Skerrit announces $70 million road improvement project for Kalinago Territory

PM Skerrit addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Kalinago Territory

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has announced that over $70 million will be spent on road improvement in the Kalinago Territory commencing in the first quarter of 2020.

He made the announcement during the council’s inauguration which was held at the Kalinago Barana Aute recently.

Skerrit remarked on the importance of understanding the road network to economic prosperity.

“We are going to have a major road improvement programme here in the Kalinago Territory from Sineku all the way down to Pagua and we will spend about $70 million on that section,” he said.

According to the prime minister, the funds are already available for that project.

“The funds are available. We have signed the loan agreement with the World Bank; they have done the designs,” Skerrit stated.

He continued, “We are now moving towards the tender for this project so that it will elevate and enhance the quality of the infrastructure in the Kalinago Territory.”

Skerrit is a waste of time and no one in Dominica must take this failed political clown Skerrit seriously or even consider him as a person who has reduced our people to deep poverty, as beggars and to be stuck to him to receive handouts like uncle hypocrite. This is a state of dependency and buying our poor people to vote for this failed corrupted Labour government, supposedly headed by this failed immature, childish Skerrit.
Dominica needs change and we need highly trusted people with some evel of decency, respect and good government in our Dominica. Skerrit, you are a loser, a failure and we need to have an account for our states finances.
We need change and now and we therefore proudly and openly say that we welcome Hon. Lennox Linton and his highly, trusted professional UWP Team. That is what will make Dominica move on and back to that level of decency and not planned states thievery, abuse of states funds, the corrupted Red Clinic the Bin Bobol. Skerrit you must Go you failed…

It is alleged that recently a US team was hired to do political damage control assessment and it was concluded that DLP would lose the next election if certain strategies were not employed. Skerrit’s strategy is to anger people to the point of civil unrest so he can declare a state of emergency and impose martial law thereby postponing the election. Let’s see how that works with the Kalinago people. It is said, “when you’ve got nothing, you’ve got nothing to lose.”

sorry Sir, for security reasons I cannot disclose my source.
But don’t you think my posting deserve the same treatment as that of Child of Itassi above.
So as a media outlet why don’t you conduct a poll to prove me wrong. You can do some research on massive silent majority.
Let me add that if elections were held today the DLP would win hands down with a 21 to 0 majority. Money talks !

Skerrit, “You have to be a madman to change etc..etc..” This is the voice and ailing tone of a failed man called Skerrit that we heard on the news this morning. Skerrit and his corrupted scared Labour group are running with fear and panick. They know that the Labour Party under Skerrit has failed us after a wasteful 20 years in government with this failed, corrupted, immature bogus Labour government and its failed, incompetent Prime Odd Minister Skerrit. Sherrit is a failure and he is scared that the highly professional UWP under our decent and loyal, experienced Hon Lennox Linton. That is the fear of Skerrit (Scare-rit) and is running here and everywhere trying to raise his profile that he has not. Skerrit`s biggest fear is Hon. Linton, and his professional UWP Team. Skerrit will never be able to raise to this level. We all know in government where we work that this man and his failed government should have never been in government. After 19 years Skerrit still illiterate. UWP we…

Skerritt you are too smart for your own good. Dominica has been languishing at the bottom of the OECS ecconomic ladder for the last twenty years. There has been no money to do anything. However in the lead up to the elections there seems to be a money tree and it is bearing season. Ross left Dominica because the Portsmouth hospital was inadequate. Marigot has been without a hospital for years. No money could be found to fund anything. All of a sudden there is money like rolling waves in the sea. Where is it coming from Skerritt? Were you deliberately starving Dominicans? Interestingly all of his projects are due to begin next year. That’s surely after the elections. Have the people forgotten the commitment to begin work on the international airport the day after the 2014 elections? Today not a blade of grass has been cut in preparation for the international airport which was supposed to have commenced five years ago. Where is the money you said was there for that? Did you pocket it?

Skerrit is a real fake you know people. Its all about fanfare and no substance, and all about making Skerrit look good, but the quality of his work is rubbish. Its just talk and more fake talk and he Skerrit and his Madam M and fake Labour government prepare themselves to exit out of our Dominica government and economy that he and his corrupt Labour group has failed us big Time.
Skerrit must Go, we want him out to make way for our decent and good Government to be headed by the decent, trusted name of Hon. Lennox Linton and his highly professional decent UWP Team.
Skerrit remarked on the importance of understanding the road network to economic prosperity. “We are going to have a major road improvement programme here in the Kalinago Territory from Sineku all the way down to Pagua and we will spend about $70 million on that section,” he said. Skerrit has been making these promises for over 19 years has ignored, neglected our people of the Carib Territory. We await or trusted UWP Team.

Let’s pretend we watching a live cricket game between Team Skerrit verses the Kalinago people.
    The bowler is Roosevelt Skerrit:
    wicket keeper is Aliereza Monfared;
    1st slip is Reza Zarrab, 2nd slip is Babak Zanjani; 3rd slip is Paola Zampolli;
in silly mid-off is Mohammed Asaria, and forward short-leg is Kamal Shehada. Anthony Hayden, in mid-off, close to the bowler and NG Lap Seng, is in Mid-on.
Covers is Diezani Madueke, fine-leg is Sam Raphael and long leg is Gerald Burton.
Skerrit is the bowler and the two openers are Kelly Grannaux and Aston Grannaux. Kelly to take strike:
So here comes Skerrit passes the umpire and bowl…NO BALL! shouted umpire Tony Astaphan. And Kelly Grannaux offers no shot. It was a short, wayward delivery but it’s a huge NO BALL! So hugh that even umpire Astaphan calls it no ball.
Ladies and gentlemen after one ball, a NO ball rain has washed out play.
    Result: Game Abandoned

Who the hell does Skerrit thinks that he is fooling? For over 19 years this immature failed incompetent so called Prime (Odd) Minster has been running our country (underground to poverty) that he is now attempting to repent to have we the people and their votes he lost to come back to him. Well, this is not going to happen. Skerrit you have not been this role model that we and our children and families never trusted you and your failed corrupt Labour Government. Your leadership has been exceptionally poor and you have reduced us, our suffering people to begging, poverty and alot of talk, talk, and more you talk loosely attempting to appease us and have us vote you, as you and your failed corrupt labour government have failed us and our Dominica.
Skerrit must Go and please do not come back. Keep this Melissa, who ever she is, away from us. We had enough of your 19 years of failed corrupt Labour government. We had enough of Skerrit. We welcome Hon. Linton and his professional UWP Team

This Guy Skerrit is bankrupting Dominica…Here is why!!!!!

He is owing the Kalingo people $26M dollars a GIFT from Chavez with has no interest and pay back terms. He cannot account for their monies……

But he is now signing agreement with World Bank which has interest and payback terms for 26Million EC to be used for roads in the Kalingo Territory.

This is financial treason against a country by its PM!!!!

Is Skerrit not yet tired of the lies, deceit and disrespect?..I guess not!! But the other side of the question is, are Dominicans not yet tired of the lies, deceipt and disrespect?
Skerrit you have had 20 years in the leadership of the country, 15 of which you occupied the office of Prime Minister. Gasson the jig is up bro..no matter how much longer you stay in office, the answers surrounding your misdealings and mishandling of the economy will still be relevant. Kalinago people, be happy for the road project if it comes to fruition. This is full-blown political gamesnanship. This announcement is strictly for votecatching. The newly announced candidate for the UWP to represent the Kalinago people has struck panic in the DLP camp. For two decades the Kalinago people have been treated like pariahs now with an election at our doorstep here are the Greeks come bearing gifts. So if you do all what had to be done 20 years ago now, we are still behind time. Because what has to be done now, cannot be done. why? because we are only now dealing with issues that are 10 – 20 years overdue. more nonsense. Is those Carib all you can fool. but not me.

He does like to act like is in his pocket the money does come out. Or the world back is HIS or the DLP friend ALONE. Then he does say is money they raised or earned, as if it is part of the taxes collected or passports sold. I personally do not know which money is used from CBI, tax collection or donations and grants. them man does just take money and do things then say is CBI or whatever. Like how they say is CBI money that save Dominica after Maria and Erica, when i know for a fact that we received millions in donated funds and relief aid. But go one spreading lies so that the people who know no better will repeat in in your campaign majjeee trails. That is your legacy. Sell the country indirectly.
