    Hi Johnny,

Congrats to you from the Roseau Improvement Committee ( RIC) Inc.

Your achievements in Volley Ball brings to us nostalgic memories of the Days when Roseau Community had access to the Windsor Park for such Sports as Volley Ball, Basketball and Netball.

    Congrats also to President Rupert Sorhaindo, for your commitment to the game for all these years;

and to men like Rennix Guiste, who along with RIC molded many of the young players.

Alas, in this National Volleyball league, just like in the National Basketball League, not one match will be played in Roseau, because of lack of facilities.

There is still land around the Stadium for the Volleyball, Basketball and Netball Courts, as well as for the Soccer practice field. Part of it is in bush whilst part is occupied by an old storeroom.

in the meantime Sports among Roseau youth continues to die a painful and costly death, because of lack of Community facilities for them to play.

On Sundays they have to play their little Soccer on the concrete by the bus stop on the River bank.

Will the ‘higher ups” please listen to the cry of the suffering youth of Roseau.

    Hon. Norris Prevost.

Mr Prevost great point! This is not politically geared at anyone but just the facts. As a former National Volleyball player myself and member o Bath Road Rovers volleyball team, it is amazing how we have moved toward the development if youths at the National Level while at the club level there is no move to encourage the growth which provides the foundation at the National Level. I also hope that one day MR SAMUEL DALEY will be GIVEN HIS ACOLADES BECAUSE HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR PWELLY THE LIKES OF Renix, Ray, Bougla, Ken, Curtis, Marcus, Jungle and the Female volleyballers would be non-existent.

Samuel big up to yourself you are the Father of Dominica volleyball and I will give you your flowers while you are alive!!!!!!!

Mr.Prevost as a young man from Roseau I don’t think that there is not enough done in rebuilding the sporting facilities in Roseau. I remember the days when Roseau had many teams in football, basketball and volleyball. Since the Windsor park was upgraded the participation in national competitions from teams from Roseau has been on a decline. What I am saying Mr.Prevost as the pal rep. for Roseau you should be fighting for the sporting facility for the sports men, women and children of Roseau.

May it’s time for you as a young man to rally-up your colleagues and approach your pal rep that he might just feel your enthusiasm and sound the call for Roseau youth but if you guys continue to play on concrete with no complaints then why voice now? you living right in town with all de radio stations and is a comment like this that will cause you to speak? Stop attacking the messenger and put de message into context!

I have to recommend Jeffrey Baptiste and his team at LIME for such a great job they have been doing.

ONCE AGAIN THEY CONTINUE TO PUMP LOTS AND LOTS OF MONEY INTO OUR ECONOMY IN SO MANY AREAS OF THE NATIONAL LIFE…WHAT A TEAM FERDINIA FRAMPTON, JAMES DOMINIQUE, MISS MITCHEL AND SO MANY OTHERS ARE DOING SO MUCH FOR DOMINICA.

MAY GOD BLESS LIME AS A SPORTS MAN IT TOUCHES ME EVEN MORE.

    C O N G R A T U LA T I O N S TO LIME FOR EASING D STRAIN ON US SPORTS MEN

    • Please spare us!
      May 23, 2011

I wonder who is first pumping the money into LIME pockets? Could it be the consumers they rape daily? Quite so!
