Guess the Olympic committee did not even have the decency to name the coach who was selected to represent the team. It also begs me to ask why was Luan Gabriel not selected for the team. After Dominica and Dominicans went overboard when she ran in London in 2012 dubbing her the next great Dominican athlete. Is it a matter of her calling out the president, Wilson for his mishandling of the London Olympics ticket distribution? Is she being blackballed by the DOC.

I am really happy that she will be departing from Dominica soon to hone her skills in the US.

    One Love Dominicans!!!!

Not that Felix Wilson and Tommy Dorset on a junket again?
Erison Heurtault for the 400 mts.? Man, this American Dominican could not even qualify for the heats in the last Olympics. A British Dominican boxer, who is of a similar caliber. That committee have no shame. Last time it was Dominican skiers of Italian origin, now its disposable athletes to fund their lifestyle. I’m embarrassed to call myself Dominican. Who is going to put a stop to that circus and give our country some real respect?

I do not see a coach or a chaperone on this contingent. It appears that the coaches on the island must begin to leave the training of the athletes to the excutive of the DOC as they are ones who seem to be rewarded whenever a team leaves Dominica for any Game which falls under the auspices of the DOC. Something is wrong with this picture!
