Salisbury advances to finals of District Sports Festival

dno sportsSalisbury will represent the West at the Final of the Sports Division organized District Sports Festival expected to take place in December 2014.

Six villages, namely Layou, Massacre, St. Joseph, Mahaut, Campbell and Salisbury competed in cricket, netball, football, basketball, rounders and volleyball in the West District Sports Festival.

Salisbury won with 28 points – winning rounders and netball and placing 2nd in volleyball.  St. Joseph followed closely in 2nd place with 26 points with a win in volleyball and three 2nd places in cricket, netball and basketball.

Layou came in third with 24 points with wins in cricket, football and basketball.
