Friday’s results of LIME National Basketball League games

Results of games played in the Lime National Basketball League on Friday in the Domlec Premier Division and the Kubuli/Vitamalt Division 1.

In the first game of the night in the Kubuli/Vitamalt Division 1 saw the defending 2010 regular league champions Salisbury Juggernauts go down in defeat to Element Agencies Ole Skool by 3 points. After being down by 4 points at half the experience Ole Skool players held the favored Salisbury Juggernauts to 4 points in the 3rd quarter to gain the lead which they never relinquish, eventually winning by 3 points.

Final Scores Ole Skool 54 points to Salisbury Juggernauts 51 points, top scoring for Ole Skool were Cedric Hypolite 14 points and Bert Benjamin 10 points, while Dean Vidal 16 points and Jason Lee 10 points in a loosing effort.

In game two in the Domlec Premier Division the disappointed United Insurance Sharks after loosing in Grandbay last week wanted to get back on the winning track and did not disappoint their following from Scotshead by humiliating Dr Mac Prowlers of Trafalgar by 21 points . The game remain close all through the 3 quarters but in the fourth quarter the Sharks won the quarter 29 points to 13 points extending the lead to eventually win the game 85 points to Prowlers 64 points. Top scoring for Sharks were Royce Ceasar with a game high 32 points followed by team mate Neverson Jnobaptist 22 points and for the Prowlers a valiant effort by Fitzgerald Daniel 17 points and Joel McIntyre 12 points.

The games games continued last night in the Lime National League with a triple header at the Lindo Park.
Kubuli/VitamaltDivision 1
Game 1 – 6.00pm – NBD Original X-Men vs. Malta India Marauderz

Domlec Premier Division
Game 2 – 8.00pm – No Look vs. Gatorade Blazers
Game 3 – 9.30pm – Castle Bruce Oilers vs. Paix Bouche Eagles
