Dominica national football team expected to do well in Caribbean tournament

The Dominica national football team left the state on Monday to participate in the Caribbean Digicel Football Cup which begins on Tuesday in St. Kitts.

The team enters the tournament boosted by two back to back wins recently over a selected team.

National team coach, Shane Marshall said  the preparation time for the team was not adequate but the players are showing tremendous commitment and he is looking forward to the team performing well in the tournament. The Dominica Team is a ‘new look’ team with over eight new players.

Dominica is grouped with Guyana, St. Kitts and St. Lucia.

They win back to back games. Then there must have been members of the Premier League Champions on the team. In that case, I am confident they definitely will not embarrass Dominican during the next awards ceremony.
