23 teams qualify for football championship

23 teams have so far qualified to go to the next round of the 2012 NBD Primary Schools Football Championships which has been organized by the Sports Division.

These teams are:
1.    St. John’s Primary
2.    Vieille Case Primary
3.    Salybia Primary
4.    Woodford Hill Primary
5.    Paix Bouche Primary
6.    St. Joseph Jr.
7.    Dublanc Primary
8.    Goodwill Primary
9.    Roosevelt Douglas Primary
10.    Massacre Primary
11.    Warner Primary
12.    St. Luke’s Primary
13.    Roseau Primary
14.    Grand  Bay Primary
15.    Convent Preparatory
16.    Newtown Primary
17.    Jones Beaupierre Primary
18.    Wesley Primary
19.    San Sauveur Primary
20.    Delices Primary
21.    Grand Fond Primary
22.    W.S. Stevens Primary
23.    Campbell Primary

However to determine who will get the last available space to make up the twenty-four (24) teams which will advance to the Intermediate round,  the Morne Prosper Primary, Pichelin/Belle Vue Combined, St. Mary’s Primary and Penville Primary will on Friday 24th February 2012 meet in a Play Off  from 10:00 am at the Newtown Savannah.

The Intermediate Round will begin on Wednesday 29th February at two venues.  St. John’s, Vieille Case, Salybia, Woodford Hill, Paix Bouche, St. Joseph Jr. will meet at Portsmouth from 10:00 am while the St. Lukes, Roseau , Grand Bay, Convent Prep, Newtown and Jones Beaupierre Primary Schools will compete against each other from 10:00 am at the Newtown Savannah.

On Wednesday 28th February, Dublanc, Goodwill, RDPS, Massacre, Warner and the Play Off Winner will feature at 10:00 am at the Newtown Savannah while Wesley, San Sauveur, Delices, Grand Fond, W.S Stevens and Campbell will play at Castl

    Good sports division……… expose the youths at primary school, and secondary school school too……. but the next level is for Associations, clubs and communities. YOU SHOULD BE COMPLIMENTED FOR DOING YOUR SHARE. The other “STAKE HOLDERS” should do what they have volunteered to do.
