Full speed ahead for LIME 2011 Basketball League

The Lime 2011 Basketball League continued on Saturday  with two games in the Kubuli Division 1 to conclude the first week of basketball.

In game one, saw newcomers Ian Douglas Patriots easily defeated Police Sports Club 71 points to 56 points, the half time score was 25 points Patriots to Police 15, and the police never got closer eventually losing by 15 points.

Top scorers for Patriots were Marlon Hilaire 32 points and Kymani Thomas 10 points while Floyd Theodore had 13 points and Englebert Defoe 11 points for the Police Sports Club.

In Game two defending Division 1 champions Wesley Raptors destroyed new comers Black Knights by 28 points with final scores Raptors 64 points to Black Knights 36 points. Top scorers for Raptors were Curtis Akiel 22 points and Tim Telemaque 13 points and for the Black Knights G.Hilaire, 22 points.

The games will continue this week from wednesday at the lindo park in The Kubuli Division 1

Wednesday Games
Game 1 – NBD Original X-Men  vs. Morne Prosper Ballers
Game 2 – Grand Fond vs. Goodwill Starz

Thursday Games
Game 1 – Ian Douglas Patriots vs. Kelvar Daroux Hurricanes
Game 2 – Massacre Black Hawks vs. Element Agencies Ole Sckool

There will be no games on Good Friday and Easter Saturday.

    I understand Division 1 started first because of the amount of teams, but when will Premier Division start playing?

      the first premiere league is scheduled for April 29, 2011 beyween Marigot Sonics and Sign Man X Men and on April 30, 2011 the No look team will take on the United Insurance Sharks
