World Marriage Day was observed today Sunday, February 18, 2018. The Marriage Encounter and Engaged Encounter Movement brought together dozens of married and engaged couples for a celebration of the occasion at the Fatima Church in New Town.
Monsignor William Jno Lewis was the celebrant and the theme of his message was Covenant, Repentance and Baptism.
EDITOR’s NOTE: The messages published on Sunday Sermon are not restricted to Monsignor Jno Lewis and DNO welcomes other relevant and appropriate contributions from any other priest, pastor or spiritual leader.
Such garbage…amazes me what people will say to hide behind ridiculous church “laws”
Since you are promoting marriage, and you might be an authority on marriage, I must ask you one very important question!
Where are your wife, and children?
Where do get the nerve from to talk about marriage when you rather be burnt according to the Bible than having your own wife? You are another of the hypocrites who believes in Roman ideology, and philosophy, rather than the word of God Jehovah, and Jesus Christ.
You all Roman Catholics, and your god you call pope claims that Peter was the first pope; which is a blatant lie, in the word of God there is no such thing as a pope, since the word pope means papa, defined as father!
In any event Peter had a wife, and if he had a wife he must had sexual intercourse and produced children, where are your children and wife?
In Matthew 23; the Bible teaches ” call no man on earth father, so if that be the case why would God ordained some pope ( papa)?
To you, mister LA here is a conversation between Jesus and His disciples: He had spoken to them pertaining getting married and considering or getting divorced, and His lecture was very firm on the case of divorce.
And by the way wife or no wife, husband or no husband, married or not married, the relationship which is based on “sexual conduct” has nothing to do with the Spirit, it is the lust or passion of the flesh–God’s Holiness wants nothing to do with that conduct. As the Apostle John tells us: “The lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh and the pride of existence is not of the Father, it is of the World”
Sexual conducts, even between the Pope and his wife, if that was part of the principle, that conduct is related to the sin which Eve committed with the wicked Angel Lucifer, causing her stupid husband to partake in it
So here is part of the conversation between Jesus and His disciples. Having heard how stern Jesus was about the subject of divorce, one of His disciples suggested: “If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is better not to marry.”
But He said to them: “All cannot accept this saying, but only those to whom it has been given. For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it.”
Jesus is saying that “The man who can live without sexual conducts” let him do so. So He is not condemning marriage, but He is saying that the practice of CELEBACY is a gift, a choice, or a culture of man. Hence the Pope, Bishop, Nun, and Priest, are following a culture–which is the LAW of their RELIGION, that is why that practice is constantly, out of control.
Your comment makes no sense. My brother Francisco is right, even though I am not a religious person. Every man has sexual needs and it’s natural that men have sexual needs which need to be fulfilled. Even you, as a woman, have your sexual needs so don’t be hypocritical.

I am not surprised to read that comment of yours, in that you are the natural man, with that carnal condition, you have no wisdom and understanding about the things of the Spirit of God, for you do not know Him!
And so your comment has no grip (substance) against mine, especially that Francisco is your brother until he brings up a conversation about Christianity to you. Unless you two are both the hypocrites, for I am sure that it is not me
I agree francisco
AMEN, I listened to the entire Mass on DBS, indeed it was a great celebration. To God Be the Glory. Hats of to choir and congregation for the heartfelt singing and to Msgr excellent preaching.
