Six young ladies from Grand Fond to Delices will take to the stage on February 8 as they aim to capture the crown in the Miss South East Pageant.
They will appear in five rounds of competition: casual, swim wear, talent, evening wear and question and answer.
They are Desra Cuffy of La Plaine, Jesse Prince from Grand Fond, Joyita Jno Baptiste from Riviere Cyrique, Lyanna Ulysess from La Plaine, Octavia Prosper from Delices and Tracy Pascal from Morne Jaune.
The show is to be held at People’s Park in La Plaine from 8:00 pm.
The young ladies will all be appearing at the opening parade of Mas La Plaine on February 3, starting from 2:00 pm.
The parade begins at Jones Beaupierre School and ends at Willies Junction with speeches from various leaders in the communities.
The pageant and parade are being hosted by the La Plaine Youth Sports Academy.

yes DNO, i took the opportunity to google laplaine dominica and there are so many beautiful photos of the place i also saw the ugly pic that u chose. A pic of the rivers, mountains, beach, ppl on the beach with the turtle etc would do just fine. Y u choose that ugly pic trying to kill our lil village tourism capability???? LOL
