In response to a request by rounders players for the organization of a National Rounders League, the South East Sports Committee in collaboration with the Sports Division will hold a planning meeting for all interested teams on Saturday June 12, 2010 at 9.30a.m. at the Goodwill Primary School.
All teams interested in participating are invited to send at least one representative to discuss the logistics of the league tentatively set to begin in mid-July.
The Sports Coordinator and representatives of the South East Sports Committee, organizers of South East Rounders for the past 14 years will be in attendance.
In other news, the South East Sports committee has set June 27 for the commencement of the 2010 South East Football League. Teams are asked to get their registration forms and fees of $100.00 ready so that logistics for a successful league can be undertaken within the limited time that is available.
