I received a little red Gideons New Testament. As my wife and I travel we often stay at a hotel where there is a Gideons Bible in the room. At this moment I have one of their New Testaments on my computer table.

If you are distributing New Testament; and complete Bibles in some parts of the world, while at the same time distributing the Book of Mormons which is not the written word of God in Hotels across America, as a bible; that to me is confusion.
The Bible plainly said God is not the author of confusion! Assuming one is looking for God, finds themselves in a Hotel Room, and his first introduction to God comes from a book that is false as the Gideon bible found in Hotels that could cause that person to become involved in false religion, hence loosing his/ her soul!
Do not trust these bibles. Look up the ‘Mandela Effect’ on Google. These satanists have CHANGED the bible to suit their own purposes. The only bible that can be trusted in the King James Authorised Version. Even then you will see that the ‘Mandela Effect’ has changed the words.

I’m not sure what version these are, but the Gideon bibles I’ve seen in hotel rooms in the U.S. actually were the King James Version. That said, the King James Version may be an exemplary work of literature in its own right, but it’s not a particularly accurate translation of the source material. So beware who you tag as “satanists”.
The King James Bible is not the first one. The Catholic Church first got the Bible, as God ordained. Martin Luther and Henry VIII who had that Bible took off some chapters of it. King James version is based on their teaching. They watered it down. Know the history of Martin Luther and Henry VIII.
The problem is, there are too many different Bibles just as too many different religions. Thus commenced the massive confusion of various interpretations.
On that day the truth will be revealed to the deniers, doubters and the complacent.
I reiterate Catholics, stick to your Catholic Bible. It is not a watered-down version of any other Bible.
Praise the Lord!!! Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess whether now or later that Jesus Christ is Lord!!! You can choose to believe today or die in your sins. However, when you die and you cross over you will find out what lies there. Look not on how others live their lives as everyone has their own appointment with God and they will be the only one to stand for themselves. No family, friend or foe that has pass will ever come back to tell you whether or not heaven is for real so make your appointment sure.

If everyone read and knew their bibles, we wont need constitutions and even be begging for constitution. at the end we must get back to the basics of life and what really matters. So instead of seeking for a copy of Dominica constitution, ask for a bible, guard your heart and save your soul. This is what is important

This is why prisons make Bibles available to their prisoners. There are prisons in the U.S.A. that have become faith based institutions with strong ministry programs to address the spiritual needs of the inmates.
