Doctors who performed surgery on national footballer, Joslyn Prince, says he is now beginning to breathe on his own.
Prince is the lone survivor of the tragic accident which claimed the lives of national football coach, Kurt Hector and national footballer, Norran Jno Hope, in the Pont Casse area.
Surgeon, Dr Theodore Thomas, explained that Prince now has a “clear lung” and although he sustained injuries to his kidney, liver and lungs he was “extremely pleased” with the progress he was making thus far.
“He is coming on well and I am pleased with the progress, given the injuries sustained, he needs all the support and we will care for him,” Dr. Thomas said.
The doctor was asked if there is a need to fly Prince out of Dominica for further medical care and he said “no.”
“The risk of getting infected is greater if that is done, we have what it takes to care for him and we are doing that presently in a very professional and meticulous way and the results are very positive,” he said.
He called on all to “continue to pray for Prince” as he continues his recovery.
You are more than a conqueror Joslyn. I declare the restoration of your health and God’s favor on you.
We all can not stop praying at this time because he still has a long way to go. The good lord will continue to deliver him from his suffering and make him whole again. Hearts off to the praying Dominicans and the wonderful doctors. Mr.Prince you are our true hero.
you know that the lord will never let his children go once they believe that he lives and they trust him you are a hero and you will live to tell the story, For the lord is with you in your every move love the lord for he loves and care for you.
Angels lifted him from where he fell 60ft below into running water, the same angels will continue to guide the hands of the medical pernsonnel who are caring for him. He will continue to full recovery and will be able to testify how Great is the Living God who rescued him from a terrible fate to show that after a dark night the sun shines in all its glory on all of us who are alive.

My Uncle had internal bleeding after getting a blow to the head and suffered a stoke. and was left to die bcause they did not recognise that he was bleeding internally or even to notice that he was not speaking properly and when it was tooo late they wanted to fly and guess what he was left to die.:( so really i praying hard for the doc and staff so they can notice everything that is going on in his body, and change so they can act quickly. no time must he be left alone. ALl the best joslyn.
thank god he is alive. but i just hope we do not regret that boy was not flown out of dominica, to get the best medical treatment because he deserves it and the state can more than afford to pay for it.

You are indeed a hero and I propose that the Government of Dominica names the bridge which they are contemplating on building, after you. Doc, I believe that God can work through you and your team, to save the physical Life of this brave young man–all you need to maintain is your love from God, towards Prince and you virtue of Humility–so to give God the glory because of His work through you.

Thanks and praise to the almighty. Thanks to the medical personnel. That said, we should not let our guard down even post discharge of the patient. I know what has happened to other victims and too late was the cry. So, I an hoping for constant examination, scanning etc for a long time to check the entire system for blood clots, haemorage and tumours. If it necessitates sending him overseas. Let us do it. We have to take infront.

We come together as Dominicans in agreement for the healing and restoration to perfect Health of , our brother our friend our fellow Dominican. We thank you in advance for his recovery..Father you said where two or more agree it is already done. Father we come to you in agreement as a nation, in our multiplied faith and pray that the sum of our faith is at least the size of the mustard seed, because you said that if we at least have the faith of a mustard seed that whatever we ask for in the name Jesus will be granted. Good to hear my boy pap is improving. that’s welcomed news right there. Pap is a national hero and he should be recognized as one. To be in that accident, then climb up and was still able to alert others of the incident and helped prevent more vehicles from going down in that ditch. Its people like Joslen we should be celebrating as national heroes.
God has brought him thus far and he will will never leave him. He survived because god has wonderful things in store for him. To the doctors, nurses, the person who picked him up and drove him to the hospital all who helped in many ways thank you!!!!!.

Glory to God. All praises to the Almighty Father, continue to see him through Lord.
