Clara house Rockers have taken the first step toward securing a place in the premier league final of the Digicel domino competition.
Despite their disadvantage of having only four players, the boys from Paix Bouche destroyed Swansea of Pottersville by 1,639 points in the first match in the best of three semi final matches. Final scores: Rockers 4007, Swansea 2378.
In the other semi final match, Dolphins defeated Lagoon by 71 points for a hard fought victory which also places them one match away of the final. Scores: Dolphins 4030, Lagoon 3959.
Game two will be played this weekend when Rockers meet Swansea in Paix Bouche and Lagoon travel to Scotthead to play Dolphins.
In the division one round of sixteen Golden Arms defeated R.C Construction. Scores: Golden Arms 4021, R.C 3420. Layou beat Kingshill Power in a very close match. Scores: Layou 4000, Kingshill Power 3828. Matrix defeated Focus 4004 points to 2671 points; Wake up Stars got the better of Skills by 4010 points to 3780; Smarts Boys outwitted Al Motor Valiant with scores of 4002 to 3668. Lindo Mart Home Boys easily beat Gulf scores 4002 points to 3478 and Timothy Rebels triumphed over L.A Dupingy Remix 4034 points to 3619 points.
In the quarter finals this weekend, Golden Arms will play Good to Go, Layou meet Smarts Boys, Wake up Stars come up against Rebels and Matrix will play Home Boys.
Four (4) teams will make it the semi-finals of the competition.
