I must say that is a good thing that the Minister has/ had done. Keep it up Mrs. Charles your husband would be more than proud.

A good thing for our young people it’s time the ministers shared more love and give more attention to the persons in and around the communitiy.

Mrs. Charles that was too good man.

Madame Charles, it would be fitting and proper if you would use this momentous occasion to name the Media Centre at the stadium, “The Jefferson Jeff Charles Media Centre”. No one can doubt Jeff Charles’ tremendous contribution to the game of cricket going way back when. His sensational cricket commentaries still holds a place in the annals of the sport of cricket in Dominica and the Winward Islands by extension. Jeff Charles, no doubt, pioneered radio and broadcasting back in the days of WIBS in Dominica that many still remember and proudly cherish. His interesting “sports in review” on a Sunday afternoon on WIBS, still brings lots of memories that I can only still cherish. Jeff always wanted to see Dominica do well in cricket at every level of the game, from the backyard, to the village level, to national level, and then to higher heights. Jeff Charles still remains a household name in beautiful Dominica in the name of cricket.
